I freak out. What is happening to me now? I'm baffled.
"AGHHH-Aghhh!"
I scream and try to run away, but the window doesn't disappear, no matter how much I run around. I close my eyes, but it's still there when I open them again.
"Okay, what is going on?!"
I think I'm going mad. This doesn't make any sense, and wherever I look, it's still there. I stop and stare at it, still baffled. Finally, I calm myself down. The window has the name I just picked for myself and shows the things I have in my possession at the moment. I start to think.
"So, my name is Larrios, I'm a male, and I'm 18 years old. Let's say this is useful, but how do I get rid of this thing?"
Right then, the window disappears.
"What the hell? No, no, no. I'm going crazy. I need to eat."
Just then, I see it. Right in front of me, barely a meter away, one of the birds is standing with its back to me. I stop talking and moving. Near my left foot, there are a couple of pebbles. I slowly crouch down and pick them up. The bird hasn't noticed me; it's still there. With all my strength, I get my arm in position and throw the pebbles at the bird! Jackpot! The pebbles hit the bird! A little too well, I'd say—it's dead on the spot. Like a caveman, I run over, and with the silliest grin on my face, I pick the bird up in my arms. Then, the window pops up again!

Again, this damned window! Hunting? Level 1? I killed a bird, and now hunting is one of my abilities? I give up; I'll just go with the flow.
A couple of moments later, a thought hit me. While my stomach was growling, urging me to eat the bird, I realised there was no way for me to cook it. I didn't have a fire. Damn it, back to square one. Driven by my hunger, I started looking around for firewood. Good thing the forest was nearby, and there was plenty of wood available. I quickly gathered enough and brought it back to the spot where I first came out of the woods. Just as I put the wood down, the window appeared again.

As the message popped up again, I began to understand a bit more.
"So now, besides hunting, gathering is a new 'skill,' I think. Whatever, I'll think about it later. What matters now is food!"
I took a flat piece of wood and placed it on the ground. Then I picked up a stick, set it on the flat wood, and started rapidly spinning it back and forth with my palms while pressing down. It took about 30 minutes to finally create an ember, but then I realised I needed some dry leaves to ignite the fire. I quickly found some near the forest, but the ember had died out, so I had to start the whole process again. After 20 more minutes, the ember was glowing once more, and with the leaves, I managed to get a fire going. Finally.
