A Dragon sat on his domain. A cave, dimly illuminated by glowing stones, radiates an ominous sight.
A knight in a shining, full plate armor, took a stance in the middle of the massive hall, facing the Dragon.
The Knight was craning his head upwards, glaring at the Dragon. His gauntleted hands brandishes a sword.
The Dragon was a massive, 5-storey tall behemoth. It's jet-black body gleamed from the blue moonlight escaping from the cealing.
“D-Die you Evil Dragon!”
The knight was shaking. His grip weak on the sword.
The behemoth drew a breath. The Dragon saw the man stagger, but quickly recovered.
A fist-sized blazed appeared in front the Dragon's mouth. The Dragon opened it's maws and blew, setting the exhaled gas ablazed. Black, scorching flame, blasted the jade floor in front of the man.
The knight jumped away from the blast. Well, that attack didn't meant to hit him in the first place, anyways.
“Begone, you pes—!”
“Surrender Evil Dra—!”
They stared at each other in silence.
“I didn't kil—”
“Pay for your s—!”
A pause. The Dragon tiredly sighed then raised a claw.
“Silence, you donkey.”
A silence spell slapped the man. He stiffened. This silly knight.
Ziffrit the Dragon hurriedly cast another spell, paralyzing the man. You know, just to be sure.
“Now I can speak.”
The man fell on the ground. He was looking at the him desperately behind his visor.
The knight was blaming Ziffrit a moment ago, saying that he killed his friends. They just fainted at the sheer force of the aura that the Dragon had. Logically, it was Ziffrit's fault. They didn't even got to step into the hall where Ziffrit resides. The dragon shook his head then took a deep breath.
“Listen you fool.”
He looked the man on the ground and took a deep breath.
“I did not kill your subordinates!”
The enchanted cave walls shook. He intentionally shouted, just to scare the man off his wits. The Dragon saw the man's body twitch despite the paralyzing spell.
He was quite satisfied by that.
Since coming to this world three days ago, Ziffrit was constantly hunted by different people—heroes, mages, great warriors, adventurers—everyday declaring to get fame, wealth or peace. He was just a normie from Earth and Ziffrit was now controlling this dragon body.

But everytime—well, every hour— someone barge in into the cave, they always declare that they will deafeat him—'The Mighty Evil Dragon'.
Ziffrit just paralyzed all of them then teleported after. They're lucky that the one who owns the Dragon's body now was just him.
Ziffrit became afraid to go outside. Just after waking up to the Dragon's body, a warrior suddenly appeared and came slashing at his scales while occasionally throwing some magic.
The battle went—'Boom, Pow, Crash, BOOM!, Crash, Woosh?, CRACK!'—and it was done.
In that case, if many people loath this 'The Mighty Evil Dragon', then what will happen if some normal dude controlled it and flew outside, huh? Maybe for some people, it will be cool and epic. But for Ziffrit? No thank you.
Probably the moment he stepped his foot outside the dragon's lair, several city or maybe the whole world will bombard this 'The Mighty Evil Dragon' with their most powerful seige weapons.
This person on the ground was one of them idiots. Trying to kill him, or more practically, the Dragon. The knight was the weakest from the intruders that Ziffrit had met though.
He raised a claw and summoned a portal gate. It tore through space. On the other side, two people laid on the ground.
The dim lighting aided the knight to see his unconcious comrades. Those two collapsed from the sheer force of Ziffrit's prescense before even entering the main hallway.
The knight's eyes widened. His finger twitched.
The Dragon noticed. And then, he straighten his spiny back even more.
“I will offer some help then you will leave this place. Don't you ever come back. I can easily kill you, you know.”
The Dragon mentally grinned. Intimidating intruders was a bit fun.
Ziffrit scratched one of his evil looking horns. It's form alone can pierce deep into the soul of a mere mortal.
“Damn. Just leave me alone...”
The Dragon mumbled. He pointed at the corpses beyond the gate, and hovered them besides the knight. Ziffrit cast a great healing spell to the bodies. A brief glow
embraced the two.
The mage-looking females jerked their eyes, jolting upright in unison. They gasped for air—
And saw the Dragon.
Their eyes almost fell out of their sockets.
Thud
The two fainted. Ziffrit nearly laughed. Instead, he just silently chuckled.
“That's quite funny.”
He already suppressed his aura a while ago!
Well... Ziffrit could not fault them for that. Even he, a human from Earth. With Dragons only as a myth and legend, will faint from the oppresing sight.
Ziffrit sighed. The current shifted the bodies on the ground.
“I will teleport you guys outside. I think they're just fallen asleep.”
He gestured at the two females with his wing. Ziffrit blinked and shift his attention to the three of them.
Hmm...
He looked at the hoard of treasures, piled behind his back. Different stuffs, each with unique elements and power. They gleamed with the piles of golds. Behind the loot sat a nasty-looking metal gate. The Dragon bent his body and reached for the artifacts.
A sword. It's blade made of everfreezing ice. An aura of freezing temperature produced flakes of frost at the Dragons claw.
The sword hovered in front of the knight, landing in front of his face. Cold radiance entered the slits of his helm.
“[ Lesser Teleport ]!”
The Dragon roared. Shaking the towering bookshelves besides the walls. And—
Pop!
The three disappeared with the sword.
——.
Ziffrit massaged his temples. He was mentally exhausted.
It was morning now. The gentle streaks of light entered the hole above the cave.
And fortunately, the three invaders didn't came back. The ceaseless surge of invaders had stopped several hours ago.
He was pacing above his throne. Well, Ziffrit called it a throne, but it was just an erected dirt. He will remodel that later. More importantly, he needed to escape his current situation.
Ziffrit was thinking and sorting out all the spells he knew from the dragon's mind. Then he stopped.
“[ Greater Time Voyage ]...”
He mumbled the intriguing spell he found. The question is if it can help.
The memory of the spell being used was nowhere to be found. But he needs to try this out.
“Time Voyage, huh...”
Ziffrit put his human hands on his human chin. Oh yeah, he can transform to a human form now. Buck naked.
He had now time to explore more about his skills and spells this morning. Compared from an hourly assault by some jerks from the past three days.
He surveyed his domain and focused at the treasures and books. Ziffrit guessed the dragon had obtained it...from destroying cities...slaying Kings...sacrificing princesses...
That's horrible. Ziffrit shook his head. It was the 25th try of his spell testing this morning. He didn't had the time to explore spells that he knew from the dragon's memory. He hoped the spell will help.
He reverted to the dragon form, just to be sure, and position himself in the middle of his throne.
He closed his eyes and concentrated. Ziffrit wondered what reaction would a certain friend of him will make if he saw Ziffrit's new body.
He chuckled to himself. But immediately retained his concentration.
“[ GREATER TIME VOYAGE ]!”
He roared enthusiastically. The cave trembled.
“—HELL YEAAAHH!”
Apparently, you can say whatever you want while casting. Because thinking about it was enough to draw the desired spell.
Ziffrit felt his mana rushing out from his body. He became concerned, but the feeling immediately ceased, mush to his relief. His mind became a bit hazy.
Ziffrit slowly cracked his serpent eyes open and saw a massive magic circle. It's intricate strokes of lines and symbols glowed red. The circle overlaps the ground.
“Whoa...”
It glowed. Drowning the illumination of the crystals above.
The light suddenly become overwhelming, he was forced to shut his eyes.
Gah!
Ziffrit's body shuddered. A sharp pain pierced his Dragon brain.
His scarlet eyes rolled above of his head. And then—
He fainted.
