Enki loosened his demeanor and the tense atmosphere along with it.
"Now," he continued with a lighter tone, "the final, and most important chakra point is the crown chakra point. Crown chakra connects the mind to the soul and allows us to gain insight into our true selves. Normally, it is only with crown chakra that we can decipher our true paths in life and etch them in the shape of our divine runes. You, however, with your elemental aspect, are one of the special exceptions to this rule, as fate has already provided you a design to follow if you are capable of fully understanding it by the time you are ready to make your etching. Any magician that has unlocked their crown chakra point can be considered half-divine, or a demigod as I stated earlier. A demigod is at a transitional phase or boundary layer. This means that increasing your chakra will not enable you to advance. Instead, you must prove that you are worthy of ascending to a higher state of being. All transitional phases are threefold processes. First, you must cultivate until you can no longer take in any worldly energy. This means that you must fill your chakra points with chakra. Second, you must survive the tribulations of body and mind from two of the existential laws. Third, you must manifest your soul’s individuality by creating a unique path to understanding the existential laws. As a demigod, this path will manifest as your divine rune. Only once you have completed all three steps of the transitional phase will your worldly energy convert to divine energy indicating your ascension into the divine realm."
"I understand father. So, when I reach the divine realm, how long do you think it’ll take until I can catch up to you in the celestial realm?" Inanna questioned.
Enki stroked his chin through his beard while he smirked at his daughter. "Don't you think you're getting a little ahead of yourself, brat? You've only just contacted your heart chakra point. You haven't even filled it with chakra, and yet here you are already thinking of surpassing your father," he teased.

“It’s not that I want to surpass you father, I just want to be able to meet you again,” Inanna mumbled.
Enki froze.
How long has she known, he thought to himself.
"Oh? You think you’ll be getting free of me, huh? What makes you think you can escape your father so easily,” Enki said with an unconvincing laugh.
“Father, I may be young, but I’m not stupid. You’ve already told me you plan to follow this river down past the underworld to the lowest ninth plane. Did you truly think I didn’t understand the implication of such a journey? Did you truly think I didn’t see the sadness in your eyes when you spoke of your exile? I may not comprehend everything that journey entails, but I know at least one thing. You would never allow me to follow you to such a place. You have shown me more love and care tonight than you have in all our years together. You have started me on the path of cultivation, and even though the night has long since been upon us you have continued to impart your wisdom to me. So, tell me, how much time do we have left together?” Inanna asked glumly.
Enki felt his heart drop into the pit of his stomach. His shoulder slumped and he stared down at his feet as if he was a child that had been caught in a lie. “We don’t have much time left. A few days at most,” he choked out.
“Father,” Inanna began, “thank you for all that you’ve done for me. I know that I have no right to ask more from you, but there is a promise I must have from you.”
Enki felt like he could barely breathe. “And what promise would you have from me?” He croaked.
“The promise that we will meet again,” Inanna quietly pleaded.
Enki trembled as he felt the sting of tears in his eyes. “I promise child, we will meet again,” he vowed while thinking to himself, In this life or the next.
