“Looks like the woman is gone for now.”, thought Albert. He had finished school and was now back to this dream isekai. “I should probably look for answers about this world before I devote more time into getting better.”.

The next morning, as the alarm clock in Albert’s room at the inn rang, Albert set off to look for answers about this world. “Connected to my world, huh…?”, Albert remembered what Andrea had told him previously.

Albert walked around town, in search of someone who might know why he was brought here. At first he tried the guild, but no one could believe him when he said he is from another world. “Kiddo! There’s no such thing as ‘another world’! Hahahahahahaha!”, one of the adventurers said loudly, and the rest started to laugh along.

Next he went to a bar, where he thought would be someone who knew something about his world. Turns out, all the people there were drunks, so none of them really provided any information at all.

After that, Albert tried going to the center of town. He thought, “a lot of people gather there, right?”, he was wrong. Not a single soul was present at the center of town. It was almost deserted, with maybe one or two occasional townsmen walking by.

By the time he left the town center, it was near sundown. “Sigh…Probably only Andrea and the Legion know about my world.”, he thought as he started walking back to the inn.

Suddenly, in a thin and dark alleyway, a girl got Albert’s attention. “Who? Me?”, said Albert. “Yes. Come with me! I’ll show you something.”, said the girl. “No! Who even are you? Are you from the Legion? Are you with Andrea?”, said Albert in a scared voice. “No, I do not mean any harm. I’m just like you, I came here by dreaming.”, said the girl. That caught Albert’s interest. “So I’m not the only one?”, said Albert. “No, you’re not. There is a group of us all from your world, Japan, to be more precise.”, explained the girl, “So come with me.”. And so Albert followed this newfound friend of his to a sewer.

“This is our secret base. We use this place to hide from the Legion.”, said the girl.

While Albert and the girl continued walking down the sewer, he got a good look at the girl. The girl was very cute and loli-ish, with nice skin and blond and long hair. She also had a really nice voice. Albert started to blush a little after looking so closely at the girl.

And then they stumbled upon a door. “Are you ok? Your face is a little bit red.”, said the girl. “I’m fine…”, said Albert, “Is this it?”. The girl opened the door and inside Albert saw a very nicely furnished room the size of a basketball court, with more rooms on each side of the main room. “Woah!”, Albert thought to himself. He has never seen anything so neat and modern as this ever since he came to this world.

Then, a boy around the same age as Albert walked into view. “You brought a stranger?!”, the boy yelled as he walked towards Albert and the girl. “Whack!”, the boy slapped the girl in the face, and the girl fell to the floor, “You do know this is a SECRET base don’t you.”. “Wait don’t hurt her!”, said Albert. The boy wasn’t having it, “You better get out of here, or else I would have to make you. And don’t you dare tell a soul about this place.”, said the boy.

“I’m from Japan!”, said Albert. “Who car…What?! There’s more of us?”, said the boy, “Just what is the mastermind thinking.”. “Who is the mastermind?”, asked Albert. The boy told Albert that the mastermind was the person behind all their weird dreams. “Apparently, this is all planned by the person.”, said the boy. “But why target us?”, said Albert, “Is it because of the RPG game? I play that.”. “Well everyone does, so it can’t be that.”, said the boy, “I’m George, George Manifold. She is Crystal, Crystal Haidens. We are the rebels, we stand against the Legion, and we are all from Japan.”. “Is there more of us?”, asked Albert. “Woah…slow down there buddy, who said you were one of us?”, said George, “I’m just kidding.”. “That’s why I hate you.”, said Crystal in a low voice, who has now stood back up and was hiding behind Albert to avoid George.

“Yes. There are in total 6 of us including you.”, said George, “I should introduce you to them soon in a meeting. Will you join us in this meeting?”. “Sure! Why not.”, said Albert.

At the meeting room, 3 other people were sitting down on chairs, with 1 boy and 2 girls. They were all of similar age as Albert. The boy, who was rather short and had silver hair introduced himself to be Chris Millings, he was a sword fighter. One of the girls was a very cute loli, with beautiful blue eyes and the same silver hair as Chris, and she called herself Rose Millings, who was the sister of Chris Millings, she was a healer. “I also have a sister.”, said Albert. “Is she here?”, asked Chris. “No. I don’t think so.”, said Albert. The last girl, who was rather tall and also nice looking, with orange hair, told Albert that she was Jessie Mills, who was an archer.

After all the greetings, the meeting commenced. The group talked about a lot of things, such as plans for the near future, and how the newby would go fight with the group to level up quicker. And as the meeting nearly ended, Albert asked the question which was in his mind during this whole day.

“So how are the two worlds connected?”.

“We don’t really know much. All we know is that time moves much slower in this world, a second in the real world is around 30 minutes in this world.”, said George.

Then Rose spoke, “I’m surprised that your sister isn’t in this world. Usually the mastermind targets both siblings. Almost all of the previous players had their siblings taken here as well.”. Albert told the group what his sister looked like, in case her sister was really in this world.

Once the meeting was over, Crystal offered to walk Albert back to his inn. “You don’t have to come all the way to the inn with me.”, said Albert. “I…just want to get away from George for a bit.”, said Crystal. And so the two of them got out of the sewer, and headed towards the inn in this pitch black night.

The journey was very silent, there was only the sound of street lamps flickering. During the journey, Albert occasionally glanced at Crystal, but his vision quickly snapped the opposite direction when Crystal glanced back at him. This process repeated many times, and with each time their faces got a little bit more red. “I wonder if I look good to her.”, thought Albert.

By the time they got to the inn, Albert waved Crystal goodbye and headed towards the entrance. “Albert!”, cried Crystal. Albert looked back and saw tears coming down Crystal’s eyes. “What’s wrong?”, said Albert as he rushed towards Crystal. “Can…can I sleep here tonight?”, asked Crystal as her face got all red like a tomato. Albert’s heart rose very quickly, and his face also became a tomato. “Wh…what?! Even Jasmine haven’t slept with me yet! Oh my gosh what do I do?!”, Albert thought to himself. “Um…”, Albert didn’t know what to say. “I’ll sleep on the floor! I know there is only one bed. I just don’t want to be near George tonight.”, begged Crystal. “O…ok. I guess…”, replied Albert. Crystal jumped onto Albert and hugged him, “Thank you!”. Albert’s face was so red it looked like dynamite which was about to blow up.

The two of them stepped into the inn. The inn keeper saw them and said, “Oh, Albert! When did you find yourself a girlfriend?”. The two of them blushed a lot and Albert said, “We are not dating!”. Then the two of them went quickly into Albert’s room.

As the two tomatoes stepped into the room, Crystal went straight to sleep on the floor next to the bed. Albert put down his belongings and also went to lie down on his bed.

An hour or so passed. But Albert couldn’t sleep. He kept thinking about the things that the group has talked about. How time moves so slowly that he can sleep in this world, and that his sister might be in this world with him. And then, his vision turned to Crystal, who was shivering on the floor, curled into a ball. “She is obviously very cold. How can I make a girl sleep on the floor.”, thought Albert. But Crystal wasn’t actually asleep, instead she was still a tomato. She was thinking about what happened an hour ago. “Why did I hug him?! Why did I hug him?! Why did I…”, this sentence was on loop during the previous hour.

Suddenly, Crystal felt her body being lifted. Albert was princess-carrying Crystal onto his bed. “Wh…wh…what are you planning to do?!”, thought Crystal, who was still pretending to be asleep. “Wow, she is lighter than I thought. And she has really nice and soft skin too.”, Albert said out loud. “IDIOT!!”, Crystal blushed even more, but she couldn’t show it to Albert, so she pretended to turn over.

After Albert had put Crystal on his bed and covered her with the blanket, he too had got back up to his bed. “Jus…just what are you doing?!”, thought Crystal, who still had her eyes shut. Now the two of them were facing each other, and Albert could once again see the cute face of Crystal very clearly. “She is really pretty.”, said Albert out loud, who thought Crystal was asleep. “IDIOT!!”, Crystal thought loudly. Crystal’s face began to glow red again. And Albert lifted his arm and put his hand on Crystal’s forehead, “I hope she doesn’t have a fever, she’s very red.”, Albert thought to himself.

The next morning, when Albert woke up, the first thing he saw was Crystal’s face. “Wahh?!”, yelled Albert, “What is she doing here?!”. That woke Crystal up. “Good morning, Albert.”, said Crystal, “Huh…Why am I on the same bed as you? Wa…wait, you didn’t do anything weird right?!”. “NO! Of course not!”, cried Albert. The two of them stared at each other for a while, and they both turned away with blushing faces.

Then, Albert woke up in the real world. “What was that dream?! It was so perversed!”, thought Albert.

And so Albert got ready and went to school with Jasmine and Sistine.

At school, Albert went to his classes as usual.

After school, right as Albert was about to leave, he noticed a familiar shadow at the end of the corridor. Albert told his friends, “Sorry! I got stuff to do. You guys go home without me.”. And then Albert chased after that familiar shadow.

The shadow moved slowly down the stairs, and Albert was running along the hallway trying to catch up to it. “Hey no running in the hallway!”, cried a teacher. “Sorry!”, replied Albert, who kept running.

As Albert neared the shadow, he saw that the shadow was a girl. “Hey you! Do I know you?”, cried Albert. The girl stopped for a moment, and said, “That voice…Albert?!”.

The girl looked back at Albert, and at that moment, Albert clicked, “Crystal?!”.
