“MORTAR!!!”
Lionel jerked up in furry. How could he forget about this sound? It has haunted his night for months. He suddenly stopped moving. The place was dark, he wasn’t on the roof anymore.
Did I fall with the building ceiling?
He looked around, trying to find some light source but found nothing. After a few step he finally reached what felt like a wall. He kept walking with the its help and finally touched an interrupter.
“Finally!”
As he pushed it, light blinded him.
“For the love of god!”
After waiting a few minutes to regain his sight, he could finally look at his surroundings. He wasn’t in the hotel, he was sure of it. He was in some kind of hangar. It seemed to be 100 by 25, 2500m². He was at the end of it, far from the door.
Next to him was a bed made of wood and fur. He tried to remember what kind of beast had this type of fur but couldn’t see any animals with this kind of white color. He then switched to the other part of the hangar.
Near the bed he saw what looked like a bathroom but much more futuristic than what he ever had at home.
On the other side, he saw a workshop with a forge. He left the bed and went to examine it. It had everything needed to build bullet, arrow, bow and arrow. He tried to think of a place near the hotel that could have this kind of tools but nothing came to his mind. He went back to the “bathroom” and opened the dresser he saw near it.

Inside, fur clothes were settled. He touched them and frowned. How could his battalion miss a place like that? It must be a survivalist hiding place. He went back to the workshop and searched through the drawer. Aside from the tools he found a Mle 1892 and 24 mun. Aside from that the place was kinda empty.
He then went to the door of the hangar and prepared his weapon. He didn’t know how much time passed since he fell unconscious but the nazi would probably be already here.
He put his sniper on his back and prepared his gun. Breathing heavily, he prepared himself to rush outside. After a few second, he jumped out.
“What the actual fuck?!”
He pinched himself and looked around him again.
“So it’s not dream…..”
Aside from the hangar behind him, he could only see snow around him. A vast snow plain. He stared for few minutes before going back in the hangar.
“What the fuck happened…”
He went to the bed and after putting aside his weapons and equipment lay down.
“seriously…. What happened when I saw unconscious…“
