First Day in Law Enforcement...
Rene walked through the school parking lot still discussing what to do with his avatar.
'Can you access admin capabilities in the basic system?'
[[Within reason. What do you have planned?]]
'Create chat groups. Start with a global group and include every human with system access. Then create subgroups based on current national borders and further sub-divide the groups to province/state and all the way down to cities, towns, and villages.'
[[That's mighty ambitious. If you do this person will know who did this. I know why you're doing it. Be prepared for possible repercussions.]]
'We have to do this. A reliable communication system with an alert capability will save countless lives. Just convince the Xerys System that this is a capability it gave us by mistake. Just make sure that it creates everything first before it has second thoughts.'
[[Alright this will take a few minutes.]]

Rene let the avatar and Scarlett handle the job he dropped on them and pressed the speaker button for the school's front door.
"Bonjour Monsieur Wilder." Rene heard the school secretary's voice from the speakers.
"Bonjour Madame Bouchard."
"I'll let Paul know you are here."
"Merci beaucoup Madame Bouchard. I'll wait for him in my car."
"Bien. Au revoir Monsieur Wilder." Madame Bouchard called Paul's class to let him know that his father was waiting for him.
A few minutes later a tall young man came racing out of the school's front doors.
Rene unlocked the passenger side door before his son ripped the handle off. He doubted his son knew just how extensive the changes that the evolutionary flash made to all humans were. The less he had to fix, the better.
"Hi, Dad. Thank God you're here. I was going crazy in there. They wouldn't tell us anything. They put the school in lockdown when that flash went off." Paul asked a thousand questions and Rene tried his best to answer.
The SUV made it out of the parking lot slowly. Due mostly to the weather and the constant stream of parents coming to pick up their children.
"Where are we going?" Paul asked after Rene answered most of his questions.
"You are going home. I need to report to RCMP HQ where your uncle Pierre works."
"Why? And what about mom?"
"Why, because Canada Post personnel have been drafted to help out during the crisis," Rene explained. "Your mom is doing her bit at the hospital."
"Can I come with you instead of sitting alone at home? I want to help too." Rene looked at his son's face and saw that he was determined to help out. Rene decided it was better if he helped out where he could keep an eye on him. Paul was a young man. Soon he would be graduating and going to Ottawa University in a few months. It would be best if he got some experience in this new world where he and his brother Pierre could ease him into the new world order.
"Fine but you will listen to both me and your uncle. This is not like the online games you play with your friends. No matter how much it resembles a game right now, it's not. This is deadly serious. Do you still want to help out?"
Paul ground his teeth but he stayed calm, "I won't disappoint you or uncle Pierre."
"Well let's see about getting you ready. We have at least another hour in this traffic before we reach RCMP HQ."
