So they proceded to the nearby church which also stood out like a sore thumb. The place was enormous. The main building was made out of white marble in a shape of a dome. What made it stand out aside from its size was a gigantic statue of a warrior in full plate armour stood straight and imposing right infront of the church's gate. The face of the statue which wasn't covered by its helmet looks kinda familiar.

"PAPA" (Nami)

Little Nami on Shen's back pointed at the statue and shouted. Indeed, the statue looks exactly like Shen.

"Hoh, interesting. Let's go in" (Shen)

Passing through a beautiful garden, the group quickly entered the interior of the church. Numerous exotic sculptures and paintings decorated a wide hall. Most of them were the imagine of Shen in various majestic pose while the paintings displayed Shen's past exploits.

For example, the Siege of fort Orin, one of the 5 mega fortresses that Shen captured, or The Silent Night, one particular raid mission deep in enemy line which consist solely of Shen and a cook. Even Shen can't eat what he cooked himself. The raid objective was to counter-assasinated a group of 300 highly trained assasins. In a moonless night void of light, eerie silent blanketed the whole world, a black shadow moved through the everlasting darkness like a reaper collecting his harvest. What remained of the infamous Black Order were 300 souless bodies. Why did he realize it was The Silent Night? Well, the symbol of the Black Order was visible on a man with a knife still stick to his forehead told everything. That night Shen decided to be humourous by killing every single assassins with the same method they usually used to end others, stab a knife through their skull.

"Well, this is embarassing" (Shen)

"Tell me about it. Luckily, they don't have my picture" (Sandra)

"Papa so cool" (Nami)

"Oh thank you" (Shen)

*Rub Rub* (Sound of Shen rubbing his cheek against Nami's)

"Ehehe it tickle" (Nami)

Then the group continued on their merry way to explore the church. At the end of the wide circular hall was a door lead to another room. It looked like a praying room with many wooden benches lined up neatly and a big statue of a woman in silk dress not any smaller than the one at the gate. At first, everyone thought it was Sandra but when all eyes land on a certain spot they decided otherwise.

"The chest is too big" (Shen)

*Bong*

Yes, although the face was still the same, the two holy mountains of the statue was way too different to the great plain of the original. Not that Sandra accepted the truth face on, thus the knock.

"Milord and milady, it's an honor to meet you again" (Trean)

"Oh, uhm....." (Shen)

"It's Trean milord" (Trean)

"Yeah, Trean, that's right, what are you doing here?" (Shen)

"I'm a War Paladin milord. This is where I pray when I'm not busy adventuring though it is quite strange to speak to the same Gods I was praying to earlier" (Trean)

"Does a Paladin allowed to become a adventure?" (Shen)

"Yes, in fact, the War Paladins are encouraged to become adventures in time of peace. Our doctrine is 'fight without end' afterall" (Trean)

'Who wrote that shit?' wondered Shen internally.

"Hey hey, do you have holy magic? Can you heal with nothing but mana?" (Dante)

"Although we do have holy magic but I'm affraid only Druid is capable of healing magic. Our War Order is more proficient in combat and buff magic while the Ruin Order is well verse in mass destruction magic" (Trean)

So the group with an addition of a tourist guild continued on their merry way.

The church was enormous with 4 main halls, one for the God of War, one for the Goddess of Destruction, one for the Holy Children, in other word, Shen's kids, and finally one for the Holy Mother, Shen's wife. The Hall of Holy Children is smaller than the previous 2 and only contained 8 statues with some decoration and so did the Hall of Holy Mother. However, these statues have nothing in common with the originals. Trean explained this was because the appearance of Shen's children and wife was a secret only the Warmark Empire known of which also disappeared with its downfall. Although everyone and their mother knew they existed, no one knew how did they look like. Not that the family themselves cared about such thing and simply enjoyed the tour.

"Papa, Nami hungry" (Nami)

"Right, it's way pass lunch isn't it" (Shen)

The tour unexpcetedly lasted for 4 hours. If Dante didn't accidentially find a hidden cookies cabinet inside a pilliar then every nook and crany of the entire church wouldn't be examined to the very ant hole by the kid troupe. Who would put away cookies in such a place and why would he do that remained a mystery.

So the family and Trean went to have their late lunch at the Boar and Cousin inn's restaurant. At that time Ryze and Karma also returned.

"Find anything new?" (Shen)

"Not really, this world magic is quite primitive" (Ryze)

"Well, it's only 2700 years old afterall" (Sandra)

"And you? Anything interesting?" (Karma)

"Is visiting your own church considered interesting?" (Shen)

Said Shen with a light chuckle

"By the way, do you notice the commotion, I heard something is going on in the slum" (Ryze)

"No, we were at the center of the city, what happened?" (Shen)

"I don't know, the guard said it was a riot, they are trying to suppress it" (Ryze)

"A riot? Why?" (Trean)

"Government? Poverty? Someone steal a cow from a peasant? There's load shit of reasons" (Shen)

"Papa, language" (Nami)

"Oops, sorry dear" (Shen)

"No, although there's a slum, that place only gather scum and lazy leecher of the city. Everyone who is willing to work will be supported by the baron. In case you heard those false rumors from the common folks, the baron is actually really nice. Yes, he do fire anyone who get money out of nowhere but that only because he strongly believe in his family principle: 'you earn what you work for' and that too help reduce bribery and corruption. It is stupid to rebel against such a nice noble" (Trean)

"Is this also part of adventure's knowledge?" (Sandra)

"No milady, he is Tilea's uncle so we got to know him pretty well" (Trean)

At this point, Shen was having the 'Who the fuck is Tilea?' face.

"It's the blond girl" (Sandra)

"Wait a minute, the one with the foul mouth? For real?" (Shen)

"Yeah, we get that alot. It's due to her adventures parents. Anyway, the guards can handle the rebel so we will be fine" (Trean)

"Well, good to hear ...." (Shen)

Before Shen can even finish his sentence, a guard bashed into the inn.

"Everyone, to the church, it's an emergency" (Guard)

"What's going on?" (Trean)

"You are Trean from the Loki? Good. Help me evacuate everyone. I will explain on the way. Shit is going really crazy out there" (Guard)

"Alright. EVERYONE THIS WAY, KEEP IT CALM" (Trean)

Maybe because the citizen of Pigge is so used to monster attacks every now and then, they moved in a very orderly manner. Of course the family also went with them. None of them wanted to be involved in the incident.

"I guess there's something wrong with the rebel but why the church?" (Shen)

"It has a barrier in case a large monster wave overcome our second wall. It is currently the safest place in the city right now. However, this whole thing is kind of fishy. The slum can not have enough personnels or training to break through the inner wall. In fact, it was impossible" (Trean)

"Then what caused all this chaos" (Sandra)

"Let me ask the guard" (Trean)

The guard was a midle-age man clearly full of experience from the way he was moving and conducting the evacuation. He kept on gathering civilians while positioning the adventures and guards to cover every possible blind spot.

"Hey, what exactly make you so panic?" (Trean)

"I don't know man. It's a zombie horde but they are strange. Holy magic doesn't work and whoever got bitten by them turn into one shortly later. Our front line was caught off guard and everything just went down hill from then. We are making a final stand at the inner wall's gates, not for long though" (Guard)

'That sound familiar' thought Shen.

"Why? Can't you just close the gate?" (Trean)

"They flood the control tower before we were able to. Let just hope they hold it long enough to evacuate all the civilians" (Guard)

"VIRUS ZOMBIES!" (Shen)

Suddenly while the guard and Trean was discusing, Shen exclaimed out loud, making everyone around jumped from fright.

""Vase what?"" (Guard & Trean)

"Alright, kids, we got work to do. Flora, Nami and Sandra to the church, Megumi, Dante, Oars and Sai, each reinforce a gate, Luxus and I will spread out and covered for the evacuations throughout the city. Prioritize civilians. You guys (the champions) spread out and help too" (Shen)

"What about me?" (Anna)

"Uhm, honestly I don't know where to send you without worrying about setting the city on fire" (Shen)

"NOoooo, it's not fair. Send me send me sendmeeeeeee" (Anna)

"Fine, you make sure none of the zombies get out of the city" (Shen)

"Yayyyy" (Anna)

"Alright, now go" (Shen)

After his brief instruction, everyone knew what they had to do and replied swiftly.

""Roger"" 

After a lound confirmation, everyone spread out to do their own work, leaving the dumbfounded guard and Trean behind.

"Hold on a sec, what are you lot doing?" (Guard)

"Well then, please take care of the citizens" (Shen)

"What? Wait. Stop" (Guard)

The poor guard called out in vain. The family had already sprinted away from the spot and the champions also spread out to deal with the zombies, only the church team remain with the refugees.

"I sincerely thank you" (Trean)

Having realized the intention of the family, Trean bowed his head in gratitude. The significance of being helped directly by the legendary deity isn't small at all. No matter what problem arose, Trean knew for sure that they will be capable of solving it.

"Just what are you talking about? This is not play ground for children. And you, Trean, you called yourself a paladin when you let normal civilians run around like that?" (Guard)

"It's ok. We know what we're doing. I suggest you keep moving. Something's coming" (Sandra)

*ROAR*

A massive zombies horde number to hundreds flood in from the eastern gate.

"Shit. Everyone, run" (Guard)

"Flora, if you please" (Sandra)

"Yes, aunty. 《Vine Wall: Eternal Redemption》" (Flora)

*Rumble Rumble*

The even stone ground and intact building busted open by thick vines the side of forearm each. They interwinded together creating a sturdy green wall halting the zombies's advance. However, that was not all. The mindless zombies slammed agaisnt the wall were warped, punctured, and crushed by the thick vines with sharpen points. The skill name was indeed fitting.

Of course, the refugees on the other side couldn't witness the horrendous sight beyond and kept running toward the church.

"I still can't stand the name though" (Sandra)

And the one invented the name, you guessed it, Shen. It can't be helped though since he was the one created it along with most of the skill everyone used. Only Sandra with a completely different power system was safe from Shen's chunnbiyou naming sense.

At each city gate, similiar situation happend.

"《Iron Wall: Eternal Suffering》" (Megumi)

A steel wall with spike emerged from the ground.

"《Wind Wall: Eternal Separation》" (Dante)

A tornado that shreded everything inside appeared out of nowhere.

"《Thirteen Pilliar of Eden》(Oars)

Luckily, this skill was created by Oars himself so he dodged a bullet there. As the name implied, 13 stone pillar spring out from the ground in a shape of a circle. Thin membrane of brown energy connected the pillar covering the whole southern inner gate. Although thin to the point of transparent, none of the zombie was able to escaped.

"《Ice Wall: Eternal Prison》" (Sai)

Frozen corpses were what left of the eastern inner gate. The guards here had already been wiped out.

"BURN, HAHAHAHAHA, BURNNNNNN 《Ring of Fire: Stigma of Sinner》" (Anna)

And the whole city was surrounded by a ring of fire dozens of meters height....
