chapter one:Wu Fan from the sky

"Human history has recorded the Earth's existence for 4.6 billion years. All life originated from the ocean, starting with single-celled organisms and later evolving into multicellular organisms. As the Earth's environment changed, some aquatic organisms gradually adapted to land and became dinosaurs. After many years, in the Cretaceous period, dinosaurs became extinct, marking the end of the Reptilians era and the beginning of a flourishing era for mammals. Ancient apes slowly evolved into humans."

"Many years passed, and with the movement of tectonic plates, the fourth ice age gradually formed the current geological environment. After thousands of years of development, it gave rise to human civilization as we know it today."

"Brother, isn't this common knowledge?"

"Yes, but there is a part of the past that happened before human history was recorded, which I believe you still remember."

"Is it related to my final trial?"

"Of course it is, Wufan. It has a significant connection to your final trial."

Wufan brushed his bangs aside and stood next to a tall man, both standing on a cloud overlooking the earth.

The wind rustled the man's white cloak behind him, as well as the black cloak behind Wufan. The man had deep eyes, his wise gaze fixed on the sky above, seemingly glimpsing at those ancient events.

After a moment of contemplation, the man suddenly spoke, "Wufan, do you remember what I told you about the origin of this world?"

"Of course.I remember. You once said that the world we are in is like a virtual game, where everyone plays their own role." Facing the gentle face of his brother, Wufan held deep respect for him.

"The Creator is like a computer or a program. It sounds crazy and unbelievable, doesn't it?"

The corners of the man's mouth slightly curved upwards as he continued, "I'm curious about what lies beyond this computer, beyond this program. Whether there is something that can completely overturn my understanding. I cannot verify these things, you know. I cannot leave.I have always relied on you for everything, fortunately, you have never let me down."

Wufan lowered his head willingly, enduring the benevolent offenses from above. The man's words were not entirely accurate; Wufan had disappointed him before, made unforgivable mistakes. But this brother of his has always loved him and, instead, blamed himself for Wufan's faults.

"I am well aware, Second Brother, that you are the Commander of Heaven's Will, representing the heaven and earth decree. Your actions cannot be taken lightly."

"Heaven's Will," the man muttered to himself, a bitter smile tugging at his lips. "It is merely a burden laced with curses. Ever since the Dominant Power disappeared, the birth of the Future of Destiny became inevitable. The gears of world's demise are turning, and fate is steadily approaching its predetermined endpoint.

"Fortunately, I have you. Without you shouldering this responsibility, I probably wouldn't exist."

Wu Fan's heart tightened at the mention of the Dominant Power and the Future of Destiny. These were two terms that caused him great unease, especially when spoken by the man. They struck him like a heavy hammer against his vulnerabilities.

The Dominant Power in the world, which compelled all things to bow down before it. His eldest brother, the Dominant Power, was a perpetual torment in his heart. He transformed into the Future of Destiny out of his hatred for the world. It was the end of everything, the doomsday.

"You should still remember Anunnaki," the man spoke again.

Remember? Wu Fan certainly did. "Our first brother, the one who wielded great power, was once the light of Anu, the father of the Anunnaki."

Wu Fan had a vivid impression of those giants adorned in exaggerated golden attire, with long, thick black beards and well-defined features.

"The Sumerian King List records that the king descended from heaven and arrived in Eridu. You know who that king refers to."

"In modern interpretation, the term 'king' refers to ancient heroic kings, such as Gilgamesh of Mesopotamia and Babylon. But the reality is quite different. The 'king' refers to our first brother, and Eridu is the planet where the fugitives resided. Our first brother, as the light of Anu, was born in Eridu, nurturing life before the existence of Anu."

"Eridu is said to be a planet with advanced civilization, but for some reason, it was hunted by another equally advanced planet in the universe. With no way out, our first brother led the Anunnaki on a desperate journey, eventually finding refuge on a primitive blue planet – Earth."

Wu Fan brushed his long bangs from left to right across his forehead. "Human imagination can sometimes go too far. With only a few fragments of evidence, they can imagine that the Anunnaki initially came to Earth in search of energy, to mine a high-energy material called orichalcos."

"Yes, these matters fall within your domain of expertise, as you have experienced and witnessed them firsthand." The man's gaze shifted towards the ground, observing the white clouds and blue sea beneath them. His vision pierced through the layer of clouds, reaching the vast population of beings on the surface and the countless vibrant lives in the sea.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

He continued, "There are four major races in this world: Divines, Aquatics, Reptilians, and Human-beings. For many years, these four races coexisted peacefully without interfering with each other. Among them, Divines are the strongest, immortal . Aquatics come next, as the nurturing ground for early life, granting them long lifespans.

"Following them are the Reptilians. Part of humanity's speculation aligns with reality, but not entirely. The eruption of supernovae and changes in the Earth's geological structure did not cause the extinction of dinosaurs. Some of these near-perfectly evolved beings had taken refuge underground and survived. After mastering space travel technology, they migrated to another world to reproduce and thrive.

After the Reptilians departed, the primate species among mammals began to rise. The Anunnaki, who were fugitives, noticed these creatures capable of developing higher intelligence and enslaved a large number of primates in an attempt to find a source of energy that would allow them to return to Eridu. As history has shown, the unauthorized intrusion of foreign species appeared as an invasion to the indigenous species.

This naturally triggered a three-tribe war. When the conflict reached its peak, the filthy, cursed beings known as the Divines emerged and rapidly grew in power, nearly annihilating all three major races.

If it weren't for the awakening of the Light of Anu, which was dormant in the space, causing the three races to set aside their hatred and unite against the Divines, the seed of civilization might have been extinguished.

"This is the War of Heaven."

"After the war, the reptilians completely closed the wormhole, the aquatics submerged deeper into the sea, and the city of Atlantis established by the Titans sank, severing the connection with the land.

The Anunnaki lost hope of returning to Eridu due to the devastation of war, and the Light of Anu continued to slumber. As a result, the remaining group of Golden-Bloods decided to establish an eternal dynasty on this planet.

The Divines were exiled and lost in extradimensional gaps. However, their immortal nature destined them to be sealed and temporarily forgotten in the corners of history until the day they would be awakened once again."

Wu Fan clapped his hands, understanding the man's intention. "Brother, are you saying that the Dominant Power are now attempting to awaken them? To awaken those Divines whom he himself suppressed?"

"Perhaps it is more than that, Human beings, Reptilians, and Aquatics have not clashed for many years mainly because they each stay within their respective domains without interacting. Now, these peaceful conditions are gradually being broken.

Some of the awakened Divines will invade the Reptilians' homeland with the help of our first brother's underlings.”

If this continues, the desperate Reptilians, with no other options, are highly likely to open the long-sealed wormhole and come face to face with Human beings. And once the Reptilians disrupt the balance, the Aquatics will inevitably be drawn into the conflict. Compared to the Reptilians and Aquatics, Human beings are truly fragile."

Wu Fan deeply pondered his older brother's words. These foolish creatures, humans, who arrogantly consider themselves the spirits of heaven and earth, the rulers of all things, are nothing more than their own wishful thinking.

Wu Fan certainly did not forget the history he had personally experienced. After the surviving Anunnaki established an eternal dynasty, they were dissatisfied with the clumsiness and ugliness of the primates and thus bestowed upon them higher intelligence, making those hairless monkeys serve as their slaves.

After the slumber of the Light of Anu, the royal family smoothly ruled the surface world for hundreds of thousands of years. It was during this short span of time that the Light of Anu turned into the Dominant Power. Under the influence of the Dominant Power, the succession of kings accelerated, and members of the royal family constantly engaged in fratricidal conflicts, ultimately resulting in the downfall of the royal lineage.

In the presence of the weak slaves, beside the corpse of the king, one of them picked up the crown from beneath the blood-soaked throne and proclaimed himself exceptional, claiming that power was bestowed upon him by the heavens and that he would succeed the king in ruling the world.

Twenty years later, the former slave who claimed to be the heroic king was killed by his fellow kind. Humans descended into civil war, and Andamia and Bohemia fled the capital one after another, migrating eastward and westward respectively, branching out and spreading human civilization.

"Wu Fan, I have given you the basic information. What comes next is up to you." The man gently patted the slender shoulder of his younger brother, the shoulder capable of bearing any burden.

Wu Fan's shoulder trembled, and the man knew he was afraid.

"Everyone makes mistakes, and it's okay to make mistakes as long as you bravely take responsibility."

The man firmly pressed down on Wu Fan's shoulder once again.

"Releasing the past, everything becomes a memory.let's turn to a new page. This time, you can rest assured that you won't encounter the Dominant Power. I know you don't know how to face our first brother." The man comforted.

Because of what happened many years ago, Wu Fan indeed couldn't face the Dominant Power.

However, the words that the man blurted out afterwards tightened the nerves that had just relaxed in Wu Fan. "But you will encounter our fourth brother and that girl."

After saying this, disregarding the stunned Wu Fan in place, the man slowly began to chant: "Time sings, life is a dream, blessings from the gods, bestowed by heaven and hell”.

Two clouds rushed over, then quickly disappeared.

A purple wormhole appeared.

"The king descends from the heavens, the god descends from the heavens, Wu Fan descends from the heavens. Wu Fan, go now.”

Wu Fan, as if receiving a royal decree, tightly gripped the sheath of his katana behind his back and leaped down through the wormhole.
