Saria was still standing in the yard, shaking. She found that she couldn’t move no matter how bad she wanted to or needed to. Her body was shivering now, each breeze only made her condition worse. Even if someone saw her at this point, she wouldn’t be able to do anything, though that’d be impossible with her previous preparations.
Suddenly she came to attention again, the sky turned from night to day and the moon opened up the heavens. Spiritfawn elegantly hovered down onto the ground, level with Saria. Spiritfawn had taken on a human form this time. Her height was short, coming up around halfway of Saria. Her hair glowed a bright blue, dreamily floating around in separate sections, and wore a complex dress with a set on antlers in her hair.
Saria dropped to her knees in fear, still shaking and trying to hide any panicked screams. Spiritfawn only watched silently. Her eyes drooped down as she softly ran a comforting hand on Saria’s head. Saria’s fear was interrupted with confusion. Silently, Spiritfawn continued to softly comfort her until she eventually calmed down.
“H-How? I-I had him on that bus. I saw him the entire time!” Saria whimpered, “That’s not fair! You’re a cheater, how am I supposed to beat you if your stats are so high—!?“
“Saria...do you believe all men are created equal? That each and every person has equal opportunity to accomplish their goals and dreams? No matter what the situation?”
“I...yes, all men are created equal” The self proclaimed goddess sniveled “I want to trust in a principal like that, that’s why I fight; to keep that rule alive”
“Is that why you want to kill me, Saria? Is it because you’re dissatisfied with the world I have created? I used to be naive like you, but it became apparently obvious..No one is created equal. Certain people are better tied to certain things, weather it’s your dream or not is irrelevant. If one wants for things they’ll never have, what would be the point of life? And if one has things they never want, they are nothing but trash”
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
Spiritfawn waited for sometime before continuing, leaving Saria in suspense as to weather or not she’d be killed.
“You’re going to take my children and use them to defeat me, or I’m going to take my children and use them to defeat the Volcano Dragon, ending god and creating a world in which all men are equal. However you accomplish your goal is up to you, in fact I welcome it. Use whatever cunning you have at your disposal, just as you have been, abandon your morals and sacrifice your friends and family for this little game we have. I won’t do anything you can’t do, apologies for wanting to see my son before you take him away forever. Do whatever it takes to win, and we’ll let fate decide who is right”
Spiritfawn pulled away from Saria and walked away in the darkness. The ground she walked on was set ablaze with life and blue particles as they circled around her.
“Oh, and Saria?” Spiritfawn called out. Saria came to attention, shaken again after she had just recovered.
“Yes, Airya?”
“There’s no need to be scared y’know. If I wanted to kill you I would’ve done it”
And in a flash of black Spiritfawn, or rather Airya, was gone. And Saria was left in the dark of the night to get back however she possibly could. After a few deep breaths she focused and her eyes narrowed. Saria reached down into one of the pockets of her jacket and pulled out a flip phone made of glass with various accessories and additions to it. Just as soon and she opened the phone a high pitched girl began to read out an advertisement,

Saria scrolled through all her contacts until she reached one called Navi and pressed the call button.
“Hey Navi” Saria let off a smirk, “Get me back home, everything’s going to plan”
“Oh really!? Normally girls like her are pretty upfront about what they want. But I guess she’s the type who teases who she’s playing with for a bit before she lets it get to the climax”
“Yeah...ahem...y’know I could’ve died like three times today. I fought Null and stole a god’s kids” Saria pointed out, unsurprised.
“Heheh, to be fair sis’...I came pretty close at least 8 times today, but Lexa kept interrupting me before I finished”
“Wait are you speaking literally or metaphorically here, I never quite know with you...”
“Metaphorically with what? I was working on that stuff you wanted for the kids”
Saria remained silent for some time and then hung up the phone, placing back in her pocket and waiting for the blue light of the transporter to take her back.
