When it rains it pours. A situation has come up where a close family is currently in the hospital facing a serious medical issue. Unfortunately its also one where a clear diagnosis is still pending, but it could potentially be a very serious and bad one. In either case the waiting and not knowing has left myself and others waiting around and simply fearing the worst.

Obviously this has not left me in the best headspace. Because of this my drive to write a compelling and interesting story is sidelined, and anything I did attempt to write would be less than.

I hope for good news in the near future and a return to normalcy, but until then I wouldn't be doing myself or anyone who cares at all about this story a favor by just muddling through and half-assing things. So the story will be paused for now with the hope and expectation that this pause is a short one.

In the words of a former governor of California, I'll be back.
