This fiction is set right before a war breaks out involving the entire region.  Expect elements from both the mainstream games as well as elements from other pokemon franchises. Warning: This story uses a mix of xianxia elements and litrpg elements to expand on pokemons levelling system. Nothing very extreme however. Unfortunately he is born within a lab and genetically experimented on by a Beheeyem (the alien pokemon), he seems destined to live a life born within a lab that ends early within a lab. Fortunately a Alakazam liberates him, but in order to catch his master he diverts its teleport move onto him, sending him to a tundra area in a unknown region. Does it sound interesting?
