Lyner shot forward leaving behind a compressed tunnel of air, the vortex exploded forth with unimaginable force. The world devourer was pushed back into the void, far away from the fractured space of Earth.

"Cling Clang Qian Qiang KENG!" Lyner dual wielded both swords, splitting his minds focus between attack and deflecting attacks from the Vampiress and the Viscount. Lyners swords enlarged as his inner energy condensed over the blade of both swords, an azure blue blade extended out 4 meters from Lightshadow and Nightingale. The reach of his weapons reached 6 meters in total.

Light and Dark magic blades materialized with a dozen per Dao, the magic blades circled Lyner creating a 3 meter safety net. All the abyssal beings, demons, titans and void beasts that got too close were instantly annihilated. Lyner pressured his soul, splitting his concentration into three separate command chains. Lyners brain was on fire as this was pushing the limits of his already fractured soul, an old injury that never healed, instead kept disintegrating bit by bit.

With nearly 200,000 underlings being the elite of the elite, 19 generals and 2 emperor ranked Vampires, the viscount and the group were being heavily suppressed by Lyner. Gritting his teeth the Viscount shouted out in frustration "perform the sacrificial ritual of the cannon fodder to boost your own power. This goddamn bug of a human is unfathomable!"

A pentagram etched itself into the ground and extended to all reaches of the blood barrier. The cannon fodder let out grunts of pain as their lifeblood, energy and vital essence was siphoned off. One by one they started exploding into blood mists, the generals absorbed it all as their energy levels skyrocketed. With Earth not yet being an upgraded planet by the system, Earth was incapable of withstanding such overbearing power levels.

Lyner chopped down with Lightshadow and Nightingale creating a cross formation of Sword Qi that cut through the blood barrier. His inner energy swept up his comrades and younger sister, pushing them out before the barrier repaired itself. With all his distractions gone, Lyner was now able to fully focus on the task at hand.

Lyners aura exploded out into a pillar of light that pierced through the blood barrier, the beam condensed as the energy fused into his body. Blood seeped out from his mouth, nose, ears, eyes. The flesh across his skin started splitting as blood gushed out from the openings.

Both his hands radiated his Dao of Light and Darkness, Lyners hands formed various sigils as he brought his hand together. The two separate Dao was combined, a purple, black-white lotus was formed between his hands. All the void energy gushed in as the lotus bloomed, and began transforming shape into a mythical sword. The pressure building on Lyners body was intense, the bones in his body started squeaking and his tendons began snapping under such immense pressure.

The Viscounts eyes widened in fear as Lyners Daos combined into one of the peak tier Dao of Twilight. "Everyone gather all your energy and transfer it into me now! Lyner is manifesting the laws and fusing his Dao into Twilight."

The generals eyes narrowed into slits, the situation for them was severe. Gathering all their Dao, and life essence, nineteen balls of various coloured energies shot into the Vampire Viscounts body. He grabbed the Vampiress and dug his fangs into her neck, sucking her dry in seconds as her corpse turned into dust and disintegrated. "Sorry my love, I will see you in hell or wherever we go when we die."

The Viscounts eyes were slightly red. Earth rumbled and quaked violently as Lyners and the Viscounts auras reached all new heights. Inactive volcanoes started up again, the island countries across Earth experienced disaster grade tsunamis. The core of Earth split as magma seeped through the cracks, reaching the ground surface above. Buildings and humans were being vaporized by the extreme heat.

Lyners organs started bursting, and blood rained down from his body as if it were monsoon season. The now Twilight lotus started shaping into a double edge long sword. Lyner weakly reached his hand out grasping the pommel with both of his hands. Copious amounts of blood burst out from his body, touching a manifestation of peak tier laws and truths without the proper base to support it that Earth lacks was extremely dangerous.

Lyner and the Viscount pushed all their remaining energy into their weapon. Examining his opponent and seeing that the Viscount looked more miserable than his whole body felt, Lyner and the Viscount made eye contact. Sparks zapped between the both of them.

Lyner and the Viscount flashed forward at the same time as each other.

"CLING CLANG CLANG CLANG KENG!" Lyner used his body as bait, his recently regenerated heart was pierced through. Lyners momentum kept increasing as he twisted his blade, slashing upwards in a vertical arc. Chaotic energy gathered in the palm of his hand, Lyner pushed the ball of energy out with the remaining fuel he had left in his tank.

The ball shot out condensing into a 4 by 4 beam of energy, enveloping the Viscount as the remaining figure left disintegrated entirely. The condensed beam pierced through the Vampires blood barrier, continuing on to pierce through the void between Earth and space. The World Devourer was given a rude surprise, its gaping maw was wide open as the laws of Devouring that was meant for Earth, became its unintended meal.

The beam pierced through the World Devourer melting all of its internal organs, burning its blood to the point of evaporating. Lyners figured appeared as the Twilight Lotus Blade consumed the beam of energy, Lyner slashed out twice in a X in quick succession, splitting the World Devourer into pieces.

Lyners body twitched all over uncontrollably, being out in the void of space was already taxing for Soul Palace stage cultivators, let alone him who had only just entered the foundation stage after breaking the genetic shackles. The vacuum of space he cut through initially to kill the World Devourer closed behind him. Having no choice and urging his already empty core purely with the force of his will. Lyner tunneled through the void once more locking onto his sisters aura as a reference point, then used Void Steps crossing the great distance in seconds.

Lyner returned to Earth safely, his transformative state lasted for 4 minutes, all the muscles, bones, tendons, veins, soul World, and cultivators core were shattered into oblivion. Lyners body finally gave out on him, and he started falling forward. Leyara and Jasmine ran towards Lyner with tears in their eyes. The outcome was final, and Lyner was standing in front of death's door.

Lyner used all of the will he had left and remained standing, instead of giving into the weakness and the embrace of death. Lyner would not say his life was great, but it also was not horrible. He had a loving father, Leyara was his pride and joy in life. The master he had who became his second father, the comrades he met on the battlefield. They all shed blood together, some were lost to the battlefield. But many more were saved by his desperate struggles to bring as much of his family out of those situations alive.

Lyner held Lightshadow and Nightingale in a white knuckled grip. Struggling and shaking Lyner cupped his fist and brought it in front of where his heart would be, but what was there instead was a 5 meter round gaping hole. Lyners ragged and strained voice issued his last orders to his comrades.

"Raise Leyara give her a happy and loving life. The rest of you... dry your eyes. Live your lives away from... the Underground World. Go into the real world, find love, build your families and... treasure them. You all are... dis..mis...sed."

The twinkle in Lyners winked out, like a solitary flame atop a candle fighting against turbulent wind. The flame grew tired, and the cycle of life was thus complete.

Nightingale and Lightshadow fell out from Lyners hands. Thunder boomed in the distant horizon, rain water pitter pattered heavily on the ground covering the sounds of sniffles and sobs

The right fist of everyone present went up into the air, clenched and white knuckled. "If you got 'em, smoke 'em!" No one knew who said it, it only took seconds for cigarettes to be lit, the lit cherries were like fireflies, sending their captain off pridefully.

Jasmine and Leyara backed away from Lyners lifeless body, hugging each other tightly and crying. Lyners body stood strong no matter how strong the wind was, his body withstood it not wobbling in the least.

Elsewhere in the vast cosmos, the System materialized into a young 5 year old boy with golden eyes, brown hair, and an ancient but torn white and blue cultivators robe.

"THAT IS ENOUGH!" A tyrannical aura and killing intent that made even the "System" flinch and show traces of fear appeared. The man had one black and one white eye, his long hair was crimson red like that of a fine wine. A pair of demonic and holy, black and white wings spread out from his back. A white-black halo was above his head as two demonic horns that blazed with abyssal horns suspended it in the air. The man grabbed the body of the "System" by the scruff of the cultivators robe, pulled the powerless boy up to his face and screamed into his face with a killing intent so strong it froze time across the entirety of the multiverse.

"I BIT MY TEETH WHEN YOU TOOK MY WIFE AWAY. BUT I WILL NOT WATCH AS YOU TAKE AWAY MY ONLY PROGENY! IF YOU DARE TO CLICK THAT GODDAMNED CONFIRM BUTTON. THE ENTIRETY OF MY LAZARUS CLAN WILL HUNT YOUR EXISTENCE DOWN. I WILL ANNIHILATE YOU!" The man's bellows echoed across the multiverse, all those who had not claimed the peak of their Dao were extinguished from the Karmic River.

[Aaron Lazarus. Put me down before you start a war against the entire multiverse. You may be the only being I cannot control across my territory. You are by no means invincible like you believe. I can have my imperial guard here in seconds and you will die.]

Aaron sneered as a much more sinister version of the gates that Lyner materialized behind him. "We of the Lazarus clan are the key to the last peak of Oblivion. The only Dao that you could not consume and reform into your so called 'rules' And I have inherited that fallen peak." A chaotic colourless mist burst through the chained gates surging into Aarons body. "Do you mean by these useless bobbles?" Aaron opened his inventory and a mountain of decapitated heads piled up, they were not even a warm-up. It has been a long time since you were last challenged. Allow me to reiterate the reason you fear my existence!"

[FINE! Your progeny will be spared at the cost of it not being reborn to Earth. Your progeny has broken the rules being born an unclean race on that desolate rock. The Demon and Seraphim bloodlines will be cleansed before the Rebirth process.]

Aarons fist smashed into the gut of the "System" a small sliver of Oblivion was transferred to the "System." "I will be taking charge of my sons Rebirth process. Outside of your domain, you do not have the compulsions to keep you in check. Now get the fuck back into your prison!" Aaron swung the "System" in circles splitting space apart as he let go of the trash in his hand, the "System" was manhandled by the Tyrant unable to resist at all. Everytime it tried to rouse its energy, Aarons own invasive energy devoured it and the core energy of the "System" itself.

Time returned to normal across the multiverse, all those hidden monsters, and ancients were covered from head to toe in cold sweat. Aaron Lazarus is the only being the System could not control. If it were not for his injury since the primordial era that has never healed. The System would have been destroyed by him as he held Oblivion, the ultimate power in the multiverse.

Aaron calmed his overwhelming blood lust, the System murdered his wife after she gave birth to their son. But it was not time for the Lazarus Clan to resurface, not until Lyner developed. With his own power being less than a tenth of his peak, Aaron could only suppress but not annihilate the System. Same with the rest of the multiverse, he could suppress the various powers, but not eradicate them.

Authors Note: The song referenced is Darker Still by Parkway Drive. It was truly damn hard to pick over using the lyrics of Sparks, or Darker Still as they're in the top of my favorite Parkway Drive songs. But given this was for the death scene of Lyner, I chose to go with Darker Still.
