Exactly 200 years after the invasion of the Demons came to a halt and peace have returned or so they thought. The demons did not disappear but instead scattered, without a leader they began to roam around like wild animals and breed.

To resolve this problem, the great alliance created a ranking system and assign the subjugation based on the rank an individual possess. Ranks are divided from F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, and X where F being the lowest and X being the highest.

Having an SSS rank already rivals the heroes of 200 years ago who fought against the Demon Lord or what he is called now a days.

Even though X rank exists there is only one in the entire history who is recognized thought out the world as such and that is the greatest hero who sacrificed himself in the last battle.

His accomplishments are so great that even if the other heroes’ accomplishments combined it won’t even reach half of the total deeds he has done.

Based on The Great Alliance records most of the heroes owe their lives to the great hero and devoted themselves in accomplishing the great hero’s dreams and that is to create a safe world where their offspring’s can live peacefully.

Thus upon their efforts every country began to prosper and provide security on its citizens. Even on this day which the demons still remains ordinary citizens can live peacefully in their everyday lives.

And so on this day, a lot of people are gathered on the main street of the city which is considered as the greatest. Located in the biggest country that stand neutral and where the great hero is being honoured the most because he spend his childhood on this very country named Gaia, on this City of Nos.

There are several stalls along the road and everyone is eager to see the parade honouring the heroes who fought and won against the demon lord and the most anticipated among the group is the elites of the number one Demon hunting school named after the greatest hero Khai.

The elites of the school stand firm and proud wearing their Elite uniform which serve as a symbol of their status and power. The Elites are 13 in number and the one that stands above all is a woman famed from her prowess and ice cold personality.

Standing 5’6” in height having a sky blue hair that reach until her waist, a pair of deep brown eyes with a glare that can kill it laid upon, a pale rosy skin which is as smooth as porcelain, and a slim yet firm figure that can entice many men.

The adopted daughter of the prestigious noble house of Crane which gained a lot of achievement s up to this day and her name soar throughout the world. Having the same name as one of the heroes, some believed that she is her reincarnation even though their skill and combat style of choice differs. The hero 200 years ago used sword and magic <> to defeat her enemies while the woman who is considered the strongest in this academy is using spear and magic <>.

“Yes! Ha-ha-haaa” with a dry laugh they head towards the last destination of the parade, The Demon hunter Academy, Khai.

Khai Academy exists for about 150 years now. Fifty years after the war against the demons the academy officially opens its doors to new talents. It took about twenty years to construct and it is hailed as the oldest school that trains its students to become strong Demon hunters. Throughout the years the academy produced a lot of powerful hunters and some of them became wildly known thus adding to the fame of the school.

The school is also a dormitory type where students have to stay inside the school campus all the time except for long holidays where they need to go back to their home town or families.

After the parade, all students are gathered to the main hall of the school because this is also the day when they welcome the new students who will be attending the school. Thus the new term ceremony takes place.

The school is divided by two levels, the juniors and the seniors. The junior level is subdivided into four levels and the age requirement into attending is at least 13 years of age which is mostly not observed because most of the students enter the school at the age of 14. The main reason for this development is because the school requires each student to be at least D rank in terms of abilities and proficient on at least one combat style.

The combat styles that are commonly practiced are <> that uses a sword as the main weapon but there are a lot of sword types that fall under this category nonetheless all of them is using a type of sword or a blade.

The second one is <> from the word lance, every single one of these practitioners is using a type of a long staff with some sort of a blade or a sharp object at the other end. Mostly used for pincer attack and have high penetration power against armoured opponents.

Third is the <>, Magic device that uses a cartridge that contains magic incantations or magic scripts that is when mana is applied it will activate the cartridge and shoot out or launch the spell which is where this type of style got its name . The power and effectiveness depends on the script and the device.

There are 3 types of launcher the <> which is a short distance device that is commonly used by one hand and can act as a support or a vanguard depending on the situation.

<> it is a mid-range weapon and known for its destructive power that can shoot out huge spells against the enemy, mostly used against large group of enemies because of its area of effect, the only downside of this monster is that it takes a lot of time in between usage.

<> It is a long range, light, and high density weapon that uses a scope to target enemies at a very long distance, it is also a good weapon against flying type demons, The down side of it is almost the same with the <> although it does not take as much time, still it cannot be fired in short interval. <> was the result of the research held by the humans and the best crafting race, the dwarves. This gave the other race the opportunity to use magic spells.

Fourth is <> this style specialize in sneak attacks and swift movements. Usually this style use daggers and most trusted scouts during raids. Their magic preference include stealth, weapon enhancement like <> but mostly use wind element since it has the most lethal offensive power in terms of sharpness.

The fifth is the so called <>. Mostly consist of elves that have a contract with a spirit. Just as the name implies these fighting style involves their summoned spirits that works as their vanguard and source of power. The spells is highly dependent on what type of spirit you have a contract with, the more powerful your spirit is more powerful spells were at your disposal. The most intriguing part of <> are that their spirits can never be stronger than the summoner.

The sixth are the type which is called << Defender>> or <>. They train their strength and stamina to the fullest and mostly focus on defence. Their role is to defend the group, mostly on frontal assaults that other types cannot defend and might lead to death. <> are very important on a group subjugation against multiple demons as they maintain the safety and increase survival rate of the subjugation. Because of their high magical and physical defence and resistance, most people find it hard to deal with them.

Last but not the least <> as the name implies they are the people capable of casting powerful spells. It is the most traditional style which until now is being practiced, due to its versatility and depending on the individual’s mana capacity the powerful an individual can be. Most of these <> are adept in healing spells which needs one to be not just good but has excellent control on their mana. People belong to this category are highly respected due to their capability to save one’s life. There is also a saying that is attached to this type, “Anger anyone you like but your healer, else regret only comes with death”.

The senior level has three years; this is because the main purpose is to get them used to fighting demons. The senior year is where the students form their teams and spend their days strengthening themselves. They are sent to different missions and evaluated based on their performance which is critical since after graduating this will determine if they will receive their own formal appointment granted by the << Great Council >>. Usually its military rank but most of the graduates aim to be recognized and become famous.

Only the graduates can challenge the SS rank and above otherwise you have to go through a special process that might take years to accomplish.

Becoming an SS rank or above became the dream of every Demon hunter around the world, there are only 9 known SS rank and 1 SSS rank which is the last surviving hero of the war 200 years ago.

Going back to the new term celebration; otherwise known as ‘The Welcome Ceremony’. Because for the new students first official school wide celebration.

The whole thing went well without any major incidents and the students went to their assigned rooms and after the next day it will be the official start of the school.
