Sub-Entry 1
Hello again, journal. It is I, Cardinal Raphael, otherwise known as Rayfa Viswan.
As a part of my infiltration of Castle Valondrac, I have elected to profess ignorance of subjects that my “character” would most likely lack. A Tramontan commoner is unlikely to know much about the subject of demons and their natures aside from common knowledge, so I have acted as such. Curiously though, this supposed ignorance of mine has drawn the attention of my roommate, Cotrina Red-Tongue.
Trina appears to believe my lack of knowledge in a field she is knowledgeable of is something she needs to correct, to the point of vocally declaring that she will fully educate me on all matters demonic. And while I doubt I need such an education, I also believe it would be remiss of me to deny a readily available and freely offered resource, so I have accepted her offer.
Note: I know how demons work, so while I did accept her offer, I also paid her with some shared candy, directly stating that it would be my payment for the lessons. Trina laughed, but she accepted, so I will not owe her further. As Michael always says, demons never do anything for free so never accept an open deal. They will always take more than you are willing to give.
Further Note: To be more specific, Michael actually said to never ever ever make deals with demons because they’re untrustworthy and doing so is against an angel’s very nature. I have simply modified their advice to be less uncompromising because they don’t know everything and shouldn’t act like they do.
I should note though, Trina being who she is, there is likely to be frank and frequent discussions regarding matters of a sexual nature. It is just how she is, but while I will endeavor to convey the content of these lessons in a frank manner, I will also advise discretion in future readers of my reports.
Hopefully, she will take things seriously.

Trina put way more effort into this than I expected, Raphael thought to themself as they took a seat in the room specially prepared for their “lesson”.
Aside from the somewhat small desk Raphael sat at–one that reminded them of the ones Zemavan schools used–there was also a larger desk with a stack of books atop it that sat in front of a chalkboard at one end of the room, all presumably for Trina’s use. There also appeared to be several props and materials set up in one corner of the room, which Raphael didn’t know the exact use for, but suspected were education-related. Or, well, hoped they were.
"Hello there my lovely student~!" greeted the cambion in question as she came into the room, wearing an outfit they’d never seen her in before. Clad in a two piece suit, she almost looked like a professional teacher, were it not for the very short skirt that showed a great deal of her thighs and legs in tight pantyhose, and the ample amount of cleavage she was showing through her white blouse, unbuttoned to an almost threatening degree as the valiant buttons strained in their attempt to contain the full force of her...Trina-ness. She even had on a pair of glasses and had tied her hair back in a ponytail. “Who’s ready to learn–Wait, why’s Stolas here?”
“Yo,” the redhead greeted, grinning wider at Trina’s blatant confusion. The elder of the Sitrin sisters was dressed more casually than her typical uniform in a loose, partially unbuttoned short-sleeved shirt and far tighter trousers, her red eyes glinting with lazy amusement behind a pair of thick-rimmed glasses that seemed almost at odds with her messy tangle of maroon hair. “Thought I should show up to keep Ray from doin’ anything she might feel awkward about later.”
“...You mean you wanted to mess with me.”
“I also wanted to mess with you, yeah. But c’mon, Tree, you gotta admit, you’re easy to mess with–no, wait, other thing. Yeah, you’d probably kick off an orgy if someone didn’t rein you in.”
“I don’t need reining in! I’d be completely nice to Vissy! Consent is important!” ...She didn’t deny the orgy thing.
“Suuuuure, but also, you’re you, and Ray could get swept up easily.” Their lack of confidence in my self-control is annoying. What do they think I am, some naive young woman easily led astray by the wrong crowd? “Besides, you didn’t deny it, and we both know why that is.”
“Your lack of confidence in my self-control is very hurtful, I hope you know that. I wouldn’t push things that far anyhow, I know how to restrain myself!”
“So, just to check, Islao isn’t in that closet there, wearing only glasses and a bowtie?”
“The librarian??” Raphael had to ask, genuinely confused.
“...” Trina coughed awkwardly. “Uh...it was for the demonstration on incubi–”
“We both know why he was here, Tree.”
“...Hmph.” Trina grumbled under her breath as she walked over to the closet and opened it up, revealing that there was indeed a tall man with tanned skin and blue-hair, wearing glasses and a bowtie. “Hey, sorry, we’re gonna have to cut the live demonstration stuff, Stolas is being a pain.”
“I did hear most of that conversation, so I have the gist already. Shame, it did sound like a fun idea,” said the lean and admittedly very well-built librarian in a smooth, deep voice that...well, it was an interesting feeling hearing it. Raphael would admit that much. “Well, if that’s all you ladies need from me, I’ll be heading out.”
“Like that?” Raphael couldn’t help but ask, and they felt their face warm as Islao gave them a smile.
“It is still my time off. If I can’t help with…educational opportunities, then I might as well find someone fun to do, yes~?”
Raphael considered mentioning that he said someone, not something, but was fairly sure they would be teased if they did…Hm. Why is that idea appealing?
“Sorry Islao, but Stolas says. Unless she’s changed her mind~?” Trina said, grinning at the redhead.
“Oh yeah, sure, I’ve completely lost control of decision-making in the presence of a naked dude, not like I’ve seen that before,” Stolas replied, her tone somehow both flat and amused, “See ya, Slao.”
“Only if you want to, Stolas~” His voice was a deep purr that made Raphael shiver again, their face warming in reflex. Incubi were…definitely dangerous.
Still, it was almost a shame to see him go. Because of the educational opportunity of a live model. Clearly.
“Down girl,” Stolas said with some amusement, causing Raphael’s face to warm as they realized they’d been craning their head to watch Islao leave.
“…w-we should get back to the lesson,” the angel suggested, ignoring the amused smiles of their friends.
“Well if you insist~” Trina teased before clapping her hands together. “Okay! Welcome students, one more than expected, to Demonology One-oh-One! You may know me out in the halls as Trina, your fellow maid and bestest buddy!” Stolas snorted, but Trina continued without pause. “But here, within these hallowed halls of learning and education, you may call me Professor Red-Tongue, scholar of all things demonic! For the most part, I’m really just using a bunch of personal experience mixed with some books I asked General Samore if I could borrow. Like all true professors!”
Raphael wasn’t sure if any of that was true, but Trina seemed confident. They weren’t going to call her Professor Red-Tongue though, largely because they were positive she had zero teaching credentials to her name.
“Now for our first lesson, clearly we oughta start with the best type of demon out there~!” With an over-dramatic flourish, Trina pulled a pointer stick from between her cleavage–Has she had that in there this whole time?–and used it like a wand on the blackboard, forming the words:
Lesson 1!: Luxurians~♥
“Woooooo,” Stolas cheered with little enthusiasm, in that same tone of flat amusement.
“Sh! No talking while the teacher is talking!” Trina insisted, before casually conjuring a simple chair in front of Stolas, “C’mon, sit!”
Stolas rolled her eyes before turning the chair around and sitting on it, using the backrest as more of an armrest.
“Not what I meant, but alrighty! Anyhoo, onto the basics!”
With another flourish, the words [The Basics] formed on the blackboard as well.
“Luxurians, as you might already know, are one of the most common types of demons out in the realms. Born of selfish carnal desire, their natural home is in Vebaste, the Second Circle, under the dominion of the Flesh God, otherwise known as the Skin-Weaver or the Fleshmaster, but plenty of them live in the mortal realm too since they are most easily sustained by the sexual desires of sapient mortals! That and Estus has a bunch of nice locales to hang around in.
As Trina spoke, her wand continued to move, writing the most important terms on the board behind her in bright pink and magenta. “But back to the main topic, Luxurians are embodiments of sexual desire in excess, specifically meaning sexual activities with the intention of self-focused pleasure. Selfishness is an important part to any sin, and we all know demons are born from those. But yeah, basically, Lust as a sin represents a desire for physical pleasure through stimulation, mainly through the body’s erogenous zones. It’s a very physical sin, very sensual~ And the different ways in which it manifests means that rather than just one type of lust demon existing, there’s several! With three major ones, as you might imagine. Though maybe you’d be assuming Luxurians come in twos because they’re from the Second Circle? Eh, either way, now we get to the fun part~!”
Her wand wove through the air, forming a trio of pink, androgynous figures, each lacking features but possessing common traits: goat-like horns, bat-like wings, and spade-tipped tails. “The Luxurian species~! Or as they’re more popularly known, succubi, incubi, and concubi~! That’s succubus, incubus, and concubus in the singular form, so you know.”
Raphael nodded along, studying the floating figures for a moment to see if anything could further be discerned from them. But no, they just looked like floating demons. Imps, maybe? Can demons conjure imps? Hm, that could be a question to ask–
“Pop quiz!” Trina interrupted, diverting their trail of thought, “Which type am I?”
“A succubus,” Raphael promptly answered before Stolas could.
“...eh? Oh, yeah, uh, what Ray said.” ...Is she even paying attention?
“Mmm, close~! Very close~! But wrong, unfortunately!” Trina faked a disappointed sigh. And even though they knew it was fake, Raphael couldn’t help but frown. “Technically right, at least in a cultural sense, but I’m actually a half-succubus~! A cambion, if you want to be technical~ Human half matters more than you might think with how Luxurians work~
“As demons of lust, their beings are very sexually charged naturally, but as demons, specifically, they’re actually pretty rigid in how their existence is defined! The human element means that I actually have a lot more leeway, let’s call it, in how I turn out as a person, whereas demons always trend towards certain things because of their inherent nature, which is why Luxurians are subdivided into three separate classes~! And so, my cute students, what would you say is the difference between the different species of Luxurians?”
Okay, Raphael definitely knew this one. “Incubi are masculine leaning, succubi are feminine, and concubi are androgynous.”
“Ooo, close! Super close again! Buuuuut not quite~!” As Raphael frowned to themself, Trina gestured to one of her imps, moving the construct forward. “Starting off with incubi, you are right that they are usually hot, hunky dudes, but more specifically, they’re about dominance~ Incubus means to ‘lie upon’, to be the one doing the, ahem, thrusting, not being thrusted into~ Now that’s not to say there aren’t submissive male Luxurians, but we’ll be getting to that in a bit~”
“You sure we can’t skip to that part?” Stolas queried, amused as ever yet sounding slightly more interested.
“Mm, nope, gotta stick to my lesson plan, sorry~! And that means sticking with the typical incubi~!” The grinning cambion waved her wand as the imp became slightly more defined, its features taking on a more masculine cast as its horns curled back in a manner more akin to a ram’s and turned a deep black, same for its wings and tail, while a mane of blue hair sprouted from its previously bald head and hung over its pointed ears. The construct raised its now muscular arms up, folding them behind its head as it displayed its abs, radiating confidence with its pose, despite noticeably still lacking in facial features and other anatomy. “Alright, so, this little guy is a quick and dirty representation of what the typical incubi is like. So what immediately stands out to you two?”
“The fact that he looks like an asshole,” Stolas offered.
“That’s fair, lots of demons are assholes, it comes with the natural sociopathy.”
“...it has blue hair?” Raphael suggested.
“Bingo! That’s one full point to Vissy~!” The angel sat up slightly straighter, smiling, though they paused when Trina snapped a finger and the incubus-imp began cycling through body types, first thinning out to a lean, lankiness, then plumping to a hefty physique, then shifting to a slender, softer, and more distinctly feminine appearance. “Ultimately, Luxurians, like a lot of demons, are shapeshifters. Appearance, sex, those are fluid things that can vary easily depending on what their intended targets prefer, so you need to look closer at their nature if you want to actually tell what’s going on with them.
“Take a succubus, for example.” A second imp moved forward and began to alter too, its horns curling upward into something of a U-shape while its figure curved in a feminine cast, complete with wide hips and a sizable bust. A key point that Raphael noticed though was that the succubus’s hair was a crimson shade, falling loosely around its head as it bent over with a coy “expression”, beckoning with a hand. “The obvious thing you’d jump to is her huge tits, of course, but do tits define a demon? Sometimes, yes, but usually no; what defines a demon is attitude, intention! Succubi can be feminine leaning, and plenty are, but the main key to it is submissiveness, a desire to be dominated instead of dominating!
Stolen novel; please report.
Trina smacked the blackboard for emphasis, getting quite into the lesson. “Always remember, demons are conceptual beings! We were born from the dreams of sleeping titan and failing to understand our nature is going to fuck you up because our nature forms who we are as people! A succubus is almost always going to have a submission kink, an incubus is almost always going to have a domination kink, and the ways those can take shape can vary on individual to individual, but the less defined and more demonic members of our species can easily just be sexual stereotyping taken to its extremes!
The succubus cycled through forms, going from slender and petite to chubby and voluptuous then muscular and butch with each change noticeably keeping the same red hair in common. “So don’t think you’ve got everything figured out just because a demon approaches you looking like a hunky dude or a svelte lady! You need to be prepared! In fact, take the scenario I just mentioned! What would those two be as Luxurians, hm?”
“...uh…” Stolas shrugged, glancing at Raphael, who definitely did not preen at the obvious reliance on them. The angel did consider the matter though.
“...Are they both incubi? Assuming ‘dominance’ means they’re more likely to pursue partners while ‘submission’ might refer to them attempting to attract partners, the logic would follow, wouldn’t it?”
“Ooo, smart! We have a smarty in the class, nice~! But as you might’ve guessed, it was a trick question! Because we have a third variable in this logic problem!
And the last imp moved forward, its horns curling backwards from its forehead akin to a goat’s while its own long hair took on a distinctly yellow shade. “Ta-dah~! The concubus, the third axis in our sexy triangle~! Equal and opposite to both their counterparts, you might have assumed they represent androgyny, a mixing or lack of what we typically consider masculine or feminine characteristics in the average humanoid species, but they would represent the switch, as it were, in our trinity here~!”
Raphael raised a hand. “The ‘switch’?”
“Yup! Essentially, throw out those rules I just mentioned, because a concubus can play any side of the field they feel like! Imagine it like a chess game: A bishop can move diagonally, a rook can move straight, but a queen can do both!”
“What about a knight?” Stolas asked.
“We don’t talk about those!” Trina answered, before clapping her hands together, “My point is, concubi add a fun complication to matters. You can sort of think of things as incubi pursue while succubi allure, but concubi fill out either role if it works for them.”
“Like a carnivore, herbivore, omnivore thing?”
“Nope, not in the slightest, that’s a Gulan thing. Sex isn’t eating, I already mentioned that. Right? I think I mentioned there was a line between lust and gluttony, or was that just in my notes…? Ah, never mind, my point is, it’s a triple threat of sexiness! Which brings me right to the actual threat that Luxurians pose, because yeah, we’re demons, we are still dangerous even if we’re seeking pleasure to feed off of.”
She pulled a chart down over the blackboard, one displaying the words “Anatomy of Luxurians” and the image of a naked demon standing with his arms spread. There were also further diagrams regarding the different parts of his external and internal physiology–including things like “most humans can’t get abs this defined unless they’re dehydrated; demons exaggerate, don’t try to look like them” and “does not have human organ systems; internals are made of whatever works best”–and smaller pictures emphasizing the shape of the wings, how horn shape could factor in what type of “cubus demon” they were–with a note that more powerful devils could have multiple horns–and a rather artfully rendered picture of the devil’s butt.
The note on the image claimed that it intended to showcase what a Luxurian’s tail looks like, though “tail” was in quotation marks.
“The average Luxurian devil is usually going to be physically stronger than the average human. Adventurers and heroes can definitely be way stronger, but Joe the farmer would have a rough time trying to beat an incubus in a bar fight, for instance, not least because all devils in general are magic beings. In fact, each major type of devil has at least some association with elemental magic~! And would anyone care to guess what a Luxurian’s natural magic happens to be~?”
“It’s wind,” Raphael promptly answered.
“Exactly right~! ‘For the winds of sin blow about the lustful, carrying them aloft just as their passions bolstered their reckless intent!’ Read that in a book once, I’ll see if I can remember the title later. I always liked to think of it more like a mischievous breeze though, messing up hair and flipping up skirts~ Though, on that topic–”
“Of skirt flipping?” Stolas drawled, amused.
“Maybe later, but I meant more on the magic side! Because while Luxurians are defined by the breeze, incubi and succubi actually have a further distinction between them in how that breeze forms, with incubi being more of a cool and chilly wind while succubi are a hotter and heavier air~ While it’s not quite on the level of being able to fully manipulate ice and fire like perfidians and iratans, I’ve met plenty of succubi who can throw a fireball on command~!
“And speaking even more of magic, there’s one more type of magic that all cubus demons are quite well known for~! Well, there's two actually but I already went over shapeshifting~" With a flick of her wrist, the chart went back up as more words went up on the blackboard, spelling out 'Dream Magic'. “As demons created by the sleeping titan, we all are naturally attuned to the realm of dreams~!”
"So you can control the dreams of others?" Raphael asked.
"Not exactly! You see, aside from depending on the level of expertise of the individual Luxurian, we can really only manipulate dreams, not control them. Which basically means that while we can tailor the dreams to fit the desires of those in it, if the person dreaming is mentally strong enough, they can stop us from changing anything, to the point of even just outright kicking us out.
“And, of course, while we’re at our strongest within a dream, it's also where we’re at our most vulnerable. Like most demons, trying to put us down in the mortal world will just send us back to our realm in the hells, excluding someone like me of course. Half-mortal means death is definitely on the table in a way it just isn’t for pure Luxurians, but for those pure types, as beings of dreams and lust, the entities you see in whatever dreams they influence are their true selves~! So while they can manipulate and mess with dreams, so long as they have enough access to get in, any hit they take is going to hurt a whole lot worse than if they were in a mortal body! So it’s definitely a double-edged sword, unless you’re actually getting permission to enter someone’s dreams instead of trying to stealth in like some type of perv. Then it’s just another type of play.”
“Hold on, back up there. Did you just call someone a perv?” Stolas asked, sounding deeply amused.
“You may call me a hypocrite if you want, Lassie, but my perviness just makes me an expert on the subject! But yeah, so that’s Luxurians in a nutshell! We’re sexy and sultry, we mostly come in pink with highlights in other colors, and our magic relates heavily to wind and dreams~! That about covers it for the main stuff, so do you two have any further questions?” Trina asked while casually switching the text on the board to read Q/A.
“Do luxurians need to eat semen to live?” Stolas immediately asked.
“No but it tastes better to us than most folks.”
“Alright, that’s all I had.”
"..." Raphael stared silently at Stolas for a few moments, then turned to face Trina. "I've heard that luxurians supposedly steal and eat the souls of those they sleep with. Is that true?"
"Pfft, wow the Light Lands make up some weird rumors. No, we don't do that. If we did, then I'd have the souls of plenty of people in this castle~ And in case you wanted to ask more, we don't steal souls, but there have been cases of people offering their souls to be together with a luxurian they become quite attached to~”
“Hm. That brings me to another question then. Is romance considered unpleasant to your people?” They fully remembered Trina’s embarrassment whenever the topic of her romance novels came up.
And sure enough, the succubus reddened again, before clearing her throat. “No, not exactly? It’s...it’s more embarrassing. Cubus demons, luxurians, we’re born of sexual attraction, not romantic infatuation. Romance doesn’t factor into relationships for most luxurians; things like marriage, commitment, hell even just monogamy is regarded as limiting and restrictive at best. It’s, you know, the ‘ball-and-chain’, being ‘whipped’, getting ‘tied down’. To a luxurian, relationships are about gaining without giving. If you’re committing yourself to someone, you’re...enslaving yourself to them, basically, and romance is like a trick that suckers the unwary into lifelong commitments for nothing more than an attachment to one single person.
“It doesn’t help that traditional Luxurian society was very, ah...hierarchical. I mean, it still is, archdevils are always going to be considered higher up than regular devils, but there was the idea that the only value you had was in the partners you kept, so harem culture was the name of the game. And if you weren’t top of the pile, the harem master gaining all these sexy guys or beautiful ladies to answer to your every beck and call, then you were either unwanted dirt or an idiot slave affixing yourself to whoever held you by the metaphorical balls. Or maybe literal, things could get harsh.”
"But as someone who is half mortal, you find it harder to separate the two?"
"Hng… Not exactly, look just, something like this is serious business in luxurian circles, please don't tell anyone, especially if they're luxurians, okay?" Hm. Normally this would be a time where Raphael would think this could be useful information to be used in the future, but the genuinely beseeching look on Trina’s face made them reconsider that.
"Of course, I promise not to tell."
"Eh, got no reason to tell anyone. Would be too much of a pain,” Stolas agreed.
"Thank you! Now, well, if I'm being honest, I have, on occasion, might’ve maybe felt something more than...lustful desire towards someone. However, as a Luxurian, I can't let anyone know that, especially since I live in the Demon Lord’s castle. I mean, seriously, this is a pretty prestigious gig and while Luxurians aren’t Invidians, it’s not impossible for them to start disliking someone for being, say, an ‘uppity half-breed’.”
Raphael frowned. “Is that an issue you’ve had to deal with?”
“Mm, once or twice, though the moments I can think of ended with the asshole in question getting beaten with clubs by my mom and her cult, so it hasn’t been too bad. Oh, yeah, that’s a point that I probably should mention, Luxurians are mostly known for the sexual aspect of lust, but bloodlust is a thing and we’re actually pretty close to Violentians in the metaphysical sense. Dolori especially, that’s pain demons for the layman, are pretty close in the sense that we’re almost two sides of the same coin, one being pleasure and the other being pain. I think there’s even a subtype? I wanna say...ah, no, it’s not coming to me...something about gluttons for punishment? No, that would be Gulan, though…” Trina shook her head. “Point is! Overlap!”
“Yes, you mentioned. Hm...would you say a luxurian’s nature is set for them? A succubus will always be ‘submissive’, as you say it?”
“Ehhh, submissive, alluring, the point of a succubus is more like...at the end of the day, you wanna be the one receiving, drawing someone in, not the one pursuing and staying on top. Though that is sort of a funny thing, now that you bring it up, because there are exceptions to the rules, in a sense.” She casually gestured as the incubus imp suddenly turned a bright red while the succubus imp shifted to a light blue. “Case in point, the vermillion incubus and the cerulean succubus~! Essentially, they’re somewhat rarer types of luxurians and the simplest way to explain them to you is that they are service tops, and power bottoms respectively."
"...eh?" Confused, Raphael quirked an eyebrow at her.
"Well, for example, while vermillion incubi are still tops, rather than being controlling or assuming dominance, they tend to leave it to their partner to decide what they'll do, focusing more on pleasuring their partner above all else. And while cerulean succubi will still be bottoms, they will be the ones in charge, completely controlling the show as they tell you what to do, and they'll make sure to tease and compliment you all the way~."
“Ah...interesting. So a cerulean succubus would hold a similar position to an incubus in the hierarchy?”
“Eh? Oh, no, what? Incubi aren’t higher in the ‘hierarchy’, it’s not based on dominance. Well, not in that sense. Loads of succubi hold higher positions in Luxurian society because being alluring allows them to draw in partners instead of having to pursue them. Hell, there are way more succubus queens than incubus kings because they don’t have to expend as much effort bringing people in. It’s not, like, you win because you like to top in the bedroom, you win because other demons are willing to do anything you ask of them. Dominance doesn’t equal power, influence equals power.” She grinned. “Hell, just look at my mom, she runs a pretty decently sized cult and was even a queen for a while over in the Light Lands.”
Wait, what? “What?”
“What?”
“You–Your mother was a queen in the Light Lands–” Oh. Oh wait, hold on, I know this story. “Your mother was the succubus King Richard Lucene married!?”
“Yup!” Trina beamed proudly, her hands on her hips. “Fully married too, not just a concubine! Or a mistress? Which one does the Light Lands–ah, never mind, point is, yup, she married a king, got knocked up thrice, and even made it out with a good chunk of loot to fund her cult!”
Raphael sank back in their seat, somewhat baffled that they hadn’t made the connection before. Then...her mother’s name would be Red-Tongue then. Did I hear that name before? I could have sworn...
“Huh. So are you some type of princess?” Stolas asked.
“Eh, maybe? Mom never divorced him, so if he didn’t bother to disinherit me and my sisters, then yeah, I probably am still royalty.” She rubbed her chin, thinking. “Hm, now that I think of it, the Light Lands and Dark Lands are technically at peace, so I could probably press my claim if I wanted...though I guess the twins have first pick if it came to that...eh, whatevs, point being, I’ve got some royal blood in me!”
“Neat.”
Stolas didn’t seem especially impressed, but Raphael was still reeling with the sudden implications, especially with how tenuous the situation was in Luceneva to begin with. Light, if Valondrac knows, she has an easy way to claim an entire kingdom… Though...they did have to admit, it was difficult to see Trina as any kind of royalty. Maybe the Naked Empress, but not an actual ruler…
“Hey Rayfa, are you doing okay? You’ve been sorta quiet,” Trina asked, looking concerned.
“I’m fine.” Think of an excuse for the lapse, think of an excuse–oh, there’s one. “I was just thinking about the succubus queens you mentioned.”
“Oh yeah, I should explain those! Alright, first off, they’re not exactly ‘royalty’ royalty, not in the sense that my mom was; the title of Queen or King is used to denote that they’re an archdemon, not the standard demon. Even if you don’t know for sure what those are–” Raphael did, in fact, know exactly what an archdemon was, having fought many of them. “–the basic is they’re a step up from standard demons. An archdemon is always going to be above a demon because it’s a term used to denote power, not just authority.
“Anyhow, ‘royal’ luxurians are all about having massive harems. Status comes from how many lovers they have fawning over them and like I said, it’s easier to amass a big one if you’re the one reeling demons in instead of going out to collect them.”
“Hm…but wouldn’t being in charge of the harem make them the, ah, ‘dominant’?” Raphael asked, “At least, in so far as I understand the social-sexual dynamics at play here.”
“...Yeah I guess? Sounds about right to me.”
Raphael blinked. “...But you said the nature of a succubus is to be submissive?”
“And the nature of a queen is to rule. I guess if it helps you could think of it in terms of pursuit and allure instead? The big part is that incubus tops, succubus bottoms, concubus switches. Though now that I’m thinking about it, an incubus king would probably have a lot of appeal too, so I guess he can fit the ‘allure’ thing too?”
“...I…suppose–Hold on, you’re directly contradicting yourself.”
“Hmm…yeah, sounds like I am! Ah well. Relationships are weird and sex is weirder, so hey, take things as they come!”
…I just wanted to know how to properly categorize luxurians–No, don’t think about it. She’ll just make it more confusing. “Thank you for the lesson. It was very...informative.”
“Heh, no problem! But don’t think we’re done just yet! We have six more sins to get through~!”
“Learning about, or committing?” Stolas drawled, smirking as always.
“Yes!”
...Well, at least it should be informative.

Lesson 1 - Things to Remember!
1 - Luxurians are lust demons that exist in three types: succubi, incubi, and concubi!
2 - Trina has twin older sisters!
3 - Stolas will take any opportunity to skip work!
