They were thrown into a dark room. Their was a faint bulb lit inside their. With the dim light someone could observe the multitude of cobwebs filling up the corners of the rooms. Dry rodent droppings were scattered on the floor. The floor was cool. Their were few mats, about five of them placed near the long metal poles. Each one of them faced the wall. Their hands were chained on metal poles. They all sat down on the floor.

Ella was crying. Something that Tearless never liked to see. Though Tearless had cried almost every tear in his eyes that he became immune to sorrow, he never helped to see Ella cry. Ella had become part of him. And he could never allow sorrow to take her away from him. He whispered her name. In the dim light Ella saw him smile and nod. He then frowned and shaked his head. Ella understood what he meant.

Why did he use gestures? When they got there they were ordered not to talk to each other. If they did so. Then they would be denied food and be tortured physically. They would die in their. Where is the place? They asked themselves silently. Where are we? And why are we here? Why did they come for us? All those questions ran across Tearless mind.

Time went by and someone came in carrying a lamp and trays full of food. Another one was carrying a whip. They were all untied one hand. They ate greedily as they were extremely hungry.

"Stop! Do you agree with my offer?" a masked man carrying a whip shouted.

Tearless could recognize the voice but his memory couldn't tell who he was. On seeing no response the man walked up to Thesis.

Thesis was a middle aged man perhaps thirty five years of age, though he looked much older due to high consumption of liquor. Everywhere he was there was a smell of wine. Even at the moment he had already taken wine. How he sneaked it their was not known. The masked man slapped him and pulled his long beard. He groaned painfully. He fisted him on his stomach. Thesis bent in pain.

On seeing that Thesis would be hurt so much, Tearless decided to declare himself a leader. The masked man left Thesis for him. Little did he know that Thesis, who was a kind of mad scientist, was the real owner. Tearless at once became angry when he saw the masked man wanting to forcefully kiss Ella.

"You coward, why are you hiding your face? If you are a man enough untie me," he shouted.

The guards were called they beat him up giving scars to his face. But Tearless stood firm on the ground. He had become immune to pain. He never had a sweet past but had never thought of revenge.

With his untied hand he fisted one of the guards into the eyes. The guard screamed painfully as blood came out of his eyes. He had lost his eyes and job. He became useless in a single moment. The other guards rushed outside with him. Tearless was disappointed in himself by hurting him.

The masked man had found out his weakness. He began whipping Ella. Thesis accepted the offer but what was the offer?

Adolf Rudolf campaign was sponsored by a terror group which pretended to be a non-profit organization. President Adolf was one of the members of the group. The group was thirsty for revenge of the relatives they lost during the Civil War that took away Adolf's parents. A Civil War that saw the rebels win. He wanted a good weapon. A weapon that was able to neutralize even nuclear weapons. One of his advisors told him to seek help from the Elite Scientists team.

The next day he flew from Yolk City to Enkare. He was eager to meet this team. He got to their headquarters accompanied by a long motorcade of security men.

That day, Thesis was the only one who was still in the office. All the others had gone for a weak. He stormed the office without even knocking the door. Thesis was irritated with this. How could such a man who has received lots of appreciation be ill mannered? Praises change the way someone views the world and power alters morals in someone. The genius middle aged professor was sitting on his usual desk. A small bottle of liquor on his right hand and a stylus on his left hand. He faced his computer and seemed to be scribbling some drawings on the screen.

The president was upset as the man did not notice him. In every office he had entered, everyone stood up and some even bowed to show him great respect. He hit the table. Thesis with a soft voice replied to his violence. He asked him for how he could help him. This to Adolf appeared as lowering his status.

He had expected a reply like, "what do you want?"

"I want you to make us a powerful weapon. We want to take over the whole world. If I manage then you'll be in my council," He said angrily.

"Are you out of your mind? Do you think we are here to scare humans? " Thesis said lighting some alcohol in his mouth and blowing it into the air.

Adolf had no room for negotiations. He left Thesis with a small address note to send his reply. Thesis never waited for them to go away. How could he kill the fellow human beings out of greed? They said being drunk made people poor in judgment but for him it stimulated his brain cells making him think very well. He was one of the chosen few. He wrote them a big NO to their offer.

President Adolf came back in rage. He told him that he had hours to accept the offer. Thesis never cared for threats had become part of his life. In the evening when they all sat and began to tell each other of how their day was.

Before Thesis could tell them of what happened in the office where they had gone, masked men came and injected them with tranquilizers. When they woke up they found themselves in the dark room.

Thesis accepted the offer. The Elite Scientists would then be involved in unscrupulous activities. Killing of innocent people and causing mayhem in their peaceful world.

What could they have done? The men were powerful and could not let them escape. The only way to get out of ransom was to accept the offer. They would plan their next move once out of there.

The president came. Tearless was still angered by the masked man. He wanted to fight. Seeing that he was angry, Adolf handed him a gun. Tearless pointed the gun at the criminal but he could not shoot him.

"Let me show you!" Thesis took the gun. He pointed it to the masked man's head. All the three bullets ended up in his head. His lifeless body fell down with a big thud. Tearless never liked it but he could not express it to his master. They removed the mask. It was someone they knew very well?
