OneShot 1: Trinity Dawn

In space, near the endless clusters of stars, planets, and other spacial bodies, lies a ship, A giant ship. This ship has dozens of lifeforms. There were cat people, undead, and even mythological beasts. But they all lived together in a sort of harmony. In one of the compartments of the ship lies a young boy. Who looks out in the great expanse, his mind constantly wondering and imagining. This young boy was called Rines. Rines Tremor. The disciple of the only scientist on the ship. A genius in some peoples minds, some fool in others minds. Rines Tremor was said to be a strange kid since young, he took the test which chooses what a person will be when they would get older. Instead of getting something normal like Clerk or Cook, and maybe Cleaner. He got nothing. At all. They put his answers into the machine and what came out was "Error: Does Not Compute, Best Job for Subject: Unknown." It changed his life. They had no idea what to do with this child. He became shunned by some, pitied by others, and some people were simply amazed. They had no idea what went around in his head.

"Whats that star?" - Rines Tremor

Blue giant.

"So their is a giant man there generating light?" - Riles

Blue Giant is the name. It's actually made out of countless gases constantly igniting keeping the giant at a decent temperature.

"But Aunt Sul Meh Te said that all stars are people?" - Riles

Your aunt isn't related to you. You also should know that that is superstition.

"Voice in my head though, they say that you are just a imaginary friend." - Riles

A imaginary friend acts like you want it. I just don't care.

"If you don't care why did you help me with the test?" - Riles

Those elementary questions would be insults to anyones intellegence. To judge a person off such simple answers is annoying so why not produce something that machine can't figure out. I mean what will you do if a someone kills another person? I told you to put down kill the guy because hes definitly going to try to kill you next.

...

I was told that the right answer was call the Security Defence team.

Too many uncertainties. What if the suspect escapes? I feel its better to kill it now before later.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

After I wrote that In alot of people looked at me strangely.

Who cares.

I do.

You care too much.

So?

Atleast you've stopped talking out loud by now.

"Oh your right!" - Riles

...

I'm going to sleep.

Can you even sleep?

Shut up.

POV : Mr Relm The Scientist.

My disciple is strange. That voice in his head he talks about is more irritating. It's constantly trying to mess with the poor boy. Or well that is what I did think. Till it actually made a move. We were in the engine room when the engine starting breaking apart. And if we lost it everyone on the ships lives would be lost. No one new what to do and none of the usual stuff was working. My disciple picked up a crowbar, iron mask, and blowtorch and jumped at the engine. We saw him smoothly move from area to area pulling the engine under control. It was amazing. He was working with old parts and fixing them on the spot. It amazed everyone and they had a big party for him. When I got him alone and asked him how he knew he told me that he just followed the instructions from the voice in his head. I originally thought that the voice in his head didn't exist so I asked him a series of questions. It was as if I was talking to two people at once. I've never doubted that there was another voice in his head since. When I brought my discovery to the council of the ship, they were amazed. When they learned that the voice in his head allowed him to work in every job on the ship they almost rioted. Now my disciple is craved after by all the other elders. Fortunatly I have alot of power as the only scientist on the ship. So now I've got a disciple who can help me with nearly everything in the lab, and a lot of people who want him.

The child himself is innocent and unexpecting but that voice in his head gives him alot of power. He once was attacked by the strongest kid of the younger generation, and he beat the kid up with utter ease using that voice in his head's advice. Now the Martial Arts Emperor wants him as a disciple as well. But hes unable to move the elders. The captain once took him to the bridge and gave him control for a period of time. Then my disciple piloted the ship that others needed years of training to do, with utter ease.

Now you'd think that would be it. But the Head Cook wanted to test my disciple. Now when the disciple showed nearly 30 ways of using potatoes in different dishes they wanted to take him away from me immediatly. Everyone predicts that he has the capabilities of every job on the ship. Then they brought something to me. They want to send him down to a planet to create a place for us to stay. Someone who knows everything and is able to lead everyone to victory. Now this troubles me, what if the kid dies. I'm super worried about my disciple. I'm more worried about what that voice will do though. That voice seems to have no emotions. I think. My disciple say's it cares for him but I've never seen the voice give actually kind ideas. They were all slightly twisted in some way. That voice seems to have some sort of blood lust. That can't be sated.

I should probably activate all tags... I'll just put what I got as I go. I got more oneshots that will come out as soon as I can get this aproved. The Idea is that I'll drop my ideas into chapters with this One Shot Collection. I probably won't write any of them anytime soon. But I need to clear my head of the things that fly through it sometimes.
