Alright, enough freaking him out with my random roaring.
"You may stop, thank you. I shall allow you to become a most valued treasure among my hoard. Do you accept?"
My voice is booming and deep, yet silky smooth and resonant. Not at all like the scratchy, screechy, chaotic nonsense I'd had before. Plus, rather than sounding like it's inside my head, I feel it with my whole body. It's like I'm speaking to 'existence' as opposed to merely 'thoughts.'
He waves his head up and down wildly.
"I ACCEPT, CHRONOMETRIC DRAGON GOD!"
"Rokay, rokay. Calm down. You may call me lord Chronomet. God Chronomet is also acceptable, as I've just become a fully-fledged god thanks to your help. As a favored member of my hoard, and as a compliment for what you've done, I'll give you this set of inscriptions."
I cast my usual inscriptions. They're way stronger now, because I'm so much stronger. Actually, I hope the inscriptions back at the temple didn't suffer a problem because of my Origin evolving to such an extent.
Also, I think... As a god, I should not be only 20 meters. I can alter reality to work around any issues.
I decide to allow my body to expand to 50 meters.
As I grow larger, I notice the insect is also undergoing changes.
Roh, did my inscriptions improve so much? Good.
His antennae fall off as his head's structure changes, his green coloration seeming to, rehm, slide off of him. How odd.
Then the antennae grow out again. They've become blade-like, and slightly thinner than before, though there's only four of them now. His legs become longer, sharper, and their joints thicken. His body then becomes slightly longer, his eyes move down into a less insectoid position, remaining large, but they change from yellow, to reddish, then golden. They gain a very obvious black slit down the center of each.

His armor dramatically changes shape to a form more fitting of a dragon than an insect— particularly the shape of his head. He also grows a... Tail? That's interesting to see on an insect.
His insect wings twist and merge onto their covers, becoming shaped even more like a dragon's wings. The ends of his legs form multi-jointed 'hands' of a sort. His chitinous 'fingers' add claws, and those claws lengthen. His legs then dramatically thicken and shift to allow for a more upright pose.
If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
His lower legs loudly add an extra joint which is, again, very reminiscent of a dragon's leg.
*krak-krak*
His stretched mandibles thicken, then grow huge, sharp teeth. His head grows a bit relative to his body. Then his thorax snaps forward, which pulls him into a fully erect, bipedal position.
*kritch*
Finally, he cracks his head left to right, and—
*krak-krik*
#ROOOOOOAAARRRR#
Am I seeing this? Is this insect's body mimicking that of a dragon?
His wings flit, kneels in midair, on one knee.
"My god, Chronomet. I've evolved closer to my true form thanks to your inscriptions. I've thus changed my name to 'Dracosect.' I hope you find me pleasing."
Abso-freaking-lootly.
"Dang. You've got mean looks. You're nearly as badass as me, Dracosect. Props."
"Ah, my impeccable god, I do not understand?"
Ruh. That was all slang. I felt like I was complimenting photorealistic creature art from my previous world for a moment.
"Your aesthetics are not only to my liking, they put some of my own species to shame. We dragons positively ADORE such prideful and showy forms. I believe you deserve a second reward for following through on your loyalty and pleasing me."
I touch his head.
I use Causal Conduit to funnel some of my own power into his body. It isn't even enough to stop my body's stat growth, which for some reason has kept going despite my evolution being complete. I'll have to figure out where that's coming from. It's not atmospheric Mana, that's for sure. I'd thought it was from my evolution. I guess not?
Dracosect squirms and twitches, but I can feel he's not in any pain. His already sharp draconic features become even more refined; his body likewise expands in size as he absorbs my power.
His dull chitin gains the shiny gleam of polished dragon scales. A series of spikes protrude from his chitin, running from his head down to his tail. His antennae are replaced again, now mimicking a set of dragon horns. He even grows a much larger set of real bladed horns, further completing his dragon aesthetic.
Rowh, he looks amazing!
"Yes. YES! Thank you! Thank you, my god!"
Once he reaches a full 35 meters, almost six times his original size, I slow and then stop the transfer. This is plenty, but I may give him more later. This guy gave up his entire form and identity for me. I like his attitude— a lot.
I also note that his size has changed despite him not being a dragon. Is his internal structure already so close to a dragon that he's growing like one?
"My god... I feel INCREDIBLE!"
"Hreh, you should. You are incredible."
He puffs out his chest pridefully, like a dragon.
I continue speaking.
"I expect you to report to my Chronometric Temple to view both my public sermon and my private draconic ceremony. I'll transfer you near there shortly. However! Remember that whilst you've gained my grand favor, granted power can be taken just as easily."
"Of course, my beloved god! I seek to spread your matchless glory through extolling my own! I, I feel like I MUST expand my hoard, as well!"
He really is like a dragon. Amazing.
"Then go. You'll know where your instincts must lead you once you've seen and digested my sacred teachings."
*bzzzzzst*
He bows to me, on one knee. Again in midair.
He likes doing that, I guess?
I transfer him near my Chronometric Temple. I see him fly right over on my map as I'd hoped. Hreh, he can fly really freakin' fast, even considering his sheer size.
I don't inform anyone, because, I think I've coddled them enough. It's time to see how they handle Dracosect.
Hrehrehreh.
