Bloom 811
Cassius gazed out over Carvune City from his office on the top floor of Rizz tower. He watched as deep gray clouds glided over the city accompanied by a cool damp breeze. He got up from behind his desk and approached the window that took up the entire wall of the northwest side of the building. He bent down and undid the clasps that secured the section of window in front of him before pushing it open and standing on the edge. Cassius peered down and surveyed the streets below. Cars honking and the faint smell of exhaust along with the faint murmur of voices from sidewalks crowded with people pelted his senses. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath then imagined himself jumping. He began to see all the possibilities of what would happen if he did and they all ended with him slamming into the ground with the exception of one where he got struck by lightning on the way down. He smiled, and stepped away from the edge. "Is that how you get your kicks now?" Cassius spun around to see a man he didn't recognize. "Who are you?" He asked, gun already drawn before the words finished leaving his lips. Bonrue smirked. "I would of guessed with that ability you'd be harder to surprise Cass." Cassius quietly observed the man in front of him for a moment. "Rue? Ain't no way!" Cassius hopped over his desk and rushed up to greet his friend. "Where were you all this time?" Cassius asked while examining his now adult friend. "Form my perspective I saw you yesterday." Bonrue replied inviting a look of confusion from Cassius. "Capella told me about everything you've been doing. Took out Kikazaru and Iwazaru? Took over Kikazaru's underground empire and openly opposed what's left of the world government by becoming mayor of Carvune. Not to mention you've joined the ranks of the World Kings? You've been busy Cass." Cassius stepped back and leaned against his desk. "Well Xochi took out Iwazaru and I'm not really proud about what I did to Kikazaru." Cassius replied. He didn't elaborate but Bonrue could tell whatever happened still bothered his friend deep down. "There's something I need you to help me with Cass." Bonrue asked, breaking the silence. Cass lit up a cigar from the box on his desk. "Hold on Rue, you're not just going to blow past the whole eleven blooms felt like yesterday to you thing and ask me for a favor... what happened to you?" Bonrue had to think about it. He spent all his time trying to accumulate to the abrupt change and gave no time to thinking about what actually happened. "To be honest Cass, I don't know. I was at the ruins, then I'm in this hall with this ball of light projecting words into my mind. Then I was in my room eleven blooms later." Cassius puffed on his cigar while he considered what Bonrue had told him. "So what do you need from me?" Cassius asked. Bonrue smiled. "When the time comes I'm going to need you to look after someone for me. Also I'd appreciate your support when I take over Uraeus." "Shit.." Cassius extinguished his cigar in the ashtray on his desk. "I'll go with you!"

Bloom 828 - Carvune City
Bonrue smiled and nodded at passersby as he made his way down Swoll Avenue. The people who recognized him as the new head of territory Uraeus would stop to shake his hand or ask for a picture. This new found popularity was strange to him but he wouldn't let that distract him from his mission. He walked until he came to a certain intersection then leaned against the building on the corner and waited. After an hour his watch beeped and a hologram of Cassius projected out of it. "Rue, you're in! Lucian is going to send you the information. I actually don't know how he's going to do it, I've never seen him leave the tower or use the tech you gave us." Bonrue smirked. "It's fine, I'll be ready to receive it." Cassius paused for a second as Xtabay walked by him, when she was far enough away he continued. "You know I'm throwing you a party when I get back so be ready to receive that! Where are you anyway?" At that moment a car's brakes squealed through the intersection and struck a couple crossing with a stroller. "Right where I need to be." Bonrue replied and ended the call. Some people screamed and others ran over to the site of the accident. Bonrue used his watch to call local paramedics before making his way over, gently and politely pushing past the onlookers. When he finally got out of the crowd he saw the driver of the vehicle leaned against his car in shock. A few feet away a woman with two clearly broken legs laid lifeless on the asphalt, a few more feet away from her was a mangled, empty stroller. Bonrue quickly scanned the area for the infant and saw its tiny limp body on the ground near its father's twisted corpse. He ran to the child and kneeled down beside it gently checking for signs of life. He found none. Bonrue then quickly and discreetly slid the small glowing vial that he had gotten from Ziusudra all those blooms ago out of his pocket and popped the top off. He gently lifted the infant girl's head and fed her the glowing liquid from the tiny bottle. After a few seconds the child sprang back to life and began crying. "She's alive!" Bonrue called out, causing the crowd of people to close in around him. A woman with a small blanket stepped out of the crowd and Bonrue handed her the child so she could wrap the little girl in the blanket. He could hear the sirens of the ambulances approaching and took that as his que to leave. He used the crowd's excitement of the child who survived to move unnoticed back to the car of the man who had run into the couple. Now, the man was sitting on the ground surrounded by a few people, "I don't know what happened. I just lost control." The man whimpered, his head down in guilt and regret. Bonrue bent down and ran his hand under the body of the car and pulled a small apparatus off and slipped it into his pocket. He stood up and walked away, his heart heavy with the first few lives his plan... no his mission would claim. But resolved for what he must do, lifted his head and he continued forward.
