The wolf brought me to the intruder, there was six people.
They were… different…
Well, i’m one to talk.
It has been a few years since I began to take care of the wolf, three years if I remember well. I kinda lost track of time.
Anyway, back to what happened.
One day, when I came back from hunting, my whole body began to hurt, I felt like thousand needles were inserted in my skin at the same time.
Luckily it happened at my hut. The wolf were resteless, poking me with their nuzzles.
I had to lay down to feel a bit better.
The wolf were around me, warming me. They grew up well.
The male is the most rebel one but even then, he obey.
The female are more… smart, they always manage to do what they want without disobeying.
The pain persisted for days, I lost conciousness a few time and couldn’t move too much. The wolf were with me most of the time, they would go hunt sometime but there was always one of them with me.
When I finally woke up without the pain, I felt… different. My body was leaner and my sense were more… developed. I could see more clearly, hear more clearly, everything felt different. I checkd myself and I somehow lost my human’s ears to gain animal’s ears. I also got a tail. My nails were stronger but more importantly, I was stronger.
When I went out to “test” mys new body, the wolf were moving around me happily. I indeed got stronger, not by much but it was still nice. My nail were strong enough to damage a tree. As for my jaw, I could breack a bone while chewing.
Back to the intruder, one of them looked like a fighter while the other were more like civilian. I don’t remember a lot but could say this with certainty.
One of them, with black clothes was looking around restlessly. I could smell the fear from him.
The other also looked like scared but less than him.
I left them alone when the wolf smelled a prey.
From time to time, I would go and look what they were doing.
They built a camp and people are joining them.

One time, I wanted to talk to them but when I approached, the camp disappeared.
I could still smell them and hear but I couldn’t see.
The wolf where a bit restless.
I don’t know what happened but I won’t risk myself or the wolfs.
I left the place and went back to the hut.

[asulf point of view]
It has been a few cycle since master took us with him.
Mother often told us about a strong male she met outside the cave. She told us how strong and calm he was.
She used her mana to teach us everything about our species history and from what I understood, we can change our body shape to our will.
I often heard her mumble about this man and how she’d like to meet him. I even saw her practice her transformation.
My sisters were a lot less interested in this than me, bilhild aside.
We knew we were the last fenrir and they already decided to make me their mate.
One day, mother came back heavily wounded. She went to hunt outside the forest and a group of human warriors attacked her.
She tried to heal herself with mana but the wound were to deep. If she died, we would die as well since we were too young to live by ourselves.
A few days later, we finally met him, the male mother had her eyes on. He was big.
He patted mother and closed her eyes. It look like he didn’t dislike mother…
We were a bit scared but ultimately, we came out of under mother. When he saw us, he frowned.
I thought he would kill us but surprisingly, he took us with him.
My sisters didn’t know but he used mother meat and skin, not that it’s important.
He treated us very well, slept with us and always made sure we were ok.
I remember one time when Bilhild went outside and got attacked by a strof.
He killed the monster with his bar hand! He was like the wariors of old from the memory mother gave us. He was like a fierce god of war trempling on a weakling.
I think Bilhild fell for him this day.
As we grew up, he began to teach us hunting. Even if we have the memories, it was different than the real thing.
He was patient with us …
I felt like he was my father.
He played with us, took care of us and most importantly loved us.
It’s sad mother died before mating with him but since bilhild is fond of him, she will give birth to strong child.
One day, when we came back from the hunt, he kneeled and held his head. We didn’t understand chat was happening and he was in a lot of pain.
The pain persisted for days but when he finally recovered, his body had changed.
He had parts of wolf and was stronger.
From mother memory, it looks like species tend to mutate around fenrir.
They will eventually gain feature of their mystical beast.
Every race came from a mystical beat. Humanity and fenrir are children of the old wolf, the deity with a wolf body.
Bilhild was delighted to see this, so were I and my sisters.
Time passed and we reached what the human call adolescence. Our bodies got bigger and stronger.
Stranger also came to our forest but father didn’t see them as threat and ignored them.
He made us go again but they used mana to hide themselves.
I’m sure he knew they were still here but he just grunted and turned back to the hut.
The time is coming for my sister and I to tell father of our knowledge and the fact that we can transform.
I don’t know how he will react but i’m sure everything will be fine.

“Few thing are known about the strof. Most of the information are found in old documents or stories. They are often described as beast from hell. They possess two legs covered with scall, a big body covered with fur and four sturdy arms ending with a set of long claws sharp enough to cut a man in two. They do not have a head and their mouths are on their body upper part. How they hunt is a mystery. The only thing sure is that it take fifty strong men to stop one of this beast if we look at the reports and even with that much, the casuality would be vast. Luckily they only live in the prohibited forest and leave it rarely. May the unlucky man that meet one of this beast rest in peace.”
