The story begins on the picturesque beaches of Los Vice, where both men and women are seen enjoying themselves wearing swimwear and participating in various activities such as volleyball, sunbathing, swimming, building sandcastles, or simply walking along the beach.
In the middle of all this, we see a man in a white shirt and sunglasses taking a sip of his drink before opening a newspaper he was holding in his left hand. However, his moment of peace is interrupted when someone comes and stands beside him.
“I got an ID on the suspect; he’s to your left trying to chat up the girl in the green bikini,” the person whispers to him.
The man lowers the newspaper and spots the suspect. He responds, “Good, let’s get him.”
The two men start their approach towards the suspect while having a small conversation.
“I didn’t know you started drinking,” one of them asks.
“It was a fruit punch. And it was non-alcoholic. Are you sure this is the right guy?” the other responds.
“Gina’s intelligence matches our friend over there. When has she ever been wrong in her intelligence?"
We cut to the suspect mid-conversation with the woman in the green bikini. He says, “So you want to party at my place? I have some stuff that will make you lose your mind. HA-HA.” Suddenly, the sound of shoes approaching causes the suspect to turn around and get a look at the two men. Sensing that they are cops, the suspect begins running.
“Argh, I hate it when they start running. Wesley, keep on him. I'll try to cut him off,” one of the men says.
The two men split up, with Wesley following the suspect and the other looking for a route to cut him off. The chase leads the suspect to the car park of a nearby motel. Looking for a quick hiding spot, he notices the restrooms and dashes for the men’s room, planning to hide there. He opens the door, runs into one of the available stalls, and waits until the coast is clear.
A short while later, two men enter the restroom, and fearing that they are the two men searching for him, the suspect puts his feet on the lid of the toilet, pretending that no one is there. The two men leave, allowing the suspect to open the door. Thinking he has gotten away, he turns around, only to see a gun barrel pointed towards him.
“Hi there, I have some questions I need to ask,” the person holding the gun says.
The suspect runs towards the door, only to trip up on the trash can and tumble to the floor outside.
“Now let's try this again. Agent Leon Lambert VSE, I have some questions for you.”
We get a shot of the office where the two agents work, revealing the number of people who work for VSE. There are brothers Hank and Frank Marshal, female agents Gina Miler and Sae Hemiko, and finally the man overseeing the group, Lieutenant Sonny Rocket.
In the interrogation room, we find Leon and Wesely interrogating the man they just brought in.

"Look, all we want to know is where you got the drugs from. That's all.” Wesley said it in a calming manner, whereas Leon was fed up and bored out of his mind and had enough of this interrogation and decided a more threatening approach would be better.
“Listen here! Tell us who’s your supplier, or I swear to God, pal, we’ll make the rest of your life a living hell!”
It was clear that Leon’s approach worked, and the suspect began spewing out all he knew, with the interrogation being a success. Leon and Wesley leave the interrogation room and are met by Sonny, who asks what they learned.
Leon began telling Sonny that the man who gave the suspect the drugs was a man called Joesph and how he planned on meeting up tonight at the Club Nightlight. Sonny gave the two the go-ahead to continue their investigation. The three headed back into the main office, where Leon was called over by Gina.
“Was my intel good?” Gina asked.
Leon replied, "Yeah, it was.” Leon noticed something different with her hair. “I like what you’ve done with your hair.”
Gina thanked Leon for the compliment. Leon went back to his desk and looked over his notes of the investigation so far to see if there were any mentions of the name "Joesph,” but no luck. As for Wesley, he made a call to Club Nightlight and learned that a booth had been reserved for a mister Hemsworth. The two suspect that Joesph’s last name was Joesph, and waited till the club opened at seven o’clock.
As seven o’clock approached, Leon and Wesley left the office, got in Leon’s Mustang, and headed for Club Nightlight. Parking outside of the club, they walked into the club, and the place was full of life, with people dancing on the dancefloor, fitting pop music filling the room, and laughter and chatter from people. It's no surprise that it's Los Angeles’s most popular club.
The two headed for the bar and watched on to spot Joesph. As they looked for any clues that would locate where Joesph was, Leon spotted something.
“Over there.”
Wesley looked in the direction Leon was looking and spotted a man sitting with two women, trying to impress them.
Wesley was skeptical that was the man they were looking for and asked if Leon was sure, to which he responded by saying, “Look at him, he’s our man. Come on, let’s be done. I don’t want to be here any longer.”
The two made their way to the booth and greeted Joesph.
“VSE. Don’t ever bother running; you're already cornered.” Leon said
Joesph tried to act calm and composed and asked for the two to sit down. Wesley accepted, while Leon stood at the side and asked for the girls to leave.
With only Leon, Wesley, and Joesph at the booth, Leon began asking about the drug and where it was being stored. Joesph played dumb and said he didn't know what they were talking about. Wesley revealed that Joesph was ratted out by a certain man. Joesph knew he had no choice but to cave in and tell Leon and Wesley that there’s a crate full of the drug in a container at the docks, but it's being heavily guarded.
Leon laughed at the heavily guarded comment and left the club with Wesley. The two decide to head for the container and secure the drugs. They looked over the docks, and Joesph’s heavily guarded comment was serious as there were men equipped with riffles patrolling the area. It's clear whoever’s in charge has a lot of money if they can afford a lot of men to project a container containing the supposed drug.
“What do you want to do?" Split up and cover each side. Or go with a full-on assault?” Wesley asked.
“We’ll head in quietly, then take care of them,” Leon responded.
The two fist-bumped and headed for a side entrance, opening fire on the patrolling guards. Moving from cover to cover, they were able to take care of the guards with no problem. The two had a genius plan of each taking a side, Leon on the right and Wesley on the left, and occasionally they would switch sides, distracting the guards on who they should be shooting at.
Once the guards were dealt with, they reached the container and opened it, revealing the crate and the drugs.
“Nice work, man,” Leon said as the two celebrated their success in securing the drugs.
Leaving the docks, they are stopped by Sonny, who is annoyed that the two didn't tell him where the drugs were being kept and for getting into a gunfight, but he did tell the two that they did a good job and to head home.
