As I'd feared.
Whoever's Will those leeches came from, they decided to retaliate. Well, at least one did. Gluttony. Perhaps because he left before I used Parasitic Body and Mind. Maybe if he'd known what awaited him, he wouldn't have done this.
I examine the billions of Origin threads swaying around outside my body. I must look like a huge monster trying to consume the planet. It's funny because it's exactly the opposite. I'm not connecting these with anyone. Instead, I'm currently consuming the many, many, many leeches in everyone's Will. Across the entire planet.
The other 'deadly sins' and 'false virtues,' I suppose I'll call them, didn't leave. I guess they figured I'd be satisfied with saving myself. Or that I wouldn't attack them all at once. Likely because the first one I'd rejected was, well.
Gluttony.
You'd never expect me to turn around and eat you all, would you? No, of course not. Especially Gluttony himself. He dropped so much Will onto my planet. Far more than I got from Justice. In fact, it seems Justice didn't give much at all! Definitely not their entire Will. If this Gluttony can spare so much for one planet, then how much Will must they possess in total?
I finish eating, then begin spooling my Origin threads back into my body.
I watch the process closely.

That shimmering. What's the cause?

It sure is strange how the world behaves in response to my actions.

Was I concerned about an exponent of 87, earlier? Was I? Because now it seems like a joke. What's with this stat inflation? How many damn planets did this deadly sin eat?
I've used Temp along with Aitos' spy inscription to look at the Will stat of many creatures. It seems a Will of 1 is the best of the lot. By that, I mean they all have 1 Will. Nothing more or less.
Even Dracosect—
I look up at Dracosect again, who's still enjoying being big and showy. He slightly poses with pride at my attention. Hreh.
— even he only has a Will of 7.
Gluttony was trying to drown everyone on my planet in sin. Trying to crush my hoard beneath a landslide of hunger. Even Dracosect wouldn't have stood a chance. If I hadn't received Justice's goodwill, perhaps I'd also have been reinfected. I get the sense I'd have been less able to fight it this time around. Raw power can crush everything, after all. There was simply too large of a gap.
The mark of a 'god' is at least parity between Will and physical power, according to what I've learned from the second Deification Token. Godhood requires an evolution of the Will to support this fundamental change. A 'breakthrough' of sorts.
The body can be unfathomably strong.
But, without a strong Will?
It means nothing.
That's why I've become a god long before reaching the physical power of the average Demigod.
Funnily enough, I'm still not at the bodily standard of a Rank 1 god. I should modify my status so it shows my upper limits.

No wonder Gluttony could spare a thousand digits off its Will exponent. If that's the kind of power a Rank 3 god has... Reugh. I'm forced to assume the deadly sins and false virtues possess more. Gluttony likely wastefully plopped all that down here just to make its little disaster happen a bit more quickly.
Even that much external Will can't destroy a mind immediately, which is likely why it didn't go after me a second time. I've determined the leech has to plant desires, thoughts, and expectations. Even Parasite, whom controlled my entire body, had difficulty consuming my Will. So much so that it gave up and tried to flee.
A strong mind, I'm learning, is one of the most powerful weapons imaginable.
Rhm. What then, is Pure Evil?
Or should I ask:
Who?
