Inside Eno’s apartment, the windows let in the simulated daylight of morning. His wearable monitor determined his sleep session has ended.
*Blink*
The room gradually fills with daylight.
*Blink*
Sleepy eyes takin the room around him.
The bed feels warm. The room smells of clean linen, floral, cedar.
There is a slight vibration behind Eno’s ear letting him know that morning has come.
His monitor notifying him that he has completed his full sleep cycle and now should be ready to face the day.
The room is moderate sized with enough space for a bed, a workstation, and an exercise station. There are windows on all four walls now letting in the light of morning. He can hear the birds chirping.
Eno wakes slowly, not quite ready to get out of bed. With his right hand outstretched he reaches for his screen and grabs it from its dock. His touch wakes the device and begins projecting onto the low ceiling above. He checks his notifications then moves on to check the news cycle and media.
With a slow groan, Eno slides his body the side of the bed. He feels rested. His feet touch the ground. The floor is soft and gives slightly as he transfers his weight from the bed to one foot, then the second. He stands with a stretch and walks to the end of his bed, not ready begin his shower just yet. Media is still playing short clips of content. Now it’s playing a recommended workout from “Energy and Joy.” Eno sits down in his chair and prepares a coffee.
