Raven.
She was the only one of its kind, a new born that exists to store knowledge. Honestly, she's as though an omniscient creature with no limits. A ghoul that imitates the structure of an unusual crawler, able to transfer data within my head, however, her fighting prowess was rather weak. Ravens body was covered in the blood of his flesh when I had first come in contact with her, the violet glow of his pupils were daring enough to strike an any moment despite being extremely vulnerable. My help towards Raven initiated a contract via blood and mind, to become one.
If by chance I were to die, Raven would be sent back to the horrid state she was, a state of pure misery.
...
Whoosh!
The howling winds were accompanied along the ashes of the dead. Yuta had taken to moment to breathe freely the damp air, around the area was nothing at all but battered up buildings.
"Where do we go Raven? For some reason I feel like I'll be lost no matter where I go." Yuta had stated in a gentle manner.
"From the looks of it, your former species has been extinguished to at least 800 humans remaining so there would be no guide here as of now." Raven drew his breath maintaining a calm composure, "Although, they have been striving with an unknown strength similar to yours."
Yuta's eyes widened with curiosity, taking a step forward closer to Raven to digest the on coming information.
"I can sense that there is amass number of people within a sanction or preferably a safe haven for humans to reside in. A large headquarters of some sorts to be more precise." Raven narrowed his eyes with caution.
"Such a place exists Raven?!" Yuta stepped back and shouted in a low voice. "Yu..., this a short contextual summary from what I see. This 'sanction' is a murder house filled with a new hierarchy amongst the humans, a sort of playback to centuries ago where they would be considered nobles and commoners of sorts. While that may not be entirely the case, it is ranked within their strengths mainly. Judging from the knowledge I have currently, their abilities are kinetically engrained, while some have abilities that emerged from the evolution of their surroundings. The ranks are their number as humans, for example the 1st human, we can assume they are the strongest amongst your former species, but... they're unsightly."
Yuta turned his head in disbelief, the extinction of the world 2 years ago seemed like an absolute. That was the case, for that was what Yuta's notion was about. He roughed his with his hand with a sweet drop dripping off his pale face, sensing his heart gradually falling down with relief.
"What am I to do Raven, all this sounds like slight relief but is there a place for me anywhere? Someone as hideous as me?" Yuta lowered his gaze to the ground muttering what he could.
Raven paused with a brief smirk of arrogance, "I am your blade in a sense, knowledge of a blade."
"What are you spouting all of a sudden?" Yuta abruptly questioned with an agitated yet confused expression.
"Your powers are undoubtedly ghoul-like, but with a twist. The strength you unleash are similar to first born of the true ghouls, you were never human once you unleashed them. That was your fate. You possess kinetic abilities as well as contaminant strengths, this is what makes you different." Raven's sudden information only kept raising questions that struck Yuta. "You take life-force and use them, empower them for your own strength. You are theoretically immortal Yuta, a shadow like form only existing to kill!"
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Yuta narrowed his eyes with the intent to kill Raven, he felt annoyed by the fact he could be right. Knowing well he is drifting off from being human, his only choice was to listen closely, grieving his last moments.
"What do I have to do to turn myself back into a human?! Is there no other way?!" Yuta yelled at the top of his lungs desperately hoping for a positive answer.
"Give up Yuta, there's no other way. Killing your self is meaningless, your body will reject to do so by healing its deepest roots. A deadly curse isn't it? Do not down yourself for the mere fact of being 'not a human' Yuta."
Voom!!
Shall I tell you a tale?
"H-huh? what is this?!"
Do not fret, it is me Raven, just in your head. It is a little too late for my introduction but the tale to tell leads back to runic times. Eldritch Sages were our leaders of our groups, the runic rulers of the North; South; East; West. The Sages of Mythos to be precise consisted of numerous groups which are foggy in my mind however, due to an organisation that used to reside in your world, they contacted The Great One. He who rules Mythos, rules the Runic clans, The First true born Ghoul. This contact shouldn't have existed in the first place, a greedy being who achieves nothing but conquer, dedicated a plan. A plan to infiltrate others and reside, revolutionising their species. A primordial entity who never showed himself to anyone, he was a pure-blood Shah who climbed through the gutters to reach the skies, that is our Myth. I, Raven, am a part of Mythos who comes from a clan to seek knowledge about this world. I have gained everything to know about this planet, but, you have my word Yuta, I will not use them against your world.
After the fragments of Ravens memories flooded through Yuta's head, it was as though a story of journeys end. The hopeless sleeping for escape and the constant greed for power, truly was typical of the victims and antagonist. A spark of images from the ancients was brought further more, sages that seemed like humanoids, rather they look like angels serving God. The world Mythos was that existed within not another dimension, nor the universe, but in a space that exists within the boundary of Heaven and Hell. 'The Great One of Mythos' and 'The Eminent Throne of the Three Sages', titles that were passed down, only to the noble ghouls who dominate through and through. Such images were frightening to one who just witnessed them, blood poured down from Yuta's nose, dripping down from his chin onto the ground.
"Excruciating isn't it... having such disgusting views into your head? But that is the outbreak, the tale of the ancients. Your world Yuta is an ancient tale!" Raven faded into thin air that seemed like tiny particles vanishing into nothingness.
"You could've given me a warning!" Yuta shouted in low-pitched voice.
"Move on forward Yuta, I've placed my conscious within you. Everything you see is what I see, status about yourself and others. I am such a Wanderers Eye!"
She even boasts about herself? What an arrogant idiot.
Ding! Ding!
[Yuta Leigh]
[Survivor of the Mythos Plan]
[Ghoul entity]
[Stat: 900]
[Ghoulification Path: 15]
"Hey Raven, what is all this?" A cloud of words emerged into thin air right at his eyes, "Is this about me...?"
"That is correct. I have simplified your overall strength and summary so you can understand it. After all, numbers are truth."
[Follw the path ahead]
"Try and go exactly where it states, it should lead to where the said destination is, that is the Anti-Ghoul Headquaters", Raven spoke out the instant the message was laid out
The Anti-Ghoul headquaters... despite the review Raven said, I have to check it out. If worst-case scenario they treat me as an enemy, I'll provide the same treatment!
Thus, his battle against the world starts!
