Bloom 843
Sprinkles of moon light broke through the gaps between the leaves of the trees that made up the Torento forest. The shadows danced as the tops of trees shook from being released after being pulled in towards Tai with each breath he inhaled. Tai was unaware of the effect he had on the area around him while he meditated. His concentration was broken by a pained scream that rang out from deeper in the forest. Tai rushed over to where the scream originated to find a pack of Zennrettes ripping apart the remains of a man. The large sloth-like creatures were much more agile and vicious than their smaller, sluggish relatives and they lunged for Tai when they realized he was there. But with a simple hand gesture he flung them all against the trees and held them there for a moment before releasing them. The pack of four fled even deeper into the forest yelping. Tai looked around at the pieces of the man that were strewn about the forest floor. "Why were you out here at night?" He asked quietly. Of course he didn't receive an answer. He turned to walk away figuring the Zennrettes would return to clean up their mess and saw a small girl standing behind him. She resembled Ninti but her hair was white instead of black and she was barefoot. The girl paid him no mind and walked right by him and knelt down beside the devoured man's torso. "Ninti?" Tai asked even though he was sure it wasn't her. The girl stopped and looked at him. She seemed surprised that he could see her. "You can see me can't you?" She asked. "Yeah." Tai answered. The girl let out a sigh and sat down in the dirt. "This is happening way to much lately." She complained. "Which can't be a good thing." Still sitting on the ground she plunged her hand into the man's torso and pulled out a small glowing wisp and shoved it into her satchel that hung at her side. She then stood up and walked over to Tai and stared at him intensely for a few seconds. "You called me Ninti. So have you met my sister?" "I've met Ninti." Tai confirmed. She began to float in the air around him, examining him thoroughly. "You're like Oya." she said, smiling at him. "Who?" Tai asked, stepping back as the girl floated too close to his face. “Just my bestest friend in all of existence!” She exclaimed while gleefully floating in a circle until she suddenly stopped and floated even closer to Tai than the last time. "You're going to make me very busy aren't you?" She asked in an almost annoyed tone. "I don't know what or who you're talking about." Tai replied. The girl sighed again. "Busy busy busy." And then she was gone.

On the eastern side of the territory Xibalba, there was a small house on the outskirts of a bog. Inside this house a woman slept "Oooyyyyaaaaa Oooooyyyyyaaaaaaa." The whispered voice echoed in her purple and green pastel room. "Oooooyyy..- "shut up" she barked. "Every morning the same damn thing Oya Oya Oya over and over till I wake up. So what? Hmmm? What do you want?" She waited but all there was was silence. "Fucking figures" she said under her breath as she sat up in her king sized canopy bed and pushed her tight burgundy colored curls out of her face. Eyes barely open she scanned the room. The walls were painted with pastel colored flowers. A lavender colored fur throw rug was placed in the middle of the floor. And over by the window there sat a small table with a crystal ball and a deck of cards on top of it. “Guess it really was nothing.” She thought to herself while walking over to her bedroom door. She opened the door to reveal a long dark damp hallway with mold and peeled paint along the walls. As she stepped into the hall the floorboards started to creak and grind against each other. Oya stopped when she heard a faint voice call her name. She yawned and turned, "Thanata?" Oya asked, surprised. "Were you the one whispering my name a while ago?" Thanata tilted her head to the side in confusion. Her face looked like she couldn't remember if she in fact was the one who called Oya's name earlier. "I don't think it was me" the child answered in an unsure tone. "But guess what?" "Can I pee first?" Oya asked, pointing to the bathroom behind her. "I found a boy like you." "What do you mean like me?" Oya asked cautiously. Thanata smiled excitedly.
