As Enki completed his vow, his irises began to glow the color of seafoam and his chest began emitting a gentle green light that formed into the symbol for Aquarius. The light flowed over Enki and Inanna's bodies enveloping them in a cool embrace.
"Father, what is happening?" Innana whispered, the panic evident in her voice.
"Quiet your mind and find your peace. This light will not harm you. Try to observe it, feel it, and sense it," Enki instructed.
Just as she had practiced every night for seven years Inanna calmed her mind and slipped into a meditative state. Enki nodded in approval. Inanna had always had a talent for cultivation, but even still, he was quite pleased with her ability to compose herself so quickly.
"Now tell me, does this light remind you of anything," Enki inquired.
"It feels like a cool breeze flowing through my leaves and swaying my branches," Inanna replied contentedly.
Enki smiled wide and continued his lesson, "Yes, very good! A cool breeze is quite an apt description for a gentle wind. So, since you've already observed it, and now you've been able to feel it, tell me, can you sense it?"
"I... I don't think I can," Innana said with a hint of unwillingness.
Enki frowned with worry, but he encouraged Inanna, "Don't give up. How do you intend to sail upon destiny's surface with so little resolve? Never give in to failure. There is always a way, you only have to focus your mind and find the answer. Remember, if you can perceive it, you can sense it. You've already seen its form, and now you know its touch. So, tell me, how do you imagine its face?"
Innana tried to imagine the shape of the wind around her, but all she saw was a breeze rippling off a river's surface. Once again, her visualization had failed. She decided to try something different. She tried to merge how the wind felt and how she imagined it into one cohesive whole, but when she did that, she realized that her perspective had changed. She looked down and saw a body covered in white plumage. Wait, she could look down? What was happening to her? She tried to test more of the functions of this strange body and to her surprise, she could move her legs and even her wings, and it didn't feel foreign to her at all! It was second nature for her! Inanna made haste towards the river while nodding her head to stabilize her vision. Once she got there, she sought her reflection on the mirror-like surface of the water. What greeted her was the image of a heavenly little dove. This was such an incredibly strange experience, and yet, for some reason, she didn't feel any panic. She only felt an incredible urge, an incredible yearning, to soar into the heavens. And every time the wind flowed over her; the urge only grew stronger. She spread her wings wide to try to catch the breeze, and to her amazement, she felt the difference in flow around her wings trying to lift her off the ground. Somehow, she knew, that she only needed to jump for the wind to carry her the rest of the way. Her pulse quickened at the thought. It was so, exhilarating! She wanted to fly! Every muscle in her body told her the skies were her domain, take to them.

"So, how do you feel?" Enki's voice shook her from her trance.
"I can sense it. I can definitely sense it, father," Innana panted.
That was so real, what in the world just happened to me, she contemplated.
The pent-up anxiety in Enki's heart dispersed. What had taken her so long to answer? Had she kept him in suspense on purpose?
Thank the heavens, I have no idea what I would've done if she failed at the first hurdle. I swear this girl is going to wear my heart out with stress, he thought to himself.
"Tell me, child, what form did the wind take for you," Enki asked curiously.
"It's not the wind that took form, father, it was me! I was the most gorgeous little dove, and I had this insane yearning to soar amongst the clouds. I felt the wind flowing around my feathers. I felt, I felt... quite pleasant."
Enki was stunned for a moment until he began to choke on a laugh. "You said a dove," he questioned.
"Yes, a dove," Inanna confirmed.
Enki struggled to control himself, "Having an elemental aspect is indeed," he snorted with laughter, "quite pleasant. So pleasant, in fact, that many would snuff your life out right now to prevent you from growing into a threat." Enki, ironically, hooted with laughter.
Inanna was shocked by her father's revelation. "It's that dangerous," she asked worriedly.
"Actually, more so," Enki replied in a rather dismissive manner as he recomposed himself. "You're more impressive than even I could've imagined. But this is good. The more power and potential you have the more tools you'll have at your disposal to preserve your life when I am unable to protect you."
"How... what does it mean," Inanna fretted.
"Well, it means that you don't have to worry too much about your destiny as you appear to be in the law's good graces," Enki jibed.
"Can you please just explain things simply father," Inanna pleaded.
"Fine, killjoy," Enki rolled his eyes at her, "in layman's terms, having an elemental aspect is like destiny giving you a very leading hint to the answer to a very difficult question. Its destiny showing you the image of one of your divine runes. It hasn't told you whether it's the first, the hundredth, or even the millionth rune but one of them will definitely be a dove. When most people sense an element, they usually see that element transform into a form that their mind can better comprehend and study. Very few people transform into a different form that can better comprehend the element as it exists in nature. That is what it means to have an elemental aspect. You are truly blessed by fate, and you are beloved by the air element."
