Soho London 2008
8:00 am
The morning sun had just begun to peek through the curtains of Kyle Hammond's bedroom as he woke up to the sound of his alarm clock buzzing. He rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms, feeling groggy from the previous night's late shift at work. As he slowly got out of bed, he made his way to the bathroom, splashed some water on his face, and brushed his teeth.
Feeling more awake now, Kyle went downstairs to the kitchen and put on a pot of coffee. While it was brewing, he checked his phone for any missed messages or emails. He then poured himself a cup of coffee, added a little creamer, and sat down at the kitchen table to enjoy it.
As he sipped his coffee, Kyle thought about his plans for the day. He had a busy schedule ahead of him, with work meetings and appointments lined up. But first, he needed to make a quick stop at Coco, a cozy little coffee shop just a few blocks away from his house.
After finishing his coffee, Kyle got dressed in his suit before grabbing his keys and heading outside to his car. The morning air was crisp and refreshing, and he took a deep breath before getting in the car and starting the engine. As he drove towards Coco, he tuned in to Blue Wave FM and listened to the morning show.
“Good morning, everyone. You are tuning into Blue Wave FM. I'm your host Steven, and let's not waste any time and tell you what you need to know. The weather is cool with a low chance of rain. Traffic will be annoying, but as road work is going on, you better get a move on if you don't want to be late to work. To help you get a move on, here’s Billy Joel with Pressure.”
Once he arrived at Coco, Kyle walked inside and was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee. He ordered a dark coffee with no sugar, which he knew his boss, Nick Johnson, preferred. After collecting the coffee, Kyle headed for the off-license, where Nick was normally seen.
Upon entering Nick's office, Kyle found him on the phone, his voice angry as he spoke.
“Alright, Alright. Look, how about letting me and my boys deal with it? .. Good... Oh, have you? That's great. Okay, bye now.”
Nick slams the phone down and begins yelling at the phone, “FUCKING PRICK!”
Kyle hands over the coffee and asks who was on the phone. Nick takes the coffee and takes a sip before saying, “Bloody Shaun, that prick has a meeting with David later... He’s acting like the big man as he gets to see Dave; he’s forgetting the fact that WE ALL PLAY CARDS WITH HIM ON FRIDAYS. YOU FAT FUCKING CUNT!”

Nick Johnson is the leader of The Blood Fangs the second oldest gang in London the first being the self-named Butcher Boys.
Nick apologizes for his outburst and tells Kyle to take some guys to West End, as there is some commotion going on there that needs sorting out before it gets out of hand. From what their sources suggest, it could be The Jones Boys disrupting business and must be dealt with. Nick says that if it is the Jones Boys, then Kyle has permission to kill them. Kyle asks what to do if it isn't the Jones Boys. Nick wasn’t like the other major gang leaders in London, who would have opted for them to be dealt with using violence.
Nick suggested that violence should be used as a last resort. With the instructions given, Kyle left the off-license and headed for the west end of London. Upon getting out of the car, Kyle took a look around the area to spot the commotion, but there wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.
Walking down the streets, they could hear the sound of people yelling. They began increasing their walking speed, eventually arriving at the commotion.
The people who were responsible for the commotion were four men wearing leather jackets that had the words “Jones Boys” sown on the back, conforming to Nick’s source on who was causing the disruption. Kyle asked the reason behind the commotion and was met with a member of the Jones Boys wanting to fight him. Kyle wasn't in the mood for shenanigans and wanted to be done dealing with these idiots.
To show that Kyle means business, he pulls out his gun and shoots the one wanting to fight in the leg, causing him to drop to the floor and start clenching his leg, now spewing out blood. Kyle asked again for the purpose behind the commotion and was met with an honest response by a brave member of the Jones Boys.
“We wanted to make a few pounds.”
“Why?” Kyle demanded
“I don’t know. Bored, I guess.”
Kyle and his men open fire on the Jones Boys, unloading every single bullet that was in the gun clip. Now that the conflict had been resolved, Kyle called Nick and told him the situation had been handled. He wanted to know if there was anything else that needed to be done. Nick thanked Kyle and asked him to head back to the off-license as there was a meeting that Nick needed to go to and wanted Kyle to come with him.
Kyle headed back and waited for Nick to get in the car, and the two headed for the small restaurant that was owned by the leader of a representative of the Italian mafia. The two sat down and spotted the leader of the Italian mafia in a very expensive custom-made suit approaching them.
They shook hands and began talking about the idea of working together and taking over London. The Italian liked the idea but wanted to know that Nick and Kyle were serious, so he gave the two a job to complete. If the job was a success, then he had no problems working with Nick. They asked for more information about the job, to which the Italian handed over a note before getting up and walking away from the two.
The note read the following:
"Gianluigi, if you are to find him, shut down his operations, and kill him, you will find him at his restaurant named after himself.”
The job is in motion. Nick and Kyle got up and headed for Gianluigi’s.
