The druid walks beside Jade, Paio is leading into the dungeon with cautious steps. “This is nothing like I have ever seen!” Jade sounds. “If you can even call it seeing.” Paio adds to Jade's remark.
They are correct, the torch they hold seems to give off no light against the darkness, but the darkness seems to not reach the wall stones. It is as if seeing is not with light anymore, it is enough to look just to see. The three can clearly see the end of the corridor, an intersection leading to two directions.
“left or right?” Paio asks Jade and the druid. “Bubo, do you have… druid magic… or something?”
Now they both look at the druid. The druid tries as he might but the two paths seem to lead no where. “The paths are an illusion.” The druid says for the two adventurers to hear, but they still look troubled.
”An… Illusion?” Jade asks.
“The druid cannot see, he cannot see because there is no path. This is the only conclusion.”
They both look at each other.” Than, what do we do?” Paio questions the room, he knows not where to lead.
“There is no way back, the three will wait.” Jade and Paio look behind the druid and they see a wall where a corridor was before.
“What? But how did you know, without even looking behind.” Paio questions again.
“If you know what’s going on here, just tell us.” Jade send nervous as much as the druid was earlier today.
“The druids doesn’t know, he only sees.” The druid sits.
“What do you mean?” Jade asks the druid more. “Sit with the druid, he will explain. There is nothing for the three to do anymore anyway.” with fear in their eyes they sit on the floor.
“The druid is of the sky. He sees through the darkness and his perspective is from above, like a bird’s. He hunts-” as he explains Paio interrupts the druid. “Wait, what is that long word, pesesitive?”
The druid tries to explain again. “The view is not from the druids eyes, but from above. He sees all.” Paio nods to signal that he understands. “The druid sees without using his eyes. He sees the illusion before entering, he sees the wall without turning behind.”
Jade continues “And he sees nothing in the paths…” The druid completes “Because there is nothing to see.”

“The walls around the three change again, it is a circle, with seats.” A moment after, the walls change to look as the druid predicated.
A circle of wall, with a gate, and on top are seats. “An arena?”
“Jade, this is like the Colloseo, from the Paintings.”
The adventurers know something the druid does not. “What is the Colloseo? The druid wonders from Paio.” Paio turns with an odd look, but proceeds to explain “An arena for fighters to clash, and from that gate must come our enemy.” The three await looking at the gate and the gate opens.
Monkeys? But they are not monkeys. Tail for all limbs and tail for a head. “Ghuaa” Jade makes a sound of turning stomachs. “This is rediculous. Jade, stay lively.” Paio holds his shield and axe, Jade holds his sword but has trouble looking at the monstrosity.
“Should these be our enemies? The druid will help.” Six monstrosities and the crowd in the seats filled with more than two hundred.
The druid relays this to the others. “That’s great, Bubo, but… I think they can’t see. They just… Waddle there.” Paio sounds, as he walks up to one. “I hope this will get us out.”
The axe cleaves a monstrosity but another jumps to Paio’s shield. “Ahh, get it off.” Paio runs back and points the shield at Jade with the monstrosity latched on to it.
“Get it away.” Jade screams.
“Jade, hit it with your sword, quickly.” Jade reluctant swings his sword at the shield where the monstrosity holds to. A slash cuts one of the tails and cleaves a part of it’s body, Jade recoils with disgust. The monstrosity falls and writhes in pain.
“Hahaha” can be heard from somewhere above the crowds tail thumping. “The druid will continue from here.” The druid says as he focuses his gaze while pulling from his pocket a vial. “A feather for each.” Feathers dipped in fertilizer fly to each of the four monstrosities. They fall and writhes, untill they move no longer.
“Are they dead?” Paio Asks and the druid answers “These do not belong to the world. They were not alive before, death is not for them.” The adventurers look confused.
The gate opens on it’s own with a jeer from above. “Let’s go, I don’t want to stay here, Paio.” The three leave through the gate to another corridor.
“That was disgusting, thanks Bubo. I don’t know what we would have done without you.” Jade sounds. “What was that vial? Do you just carry poison with you?” Paio concerns.
“It is fertilizer, but to anything not tree it is poison, and quite lethal without dilution.” Perhaps the druid can teach them, it would be nice to have more who care for nature.
The three continue and find themselves in a room that looks different from the rest of what the three have seen. The stone looks normal and the room looks to have been built by some race. “Gnomeish ruins!” Paio loudly proclaims.
The room is shaped like a hallway with a round space at the end. The two adventurers wander around the room seemingly looking for something. “Does Jade and Paio look for a way out?” The druid asks Jade.
“We try to check how the door opens.” He answers. “The door?” The druid continues with another question. “Yes, ruins like these normally have wards or seals, or some kind of thing like that. See that wall over there? It has grooves on it’s sides, it will open if we deal with the secret of the ruins.” The druid understands the feeling of being lost again. Much like the adventurers may have felt before when talking to the druid.
Paio breaks his silent searching in the round part of the room “Found something!”.
