A boring life leads to a boring reincarnation.. Sometimes a salesman comes inside to show off the ship.
Lets face it. I’m a gloomy dungeon trapped in the body of a ship. I hate to get clean and I'm lousy with company… not to mention I’m one of the smallest ships on the lot.
The idiot salesman thought that if they installed a holoprojector then I would interact more with the customers. That backfired since when I see customers, I still hardly interact with them. A simple wave and I’ll go back to reading manga out of the local library that I downloaded.
To be honest this is the life… sure the ship reminds me of a camper but really I am a single guy… or dungeon not like it matters to me that much. Ah maybe i should tell you. I am mike, a big tough 11 cm dungeon core...yeah it is like that. I mean what can you do.
For those of you who do not know 11cm is 4.3inches im a handful dont let my size fool you.
(flashback or explanation whatever)
One minute you're ticked off with your 15 year old nephew for getting in a fight at school over a silly girl who did not even like him in the first place.
You are so mad that you got called instead of his mother.
Seriously I had things to do i was waiting for the next release of one of my favorite stories. I get called all because he did not want to lose his allowance.
Well honestly It not like i told his mother i just dropped him off at his house and then went to Gamestop to buy a game before going home. Dealing with my sister is difficult i do not even accept calls from her anymore same with my mother.
The next is the normal it is raining outside. you slip on a slick spot on a curb and you just dive under a tire… if only i had been wearing boots instead of silly flipflops. That would never of happened. Remember safety first kids… and take the time to dress properly.
Oh I'm sure you're wondering about me more than a little. Why am i in a scout ship well to be honest i not really sure some reason god said wow look at this foolish mortal let's make him reincarnate into a stone.. or something like that… In case you're wondering It was the God.
The big Holy Trinity. I was all set to go to heaven. had my judgement was about to get my eternal rewards… by the way I was a shitty christian. One of those who got saved got excited then got distracted by earthly desires...I would have gotten a beautiful lean to. no mansion for me. Anyways i was given this chance to go to his other flock. rack up some more heavenly rewards. before the great second coming.
back to the hear and now.
(flashback ends)
We have poker nights, a while back i figured out how to piggyback on some mana lines between me and other ships they come over and we play poker.. actually i do not play i just sit around and listen to them bicker. it is a nice setting.
In case it was not obvious the people coming over to play poker are avatars from other dungeon cores. There in the spaceships also sitting in the lot...
I am one of the old hands on this dealership. most ships are sold in a few weeks they find there new owner and off they go. also people reincarnate from all different timelines except the future. there even different species that reincarnate as a dungeon. I been getting tips from them that i fill in on my electronic diary.
The owner of the dealership come over every once in awhile to bitch at me to make more of an effort to see the stars and such… but Here i am safe on this dealership. I mean really there pirates and such.
there are space wars, i am a small spaceship so duh not interested. not to mention who knows what kind of owner i could get.
I have learned one thing well in my previous life… even the people who pretend to have it together…. Are screwed up, i have never met a normal person. If fact the norms are the one that scare me the most in my previous life.
This is better I'm practically immortal now. If i need maintenance. i take a small maintenance bot out of storage to fix something. which every part i fix i read from a manual. Heh yeah i am an immortal dungeon trapped in a ship. who spends his days reading manga. everything else is too troublesome.
So the planet i am sitting on is called helionova. Its bigger than earth by a little bit and the gravity is 1.3 the gravity of earth… To be honest there star charts to show where earth is. But my death was long ago so why worry about it.
Many of these dungeons are super excited to absorb mana power. My poker games are games of chance where they bet mp high bets are only allowed in the hundreds nothing more. for hosting it cost only 10 mp per each dungeon conscious/ i hold in my ship.
i also have holo projector poker games outside my hold. around my ship for when the big games happen. this normally happens after a ship get sold.
the other thing i do to gather mp is i made some really classy tiki torches. these absorb this planet's ambient mana. there really just lightning rods cost 4 mp to make than 3 mp for the extension cords an additional two mp to make them look like tiki torches.
i have my bot place them and connect them to the ship after all the employees leave the dealership at night. it really brings out the mood for the poker games. I have the bot clean up on timers sorta like a auto alarm function on a old cell phone.
Stolen novel; please report.
The card dealer is a app i paid a few mp to get ahold of and sense i really can not program. And if someone tries to mess with your programming you can feel it. My games are called safe. meaning no fixed games.
To be honest I actually have no ideal how to controll mana.
yeah i am a dungeon but it not like the knowledge is gifted to you. I use mana like a food source and also like a battery for other stuff. nothing more I am completely dependent on technology.
Oh also on my ship is the ship's AI she kinda like my warden or keeper. but she an idiot a real true idiot. As long as i do not try to kill anyone or try to run away by warming up the ship's engines other than to start them on their maintenance cycles which i let her do anyways we really do not interact with each other.
My little recruit class scout ship has one of the lowest AI of all the ships on the lot… Believe it or not it was decided to be cheap for two reasons.. my awesome personality and the fact that i can't hack the chains that keep me from becoming anything more then this odd ball dungeon that i am.
Let's see I am parked on the southwest corner. Right next to the employee parking lot. so by the back fence. Sometimes i join the employees for their lunch at the picnic table they have there i know them all.
Sometimes i see a dungeon tamer come by to drop off dungeon cores. To be honest i hate that bitch. she tried to enslave me. I mean i had just opened my eyes for the first time as a dungeon and i see that bitch reaching out to grab me like i was some kinda candy. toss me in a dark bag. I wake up in her apartment with hardly any mp left and she tries to correct my behavior… what is this shit she did not even know who i was.
She just a slaver and a criminal in my mind. I never even broke a law in my past life. Well I was a soldier in the american army. According to democrats being a soldier was a automatic criminal offence and being willing to carry a gun. ment there was a mental instability… i always thought they were crazies myself But those guys hated anything to do with the american founding fathers and wanted america to turn into a government run just like when stalin was in power.
The owner got mad at me when i kept insulting her. She threatened to take my tiki torches away and give them to the next ship that sold…. I rather like them so i stopped. Sure i could have kept going but insulting someone does not actually make me feel better. besides My insults are pretty repetitive and kinda boring. I never really enjoyed insulting someone i always wanted to just destroy them and move on. Anyways i am a untamed dungeon core. So i get sold cheaper once they find a buyer.
Okay let's talk about my cost I'm a problem child core So i will be sold for 21k My ship is the smallest so i'll only get 5k for that plus with the additions of my holoprojector i'll gather an additional 2k bringing my cost at the lowest bid for around 28k I'm a pretty cheap model… Now why am i am not being sold… the reason is very very simple There only enough room for three people on my ship. and only one tiny bathroom these rooms are nothing more than cubbie holes.
the kitchenette is so tiny that a small human would hit their elbows every time they breathed… now mind you while i did not install myself into this ship i did have some influence on the insides once i got in before i was in this ship it was much more spacious but i made crew quarters a lot smaller. and gave myself very large holding tanks. When your the base model and this uncomfortable you're not going to get sold. it is not like i was the only base model however i was the only one to do this to crew quarters.
I actually supposed to be an Explorer type recruit ship but since i changed the insides i guess i would be a tiny cargo type Recruitship for holding liquids.
just think of me as a dairy tanker ship hahaha like those dairy trucks.
Cargo would actually be the largest recruit ship. next is research, then explorer and finally fighter recruit ship.explorer is slightly larger by a few feet then a fighter and has more sensors and showers bed for a crew of six to eight with a kitchen.
a fighter from the ones i saw normally have crew of three they can be bigger but a crew of three a kitchen a little bigger than what my crew has and lots of weapons. they also carry mines and when they get larger can carry squads teams and such like that.
think of them as a swat truck the next step would be a countryside police station for each of their upgrades that the best analogy i can give you.
I just celebrated my 4th year of laziness. I been playing starcraft from the twenty first century with the ai as a opponent. I'll be honest Starcraft does not exist anymore. I had to post on the internet that i missed this game and the newer games where just too different from my favorite old game some other resurrected soul offered to remake the game for me if i would broker off 2000 mp on a mana-crystal.
Unfortunately as a ship I can not have a bank account as of yet.. My next owner needs to set one up for me. This actually took me over a year to gather… I found out he could do more programming than just that however. So the cost went up when he kept offering additions to the game that i could use. He was a city dungeon so luckily while i was sitting on the lot. he never moved away.
Anyways I am currently goofing off playing against the ship Ai. I'll be honest she is a idiot but once she understood the rules she a difficult opponent to beat. She an idiot AI for this world but for the old 21st century she still smarter than many of the people i dealt with. I also love this game but i am not a brilliant tactician and am currently losing to her.
Anyways With the starcraft game i actually bought a few additional upgrades. Three so far there are a total of 13 upgrades from that guy. My first upgrade i bought a mana infusion drone that looked and was programmed to behave in a similar fashion as the scvs in starcraft.
this drone was only 2 ½ feet tall not very tall. it could create building that resemble and function just like those in starcraft for the terran race. each building would have it own function. these building would only be the size of a treadmill for a barrack and a dining room table for a command center.
Unfortunately i could only build these building in a dungeon when exploring or my ship. there was also an ai that was to be installed into the command center once it is built. however I rather hope that the ship's ai would piggyback into the dungeon and run the back half once i got started.
The good thing about the terran buildings if you remember the game is they could lift off and travel slowly to a new destination. if i was smart i could slowly build them up and send them in. This protects that creation scv that cost me so much and i can not reproduce.
The second upgrade i purchased. Was a exterior dungeon field. Think yugioh when they did those battles in the card stadium.
The only problem with this field was that it used up so much mp. I actually had to build and adapt those tiki torches a little to where they looked like those medium cement blocks with solar panels on the outside.
these powered the dungeon field, so me and other ships could battle. once the battle was over both their ship and my ship would send out bots to load the blocks back into the hold of my ship.
while others enjoyed playing and spectating unfortunately it was to time and mp intensive. for other to want to have there own set up. was like buying a new care for a small income earner. not to mention the medium block took a lot of room in the hold.
I imagine that this game would have a fan base much like the lawn mower races would have on espn not a very big fan base but while it was going on others would have fun.
The last purchase i made Was really a hover wheelchair. it actually was not a small wheelchair. however it had lots of functions. for instance who ever sat in it could command the game forces just like you would on the old desktop cpus.
You could switch which kind of battlefield you were in. Simulation, dungeon field, wolrd warfare. it had a physical switch on it that you had to turn.
In world warfare which could only be used inside my own ship and inside a dungeon. The terran forces would view all demons as enemies to capture or destroy. it treated the wheelchair now called the ark as a titan as well as any allied forces as allied titans.
very simple. Sense i bought the terran side. when the barracks built the soldiers that were created are only 3 ½ feet tall. there weapons shot taser, lasers and slugs. the weapons they carried looked like children's toys and they made me think of garden gnomes.
they were just small robots however. Only in world warfare would actually robots be built. the other two modes where projections one inside that exterior dungeon field and one just on the screens that reside inside the hoverchair.
on the outside of the hover chair where small cupboards. inside you could stake a few marines robots or scvs but nothing else on the backside was a small healing station and a mana shield generator. incase one of the ship's crew where to get damaged while battling. there was also a simple mini fridge stationed just under the seat.
if i do say so i think i did a wonderful job with this order.
