It was morning again, and Zaki and his companions began running again.

While running, Zaki began to experiment with his [Enhanced senses] once more. He was attempting to direct his hearing in a cone-shape towards the front as In the case of an ambush, the opponents in the forest are usually in the front, waiting for the prey to approach near enough to either pelt them with arrows or just cut them down fast using the element of surprise.

Zaki had enhanced his hearing in a cone shape, hearing everything within two hundred meters to the front, but the problem was that when he concentrated his hearing, he had difficulty hearing the sounds around him in his immediate radius, which could be dangerous; after all, attacks don't always come from the front, and there are other dangers in this forest besides the hunters.

Actually, Zaki's problem isn't a problem at all; with enough experience with internal energy and the spell, the problem will resolve itself, but Zaki has only recently come into contact with internal energy.

"uhh yea, you don't have to be down man, uhh the thing the adventurers said mightave just been a myth, you don't have to worry about the breakthrough stuff"

"I wasn't thinking about it; in fact, I broke through."

"No worries, man, it doesn't matter, you still got the mental energy from the fruit...do you know any mind type spells?" If not, the energy is wasted; what level of mind nourishment are you now?"

"I know a couple, but I don't think it would be useful in battles, and I don't really know what level I am right now; I know and can control the energy, but I don't know what level I am right now."

"Can you use your mind to influence physical things?"

"What kind of influence? I'm not familiar with mind cultivation, therefore I'm not sure what you mean."

"Like touch or move things with your mind?"

"...I haven't tried it at all, so I don't know"

"Can you then move your mind energy out of your mind?" Just try to push some of it out."

For the first time, Zaki tried to control his mind energy and discovered that it was easier than he thought; thanks to his mental strength, he could control his mind energy like his limbs; he proceeded to push the energy out and began feeling the wind, not through his skin, but through something else, by his mental energy outside his body.

"It feels strange, as if I have an extra limb on me."

"so you're at least on the second level of mental nourishment"

"second level?" Zaki drew back his energy.

"I had heard that the mind nourishment realm has three stages, the first level can only influence the cultivator's body, the second level can be brought outside the body but is useless because it is too weak to do anything substantial, and with the third level the cultivator can move objects using his mind."

Zaki furrowed his brows in thought, metaphorically feeling the gap in his knowledge"What about spells? How well can a second level mind nourishment work in a genjutsu?"

"Gen-what?"

"genju-Mind type illusion spells"

"You know illusion spells?" That's some highly rare and secretive spells! I had no idea you were a psychic...wait, did you know psychic spells but couldn't cast them because you lacked mind energy? I don't know anything about psychic cultivators, but you have to test it when we rest at night, dude, I want to know how awesome the spells are!"

"...okay? Though I doubt it's anything exceptional or awesome, if the spells operate as it's supposed to, the group's battles may grow simpler depending on the situation."

"Awesome or not, you gotta show me!"Dimitri exclaimed while looking very excited.

"chill man, you'll see it sooner or later, and again, it's not really a big deal or special, anyway I still haven't eaten the 'body' fruit, you'll have to take this, it will help you a lot."

Zaki stated as he took the fruit from his pocket.

With the benefits Zaki acquired from the trials, his need for the fruit has been significantly diminished; it's not that he doesn't need the fruit anymore, but it's not as urgent as it was before.

Dimitri grumbled at Zaki, "Like I said, it's more important for you to eat it, me eating the fruit will only waste it, seriously man, It doesn't matter if you didn't breakthrough, just eat this fruit and you'll become stronger increasing your chances of survival, Our chances of survival!"

Zaki pulled back his hand that was holding the fruit, thinking that no matter how many times he explains, Dimitri for some reason won't believe that he broke through in his mental strength.

"fine whatever man,...I have a spell that allows me to hear things 200 meters in front of me with high quality, but I can't hear anything nearby, so keep an eye out and tap me in the back if anything happens or is required."

"really? That's cool, I won't ask why you didn't use it until now, but don't worry, I'll watch your back"
