Suddenly, Leon and Auriel appeared in a mini village, but there was no residence present. Leon spotted a small cabin that might be able to accommodate 1 to 2 people at most.
"We're currently in the core section of the dungeon. This place is a safe zone where monsters cannot enter, and is good for resting."
Auriel pointed to the small wooden cabin close by. Leon was relieved to hear that he would have someplace to rest.
"As for that small shop over there, you can purchase Potion and other basic equipment. In this Dungeon, there are 4 bosses that you can defeat. One is located in the North, South, West, and East."
Auriel signaled Leon to follow her before they arrived in front of a large signboard. The large signboard displayed a large map of the dungeon.
Leon saw four different terrains located in each geographic direction.
"There are restrictions during this dungeon trial. You must beat the boss in a certain order since the watchers have decided to add a level cap."
Auriel began to explain that the max level cap was 20. The first area, which was the East zone where the first boss was—was level 5 as its cap.
Next was the West boss at level 10. Afterward was the North boss at level 15 and finally the South boss at level 20.
Auriel explained that he could choose to give up the trial at any time he wished. What would follow would be Leon being sent home and his memory of this place erased.
In order to pass the trial, he needed to beat at least one boss before conceding. However, she recommended he defeat all the bosses, so he could rack up more points.
'That's risky.' Leon knew about the benefits and he really wanted that Item Box. Such a skill was too useful to pass up.
"What happens after this trial? What is the end goal of all of this?" Leon wondered why they were doing this. They were transferred here, but everyone wasn't given a clear answer as to why.
"This..." With a sigh, Auriel contiuned. "You've already silently agreed to this trial when you were given the option to go home, but didn't earlier."
Auriel continued. "After you passed the trials, you will be transferred to another world. In this world, Sword, Elements, Monsters, and Foreign races exist."
"Another world? Foreign races?" Leon's eyes widened. "Do you mean races like Dwarfs, Elves, and Dragons for example?"
"That's right. You will be given the title Hero, but the time isn't ripe for those items to be used yet."
"In any case, after you've completed your trial I will tell you everything I can tell you. But what I can tell you is many useful things you need to know."
"I understand." Leon stroked his chin and said.
"Since you've arrived at this point, I'll leave it at that. You can check the list by the shop and see what boss you'll have to fight in the East."
Auriel pointed to the mini shop from earlier, there was a man inside the shop. However, hanging up on the shop walls was a small list.
"All the information you need is on that list for the first area. You can use points to purchase things from the shop, use them wisely."
Auriel continued. "Is there anything else you need to know?"
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Leon saw the information in his head and thought of something. Something that made his heart palpitate with joy inside.
"Nothing really, but I would like to give you a handshake as thanks," Leon spoke in a serious and dignified tone.
"Handshake?" Auriel frowned and stared Leon right in the eyes. What was this guy trying to do?
After looking closely at Leon, she scanned him and found that he had no ill intentions.
"Okay, many fortunes." Auriel quickly shook Leon's hand with a smile. Afterward, she said her farewells before turning and warping away.
Leon didn't even get a chance to reply before she disappeared.
"It's whatever." Leon shook his head and turned his attention elsewhere. At that moment, 35 cards floated in front of him.
"Hahaha!" Leon found that his Ultimate Skill had reset when he came into the Dungeon. This meant he could copy another skill at that moment.
He also found out that these Angel-like beings could see all of his skills but his Ultimate one. Ultimate skills were something people couldn't see unless they had a very special and powerful artifact.
"I couldn't see her status, there was nothing but question marks everywhere I looked." Leon knew that her level and strength as a whole were leagues above his.
"All the card options that I drew from her have nothing but question marks on them." Leon also noticed that some of the cards were Gold. The card that he acquired from the Tutorial Hound was White, so Leon knew this may stem from the level.
Leon saw Silver, Bronze, Purple, and Gold Cards. He decided to pick one of the Gold cards since this seemed like the highest grade.
As soon as Leon drew the card, the other card disappeared. He quickly checked what skill he had copied.

Rank-𝑺𝑺𝑺
Absolute Restoration: The user emits a transcended golden Light from his/her palm, which is capable of healing all wounds and inflictions.
•As long as the target isn't dead, this skill will successfully restore the target to his/her fully restored state.
•Since this skill is usually used by Deities, anyone who learns it other than them will have to pay a price. Every time the user uses this skill, he will lose drain 99% of his/her Mana.
•Warning, the user must have a full mana bar in order to use this skill or he/she will faint on the spot.
-----
"Goodness, just to fully heal someone, I would drain 99% of my Mana? Wouldn't that leave me with only 0.5 Mana afterward?"
Nevertheless, this skill could save him and someone close to him from death. The skill said it could save anyone and fully restore them as long as they weren't dead.
"This skill is a Triple S ranks skill, enough said!" Leon was satisfied. Maybe he could shake her hand again after beating the dungeon.
"I only want the best of the best skills." Leon checked his status window.

"Looks good. I need to distribute my attribute points before going anywhere." Leon thought for a moment and decided to put 2 in strength, 4 in Vitality, and 4 in Defense.
"WOW!" Leon immediately felt the change, he felt a tingle in his stomach while his breathing became steadier.
"Did I burn some fat or something, I feel slightly lighter." Leon stretched, but there was no physical change from what he could see.
He would need to gain more levels to boost his strength. Leon didn't dwell on it for too long and proceeded to walk over to the mini shop.
Picking up the list, Leon saw what monsters he'd have to fight in the East. The East was where a large jungle was located.
The list showed the following monsters.
[Horned Rabbit]
[Goblin]
[Goblin Basher]
[Goblin Caster] ⭐
"Goblins? Aren't they like one of the weakest monsters?" Leon knew this, but it was best not to underestimate any monster at this stage of his life.
"Goblin Caster, huh? This must be a Goblin that can utilize elemental skills." Leon was also happy that this list told him about his target.
Note: You will receive an extra 1,000-point bonus for killing every type of monster in a Zone.
"I'll need all the points I can get, so I'll kill every monster I can find." Leon just needed to kill one type of monster in one zone to earn these bonus points.
Leon saw the man inside the small shop, but he didn't have any points to buy anything. These points were exclusive to the trial and wouldn't appear in the dungeons outside.
Leon was feeling good about himself, but he wonder if he should start today or tomorrow.
"Ah, forget it. Let's start now." As soon as Leon left the safe zone, he saw a notification.
[Warning! Leaving Safe Zone!]
Leon nodded and headed toward the East Jungle. The jungle was half a mile away, so it wasn't too far.
"I'd rather be safe than sorry." Leon summoned a Scout Crow and had it enter the jungle.
The jungle trees stood tall and close to one another, but this didn't hamper the sunlight from reaching all parts of the jungle. Leon also noticed the sudden change in temperature when coming to this location.
The temperature was warm and tolerable when compared to the weather in his city.
Leon closed his eyes and saw through the eyes of the crow. The crow had landed on a tree because it spotted some movement.
And there Leon saw three green-skinned pointed-eared creatures. They were, of course, Goblin as you may have guessed.
They were slowly sneaking up on a Horned Rabbit.
Leon opened his eyes, he quickly began to zero in on the Scout Crow's position.
The walk wasn't far.
'Search.' Leon activated the skill search and instantly found the Goblin's exact location.
Leon summoned both White Knights. The good about summoning skills was that he could keep them out as long as he wanted. The only problem was restricted by the number he could call forth.
After sneaking over, he found that the three Goblins had managed to capture the Horn Rabbit. They killed it but one of the Goblins was stabbed in the arm by the Horned Rabbit.
It was injured.
Leon began to check their status beforehand.

Two were regular Goblins, while one—who appeared to be the leader was carrying a wooden club.
'Jeez, they're seriously really ugly in person, good lord.' Leon couldn't help but think.
'It's time to make my move.' Leon smiled and thought.
