Ten Thousand years ago, there was man who roamed the great plains of Gaia. The man had the unique power of vocalization, the ability to bend reality to his will through the recognition of vocal speech. The man decided that his powers should be used for the overall development of mankind and therefore saw it obvious that his gift should be shared with his common folk. Possibly due to his own lack of understanding of his gift, the man could not teach the powerful concept of vocalization. Therefore, he decided that if he could not teach this skill, he would, throughout his lifetime, create and bend reality so that all of mankind could live in peace and prosperity. He synthesized alloys so tough that steel would would be akin to glass in comparison. He created metals so conductive and efficient that energy loss is but a figment of imagination. With his creativity he invented flying ships and swimming vehicles and automatic bows. He. Was. An. Inventor. As his life progressed, he took up a beautiful wife and experienced the rare "regular" components of his life, but he was bothered. His imagination had become the limit. He could not create what he did not know and grasp, and therefore he could not create immortality. As smart and as powerful as The Inventor was, he for some strange reason could not create eternal life; and so as he neared what he perceived to be the end of his life, The Inventor voiced his last creations: The Inventor begged for the existence of higher beings, beings that did not have to limit themselves by the constraints of Death, beings that could watch Mankind from up above, beings that were the pinnacle of the masculinity and the femininity The Inventor could imagine at the time. Beings that are perfect. Gods.

And so The Inventor had died, calling into being the presence of Gods and bringing into existence many peculiar inventions. He had died believing that his gift would die with him, but it hadn't. Both of his children, on the day of his death, inherited his powerful and limitless Vocalization. And so, generation after generation, Vocalization was at the fore-front of the formation of the Perphonian Empire.
