POV: Narrator
Melvin stepped forward fainted a slash before diving into a stab.
Adrian sidestepped and went in for an uppercut only Melvin mule kick him away. The kick divided them by sending Melvin across the space while Adrian stayed firmed which allowed him to move forward and hammer punch down on Melvin. Melvin reflexively leaped into a dodge, up and over Adrian’s head and brought his Knight Cutter on Adrian’s shoulder, taking first blood.
Were Adrian a mere mortal it likely would taken him out of the fight, but with his demonic power flowing around him the blade barely sliced through his muscle shirt. Melvin landed with grace, but was left open to Adrian whirling around with a jab. Melvin was forced to lend to dodge and Adrian followed up with a swift to Melvin’s shin tripping him and sending to the floor.
“Hell Hammer Punch”
Adrian grinned as he gather demon energy into his fist and aimed it straight down on Melvin’s skull.
“Galewind Dance”
Melvin summoned his fairy magic to move his body around leaving Adrian’s fist to crack the floor where his face was a moment ago.
“I should have figured you could fly,” Adrian said as Melvin landed over ten paces away. Demonic steam was still flowing off Adrian’s knuckles as he cracked them. “That's a part of your fairy nature. Flight over fight, and all.”
“Your arrogance is skull splittingly annoying.” Melvin said.
“Back at ‘cha!” Adrian shouted as he leaped the distance with another “Hell Hammer Punch” that Melvin stood firm against and parried, going straight into an attack.
“Galewind Slice!”
Air flowed out at Knight Cutter's edge across Adrian’s chest and ripped into him, sending a spring of blood out.
“How does that taste, you hellape!” Melvin taunted just before an uppercut slammed his teeth together. Adrian pushed forward to send Melvin flying, but quickly grabbed his ankles and twisted to slam him down onto the hard ground. Adrian raised a foot.
“Hell Hammer Stomp!”
Adrian brought his foot down with enough force to shatter the flooring. Melvin dodged by rolling on his back and thrusted his blade into Adrian’s shoulder, but Adrian didn't yield and followed up by stepping up and kicking straight into Melvin’s ribs.
The force of the kick was enough to lift Melvin up and send flying enough for him to regain his footing.

The two boys huffed and puffed at each other. Adrian held a palm over the stab wound Melvin gave him. Melvin held a hand over the ribs Adrian had cracked.
“I'm surprised you've endured so much.” Adrian remarked.
“I've endured nothing. Your attacks are weak and pathetic.” Melvin snapped back.
“Is that so? Well open wide, because I have a new attack I've developed.” Adrian boasted before slamming his palms together. Power gathered between his hands and grew into a ball of glowing crimson energy. It pulsed as Adrian whined his arm, “I call this!”
“Hell Hammer Wave!”
Adrian swung his arm, sending the force blasting out. The energy ripped apart the flooring. Melvin panicked and quickly summoned all his might!
“Galewind Shield!”
Magical wind flowed in front of and around Melvin scattering the energy away. It wasn't enough to prevent the worst as Melvin was merely tossed back and slammed against the wall.
Melvin coughed and wheezed, “So! That's your best! I'll admit! That was exactly worth something!”
“I know!” Adrian huffed and puffed, “Shame I had to waste its debut on a dust cougher like you.”
“Oh I bet.” Melvin stepped forward readying Knight Cutter again, “I'm appalled to realize your blood is my sword's true first taste. You are truly despicable.”
“I'm sure I am.” Adrian stomped as he readied himself in turn, “Now show me your best.”
Melvin did just so. Lifting his Knight Cutter to the high guard he started channeling power into it. Gritting his teeth he spat, “You are unworthy of this.”
Power wrapped around Knight Cutter and focused along the edge. The friction of the air sent static sparks up and down the blade. When it was ready Melvin lifted Knight Cutter and swung.
“Galewind Lighting Barrage!”
The slice boomed out with thunder as the lighting cut across and tore into Adrian's arms. He had raised them in defense at the last moment, but was still sent to the ground.
He quickly recovered, pain clear in his face, “You idiot. I eat electricity everyday off of Kevin. Your attack did nothing! And you've left yourself open! Eat this!”
Adrian reached behind him and grabbed a fifty pound weight, tossing it as Melvin was huffing and coughing with blood on his lips. Melvin readied a deflect, but was stopped by Raz stepping in and catching the weight mid flight.
“Enough.” Raz said, “Fun is over.”
And like that, the fight was over
*** DRAW ***
“What! Hell no!” Adrian protested. “I still have plenty of fight in me.”
“Come on Adrian,” Nathan placed a hand on his shoulder. “You're both tired and injured. You showed off your best moves. It's time to whine down for the day.”
“No! I agree with the hellape.” Melvin stepped forward. “I'm not done.”
“We said enough!” Dr Issac shouted, “You two have been doing physical training all day and your bodies' healing potential will be tested from this fight. If you want we can start tomorrow with you two killing each other down right, but today is over!”
The scowl Issac gave them tipped the scale and the boys yielded. Adrian spat on the ground and rolled his shoulders as he walked off. Melvin straightened his ripped clothes and started his own way out.
“Melvin!” Dr Issac called and the boys looked back, “Your barrage attack wasn't a barrage. You should consider renaming it.”
