Dawn of the second day. And much like last time, the pair of sunrise enjoyers were on the rooftops again.
Crimson had the same pajamas from last time. Same for Samuel.
She was giggling.
In Samuel’s heartfelt, most honest opinion, hearing her laugh was the most beautiful thing he had heard in a while.
“Did you actually rob a convenience store?” The redhead asks, to which her companion nods with a somewhat embarrassed expression.
He wasn’t expecting her to react this way.
“I keep telling J to stop doing that but she can’t help herself. Damn adrenaline junkie.”
“You talk as if you didn’t like it.” She teases him a little.
“Eh, I’m more of a ‘stay in your lane’ kind of guy.” He shifts his legs around, sitting in a lotus position. “I already make enough money to not need to worry about stealing from convenience stores.”
“I guess you’re at least doing better than me.” The freckled woman had an interesting expression on her face. She seemed… content. Happy, almost.
She ends up sneezing as she was going to follow with her train of thought.
“Bless you.”
“Thanks.”
“Your sneeze is cute.”
This time, she straight up laughs from how sudden that compliment was. It was probably a tactic to hide her embarrassment though. “T-Thanks.”
They both look away from one another, enjoying the serene atmosphere of the sunrise, which was as beautiful as last morning.
And the good vibes each one brought to one another.
“I’m thinking about cooking something.” Samuel breaks the comfortable silence. “I’m starving. You down?”
“I guess I am.” She answers while standing up, her default short smile back on.
They then go back to the living room and into the kitchen, where the duo enjoy a short cooking session. Two chicken sandwiches, fresh and tasty.
“Cheers.” The male of the two says while offering her a toast… with their sammies. A playful smile that the redhead mimicked was on his face as she went along with it and bumped their meals before digging in.
The rest of the morning is uneventful. Everyone else wakes up. Hawk does some light physical exercises while Jane and Bloom both drink a green smoothie, courtesy of the blonde. She said it would taste nice and be healthy.

It sure was healthy…
Crimson and her new friend were both back in their fit.
Everyone except Deck was up and running. At least up until the door to his room creaked open.
With a jaw splitting yawn, he hastily greets everyone while heading straight to the kitchen. Once there, he says. “Beol is coming after lunch. Get ready.”
“Who?” Bloom asks.
“Your instructor. The one that’ll be making sure none of you fold like paper.” He then sips from his cup. “And tomorrow, we’ll be giving our gear a test run.”
Not elaborating further, he goes back to his room.
That aside, the morning is uneventful again. The new ‘couple’ of girls was already out of the house and God knew where.
The freckled woman chooses to spend time to herself again but would frequently glance at Samuel, who, despite being with the biggest in the house, would do the same to her.
They’d smile embarrassingly whenever they caught each other staring.
“You wanna go be with her, man?” Is the muscular man’s honest question.
Samuel shakes his head, which surprises Hawk. “Maybe tomorrow.”
Lunch time comes, which has everyone eating at different times, and once 1 PM hits, the girls are called back by the man in black.
Not long after their arrival, a woman kicks through the front door. If it weren’t for her noticeably more chiseled body or the fact she was a brunette, everyone would have mistaken the lady for Crimson.
Beol, they assumed, sure made an entrance.
“Hey, everyone, name’s Beol. Now, go get changed, I have a busy schedule and need to get this over with fast.
The fierce-looking woman definitely didn’t beat around the bush.
And as time went on, so did their training and now, the afternoon was close to ending and everyone present felt productive and even a bit excited.
Hawk was impressed at how much he got pushed. He was already a bodybuilder so anything thrown at him wouldn’t be too tiring.
Bloom was a perfect opposite to him in that regard. She was dead both inside and out and just wanted to sleep forever. She never had to train so hard before.
Crimson, along with Samuel and Jane, were craving for a well deserved rest. Not that they couldn’t keep going but they rather not do anything else for the rest of the day.
“Ok,” Beol starts, her stuff already packed and ready to leave. “You lot are better than I thought, especially for some no name thugs. I’ll be back tomorrow at the same time.”
She then starts pointing fingers. “You, muscle head! You’re hot.”
The compliment was so out of nowhere [paired with how tired everyone was] that Hawk’s only response was freezing in place, embarrassed.
She keeps going though. “You, blonde! You’re pathetically out of shape. Hopefully, you’ll be worth something by the end of the week.”
Too tired to be sassy about it, she just flips her off from where she was standing.
“You, redhead! You’re good, keep at it.”
A somewhat out of character hint of pride can be seen in Crimson’s smile, even if only for a second.
“You, dark skinned girl! Stop clowning around during our sessions. I’m here to train, not goof off.”
Jane, who was goofing around with Bloom during their training, felt silly at being called out like that. She just nods though.
“You, goatee guy! You’re also good, keep at it.”
And with those final words, she turns back to the exit and leaves, not bothering with waiting for the man in black’s reaction.
It just ends up being a prideful smile, similar to Crimson’s, except it lasts longer.
