Two long weeks have passed since my admission to this place, and now the day of my release is finally here.
A week prior, I had been transferred to my town hospital, and since then, Lisa and Shohei have been visiting me every day, bringing a glimmer of hope to my otherwise monotonous routine.
However, Ms. Ishhiki's visits have been sporadic due to her busy schedule, though she did assure me not to worry about my work.
Despite the comforting presence, I can't help but feel that staying in the hospital has been nothing but a boring, dreary experience.
But damn it's damn boring to stay at the hospital doing nothing.
Ryuusei lay in his hospital bed, staring up at the ceiling tiles above him. He was feeling down, and his mind kept wandering to Lisa, the girl he had feelings for.
Suddenly, he heard a soft knock at the door, and his heart raced with anticipation. Could it be Lisa?
"Come in," Ryuusei said, his voice barely above a whisper.
The door opened, and Lisa stepped into the room. Her bright smile instantly lifted Ryuusei's spirits, and he felt a rush of happiness flood through him.
"Hey, Ryuusei," Lisa said, her voice gentle and soothing. "How are you feeling?"
Ryuusei couldn't help but smile at her concern. "I'm feeling a little better now that you're here," he admitted.
They sat down on the edge of Ryuusei's bed, chatting about school and their favorite movies. Ryuusei couldn't help but feel a little shy around Lisa, even though he had known her for years.
After a while, Lisa grew quiet, and Ryuusei sensed that something was on her mind.
"Is everything okay, Lisa?" he asked, concerned.

Lisa took a deep breath and looked directly into Ryuusei's eyes. "Ryuusei, there's something I want to tell you," she said softly. "I've been meaning to say it for a long time, but I haven't had the courage until now."
Ryuusei's heart raced with anticipation. Was Lisa about to confess her feelings for him?
"Ryuusei, I don't know how to say this, but...
At that moment A loud scream came out of nowhere.
As they talked, they heard the door open again and Ryuusei's father entered the room.
"Hey, Dad," Ryuusei said, surprised to see him. "What brings you here?"
"I just wanted to check on you, son," his father replied, walking over to Ryuusei's bed. "And who is this lovely young lady?"
"This is Lisa," Ryuusei said, introducing her to his father. "She's a friend of mine."
"It's nice to meet you, Lisa," Ryuusei's father said, offering her a warm smile. "Thank you for coming to visit my son."
"Of course," Lisa said, returning the smile. "Ryuusei is a good friend of mine, and I wanted to make sure he was okay."
Ryuusei felt a sense of warmth and gratitude wash over him as he watched his father and Lisa talk. Despite the circumstances, he felt lucky to have such caring people in his life.
As they continued to chat, Ryuusei's father turned to him and said, "Ryuusei, I wanted to talk to you about something."
"What is it, Dad?" Ryuusei asked, feeling a sense of apprehension.
"I've been thinking about our relationship lately, and I realize that I haven't been the best father to you," his father said, his tone serious. "I know we've had our differences, but I want you to know that I love you and I'm here for you."
Ryuusei felt a lump form in his throat as he listened to his father's words. It was rare for him to show such vulnerability, and it meant more to Ryuusei than he could express.
"Thank you, Dad," Ryuusei said, his voice choked with emotion. "That means a lot to me."
They sat in silence for a few moments, each lost in their own thoughts. Lisa watched the exchange between them, feeling grateful to witness this moment of reconciliation.
As she stood to leave, she turned to Ryuusei and said, "I'll come back to visit you soon, okay?"
"Thanks, Lisa," Ryuusei said, smiling at her. "You're a good friend."
Lisa nodded, her heart full, and walked out of the room. As she made her way down the hospital corridor, she couldn't help but feel a sense of hope for the future.
As they were having conversations.Shohei and Karin enters the room.
Shohei and Karin exchanged quick glances as they stepped into the room, taking in the tense atmosphere. When Shohei looked up, he saw Ryuusei's father standing in front of him, his face stern and unreadable.
"Father..." Shohei muttered, his voice weak but filled with emotion.
Shohei watched as his father seemed to soften at the sound of his son's voice. Slowly, he took a step forward and placed a hand on Shohei's shoulder.
"I'm sorry," his father said, his voice low and regretful. "I'm sorry for the way I've treated you. I know I haven't been the best father, but I want to make things right. I want to be here for you."
Shohei's eyes filled with tears as he looked up at his father, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. It was a difficult moment, but it was also a turning point. The tension in the room dissipated as father and son shared a moment of reconciliation.
Lisa, Ryuusei and Karin watched the exchange, feeling grateful to be there to witness such a powerful moment. Despite the difficult circumstances, they knew that this was a step in the right direction.
As the father stayed by his side, the group settled into an easy conversation, catching up on old times and discussing the future. In that moment, the past was forgotten and the future seemed full of possibility.
As they talked, Shohei couldn't help but feel a sense of hope for Ryuusei's recovery. With his father by his side and the support of his friends, he knew that Ryuusei would be able to overcome any obstacle that lay in his path.
