Ziffrit frowned while discarding the meat from the pan. It became...a charcoal meat. He forgot to turn off the heat! Well, the pan didn't need a stove so...
Ziffrit sighed. He looked at the four nail-sized crystal that was merged on the thick iron—well not iron—mithril body of the pan. They are placed near the long and big handle. Heat was still rising from the surface of the pan. He pushed the first crystal, the translucent one. The temperature of the pan's surface immediately dropped to a room's temperature.
Ziffrit raised his brows in amazement. The button was for different intensity of heat you want for your pan.
Ziffrit stared at the black grime and left burnt flakes. He wondered what a burnt Wyvern taste like. The Dragon was always eating his food raw, so he doesn't have an idea.
He pinched some of it then tossed it in his mouth. He chewed.
Ziffrit made a face.
“Pah!...it's bitter.”
Of course it was bitter. Someone with a good sense of thinking will probably had already smacked the back of Ziffrit's head. But you cannot possibly find some Wyvern meat being sold at a local market, right? Tasting it in a different 'form' is just fine.
Ziffrit pointed at the empty air just above his waist.
“[ Wind Platform ]”
The air rippled on the part where Ziffrit had pointed. He lay the half meter long cabbage leaf above.
As expected, it floated. But in fact, the compressed air served as a chopping board...is it chopping wind then?...Chopping wind-board?
Ziffrit shook his head. He raised the dagger and started chopping.

Ziffrit looked up at the sun. It was probably 1:30 pm right now. He was eating the sauteed cabbage and Wyvern's meat that was sprinkled by a bit of salt—Actually, it was a fistful of salt. He just noticed a moment ago that the salt he was using was no ordinary salt.
It was MSG!
He didn't know if MSG is being produce in this world, but it looks just like the MSG from Earth. The one he just used was more tasty though. Like, 50 percent tasty! He forked a mouthful of vegetables and meat from the golden plate.
“Mhhmmm!”
Ziffrit groaned in satisfaction. He was not getting full because of a skill, but he still have an appetite food. So, it's a win.
Camping must be nice. Sipping hot broth in the cold breeze...
——.
A small and scrawny figure was swiping at the branches of trees. It's green skin blended with the bushes and the grassy plain. It's pointed ears and eyes glowed red.
It was a goblin.
The goblin patted his empty stomach. He was lost! And hungry! Again, the goblin surveyed the ground, under the tree roots, inside a bush, and up the trees. There was no food!
The goblin was wobbling now. The hunger was taking a toll on his body. But he continued, walking towards and under the trees.
The goblin halted from it's step. He squinted his eyes from the distance. A massive boulder was sitting above the gently sloped hill. Smoke was rising from it.
The goblin's face lightened up. Smoke means goblins! Or Humans! He ran, forgetting about his weak state. He reached the gently sloping hill and saw a...man. Eating with shiny tools. The goblin sniffed the wafting aroma.
Food!
The goblin's loincloth fluttered as he ran towards the man. It noticed him and awkwardly recoiled. The goblin stopped and stared at the Human. He patted the side of his waist—
The goblin froze. He blinked at his target. He had dropped his knife! His precious knife!
Humans are weak. But the goblin was not someone who will not use a weapon against any enemy if possible. He stepped back—
“Hey!”
The goblin flinched. The human was just several meters from the goblin. Again, he backed up several steps when the human shouted again.
“Hey! Wait!”
The goblin shuddered. He moved his legs...Huh? What!? He cannot move his body! The goblin looked at the human, fear and panic surfaced on his green face.
The human strode across the gently sloped hill while waving the sizzling circular metal at him. He reached the the goblin then lowered the thing he was holding. The goblin moved his eyes to the contents of it. His eyes widened.
“You want some, buddy?”
Food! Is he talking about food? The goblin didn't know, he can't understand human mouth. If he's giving food...
Receiving it from a human is a bit suspicious. He rolled his eyes upwards and saw the hopeful look on the human face. The goblin decided and tried to nod, then realized he cannot move from his place. His mind froze. No! I'm gonna die--
Growl~
The sound was like a music for his ears. Not like the goblin was aware of what music is though. The goblin's was numb and control over his body. But the natural body reactions still works. He didn't even notice the drool coming out from his mouth.
The suspicious human was looking down on him, beaming.
"That's good to hear."
The goblin did not understand.
