Zuzana was just sitting in her room reading smutty literature when it dawned upon her that she hadn't eaten breakfast and now it was almost lunchtime. Hunger pains ensued. "Oh man, what am I going to eat?" She thought to herself. Fighting her procrastinative nature she stood up and went into the kitchen of her tiny one-bedroom apartment. Opening the refrigerator she thought, "Shit I forgot to go grocery shopping." Since cooking was no longer an option she did what any single young adult would do. She called her parents.

'Hey, mom.'

"Morning Zuzu, what's up?"

'Did you guys cook anything?'

"We had breakfast earlier but it's all gone now. Why?"

Quietly grunting she said, 'Oh never mind guess I'll just run to the store.'

"Alright honey be safe."

'You too- I mean shit nothing, alright love you!'

"Well there goes that.", she thought. Now the time had come for her quest for food to begin. She got undressed, took a timely shower then got out to put on a fair amount of makeup. After having a falling out with her current outfit, she got dressed again, grabbed her backpack, and was all set to go. She opened her door to be met with a slap to the face.

'Ow!!', She erked.

"Oh God I'm sorry", a familiar voice said.

'What was that for!?', she said looking up again.

"It wasn't for you, it was for your door, I was about to knock but then you opened it, hehe sorry."

'Well, shit Jack maybe next time pay attention would you!'

The assailant was just Jack from down the street. They met at an Adult Entertainment Expo about 6 months ago.

"Right right I got you. Where ya headed?", he said curiously.

'I'm going to the- wait a minute why are you here?'

"Oh! Right. I came to give you this.", he says handing her a decorated envelope.

'And what is this?'

"This is an invitation to my aunt's Summer Ball, which is tomorrow."

'Summer "Ball"?'

"Not an actual ball, she just wanted to be fancy. Just a regular degular party, but I wanted to have you there, so I thought I'd stop by to invite you in person.", he says smiling gently.

'Well I'll have to check my schedule.', she said smiling and looking away.

"I'm sure. But yeah, where you headed?"

'I was going to the store to get something to eat. You wanna come with?'

"If you're buying I'm in."
