A COFFEE STORY
After Christmas

After Christmas

It was a perfect Christmas evening, and Ryuusei had been preparing dinner for hours.

Lisa was the first to arrive, and Ryuusei couldn't help but feel grateful for her help.

"Thank you for coming early, Lisa," Ryuusei said, greeting her at the door.

"No problem, Ryuusei," Lisa replied, smiling. "I'm happy to help."

Together they began setting the table and arranging the decorations, while the aroma of the cooking food filled the room.

Soon after, Ms. Isshiki arrived with a bottle of wine, greeting them both with a warm smile. Ryuusei welcomed her and invited her to take a seat while they waited for the rest of the guests.

A little while later, Lisa's mother, Sagiri Chiharu, arrived with a dish of her own. Ryuusei greeted her with a smile and invited her to sit down. "Thank you for coming," he said, "I'm glad you could make it."

As they chatted, they heard a knock on the door, and Ryuusei went to answer it. It was Miya and Shindou, who had come together, carrying a bottle of champagne. Ryuusei welcomed them warmly and invited them to join the others at the table.

Finally, Karin and Shohei arrived, greeted by the welcoming scent of the delicious meal. They had brought a dessert to share with everyone.

The room was filled with laughter and conversation as they all enjoyed the delicious food and drink. The warmth of the fire and the light of the Christmas tree created a cozy atmosphere, and the sound of cheerful holiday music added to the festive ambiance.

Stolen story; please report.

As the night went on, they all shared stories and jokes, each of them getting to know one another better. Ryuusei was glad to see everyone enjoying themselves, and he felt a deep sense of gratitude for the new friends he had made.

It was a perfect Christmas dinner, filled with warmth, joy, and love. As the night came to a close, Ryuusei thanked everyone for coming and hoped they could do it again next year. They all nodded, with smiles on their faces, feeling grateful for this beautiful evening they had shared together.

Lisa told,’mother I will come a bit late”

Lisa mother accepted that and went to her residence.

Ryuusei and Lisa walked their guests out to their cars, bidding them farewell with warm hugs and promises to do it again soon.

Once they were alone, Ryuusei turned to Lisa and took her hand. "This has been the best Christmas ever," he said, looking into her eyes.

Lisa smiled, her heart overflowing with love. "Yes, it has," she said softly. "Thank you for making it so special."

Ryuusei leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Merry Christmas, Lisa," he whispered.

"Merry Christmas, Ryuusei," she replied, feeling her heart fill with warmth and joy.

Ryuusei and Lisa cleaned up the dinner mess, putting away the dishes and leftovers. As they finished, Ryuusei offered to walk Lisa back to her home. She accepted with a smile, and they stepped out into the chilly winter night.

As Ryuusei and Lisa walked towards Lisa's home, they talked about all the memories they had made throughout the year. Ryuusei couldn't believe that he had only met Lisa a few months ago, yet it felt like they had known each other for years. They talked about their first date, the day they went to the amusement park, and even the time Ryuusei helped Lisa with her part-time job at the cafe.

When they reached Lisa's home, she thanked Ryuusei for walking her back and invited him to a New Year shrine visit on the 31st at 11:30 in the morning. Ryuusei couldn't be happier to spend New Year's Eve with Lisa and agreed to meet her at the shrine.

As Ryuusei was about to say goodbye, he had a sudden surge of courage and decided to propose to Lisa. But he quickly shook the thought off, not wanting to ruin the moment.

"Thanks for today, Ryuusei. I had a lot of fun," Lisa said with a smile.

"Me too. I'm really looking forward to our New Year shrine visit," Ryuusei replied, returning her smile.

As they sat near the playground, Ryuusei and Lisa continued to talk about their plans for the future and the adventures they wanted to go on together. Ryuusei couldn't help but think about how much he loved Lisa and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. But he knew that he had to wait for the right moment to confess his feelings.

Eventually, Ryuusei walked Lisa to her front door and said goodbye. As he walked home, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for what the future held. He was determined to make 2024 the best year yet, starting with his New Year's shrine visit with Lisa.
