It was the day of the Ball and everyone was preparing for it. Liz was still having trouble picking out which dress she should wear. She tried asking Mary, Jane, and Elizabeth but they all picked something different. So Liz decided to go for a walk to get her mind off things. Liz was quiet nervous and stressed. She had been invited by 3 guys and was still trying to figure out how to talk and dance with each one of them. Liz kept walking until she came into a entrance to the woods. She could hear music playing and it made her want to dance. So she followed it. When she reached the place where the music was coming from she saw people plays harps, violins, and cellos. They stopped play. Then Liz asked,
" Are you practicing for the Ball tonight?"
" Yes we are," said one of the players.
" Okay, well please play on. It is quiet lovely," said Liz smiling. So the players nodded to each other and started to play. Liz began to dance. The music made all of her worries go away. She kept dancing until she felt a tap on her shoulder. It was Nicholas.

" May I dance with you," he said smiling at her. The music started to slow down to a slow dance type music. Liz smiled and said,
" Yes." So they danced with each other. To Liz, Nicholas was a very good dancer. He had smooth hands and he smelled very good. Liz let out a sigh.
" Everything okay?" He asked.
" Oh yes, I am just a little stressed," Liz said looking up at him. Nicholas was slightly taller than her.
" Why are you stressed?" He asked.
" Oh because I don't have my dress picked out yet and there is only a few hours left until the Ball," she said slightly frowning.
Oh wel-," Nicholas began to say but was cut off by one of the guards who came riding in and said,
" Your majesty, blood has been spilled at one of our camps. You are needed at once."
" I am sorry but I have to go. I was very nice dancing with you and that dress looks lovely on you," Nicholas said running off.
" Bye," Liz said softly then turning and walking back to the castle.
