Kapitolo III: Essere a cavallo

*ೃ༄

Next month...

"So, about your best friend... Yukio, what do you think of him?"

Floyd hummed, leaning her back against his shoulder behind her. "Like a brother to me, he's my trustworthy musical partner," she explained, looking at the view of the city. "Ever since I've been hanging around with him whenever I had much time after going to college and all, he brought his notes and we begin studying together."

This is interesting, Yukio must have become her big brother, right? This fact that she is talented enough in almost areas which he had been told to people. "He already had a crush on someone, so he often ask for my advice. During my free time... I wrote the poetry and lyrics too, sometimes," she added, smiling warmly. "We used to participate in the college audition and concerts as well. Either it was solo, or a musical duo."

His gaze softened a bit as his grip on her hand grew firmer, and he looked up. "Someday, when you're touring around the countries. I'll take some pictures for you," he offered, earning an assuring nod from the violinist who gently gripping back his hand. "One thing... for sure, someday, we can travel the world to visit those foreign places... when we're able to," Floyd suggested. After they finished their dinner, both of them began to clean up the table and placing all their left food inside the refrigerator, leaving the used plates, glasses and cutleries on the sink; they were cleaning those before the two proceed to Zen's bedroom, and they opened the door.

When they entered the huge bedroom room, her eyes noticed there was so many framed-photos placed on the furniture and desk. "I know how it feels to be an orphan like you, Floyd," Zen spoke, making her gasped a little when he was reading the expression on her face. "How do you—"

"V told me about your life after you cut off any ties from Robin, so that means... it's your bad memories," he guessed, as Floyd sighed softly but ended with a bitter smile. "Ever since my parents' death in that plane crash, I was in my lowest point before my uncle and aunt took me in that day," Floyd admitted, feeling a little ashamed with her weakness. She still remember both of their smiling faces in the photography, how they were supporting her. That's how Floyd thinks, no matter how she tries to move on, her sadness was still somewhere, lurking around like a monster. Zen sighed in return--putting down the photograph, placing a hand on her head. "When my parents died in a car crash, I don't know when will I able to get out from this empty void," he told her, only showing his frown for a moment. "I know how it feels in your position, Floyd. Don't underestimate your own hardships, especially now you already won your own journey through difficult times."

"I'll always be with you."

Floyd was gazing upon him seriously with a blush, speechless as her heart racing rapidly when her hand grabbed his hand, her breathing shaking. His other hand firmly hugged her by the waist, his lips gently caressed her temple and kissed several times, before ending up embracing her. "You already done so much to Robin, Floyd... no need to pay attention to him. Everything will be alright, right? You're not alone like before," Zen assured her, his voice went a little stern. This makes Floyd tear up a little while breaking into grin, looking down at their hands then she looked up at him, getting much closer. "Yeah... I know. How I forgot the fact that you're here by my side...?" she asked with a little laugh, in which he responded with a passionate kiss on her lips before they pulled away.

Floyd looked away, wiping her tears away--looking so depressed all of the sudden when she heard about Robin, giving him that sad smile--even though it was broken. Despite it was genuine, no pain will ever disappear and nothing will easily be forgotten--but that's okay, right? "Did he try to help you during your lowest point?" he asked, Floyd remained silent--before she let out a soft exhale. "I don't know how to feel anymore after he tried to comfort me during my hard times," she replied, earning a nod from him.

With a grunt, Zen picked her up bridal-style as he lay her in his huge bed, he laid on his side and facing her. "Instead, try not to open messages or notifications from him. I mean, I'll remind you again and again... your duty is important so that you won't collapse too deep, you had a goal of wanting to make a musical tour, producing your music in a music industry and becoming a virtuoso. Now, you have to focus and your mental state is still recovering from him."

She understood what Zen just explained, one of the complicated feelings that was still lingering in her--giving her some signals about regretting her decisions even more. Floyd isn't the type who likes to brag or act naive towards anyone, even herself--due to her emotional, child-like and immature nature, it could ruin her reputation if the public is obsessed over her. But, instead--she was hiding her vulnerability, so that no one would notice and feeling the warmth when the woman looked up to her. "But you know, your soft side is the only thing that I hate about you," Zen mused, which made Floyd groaned in protest. "I'm not, it's just—it's... because I didn't really express myself properly, as the old times when I'm used to speak from what is coming from my inner thoughts."

Her hair was ruffled a little by his hand, causing her to pouted. Floyd doesn't have the feeling to stay here in this big world when she is going through all of these issues of dealing herself with sadness. To be fair, somehow she needed a company... due to her struggles of moving on from her ex-best friend and losing her dear friends at the same time--her relationship with her best friend, her partner in crime and musical performer. She's trapped inside a bubble--nowhere to go, can't move forward and can't move away from the people that she knew. Now, she have to learn how to accept this reality because she just gonna hit the jackpot by leaving him and her current friends. "You have me, Floyd... I used to have a crush before on someone... unfortunately, she choose to be with a different man due to a love-struck," Zen reminded her, his face showing the signs of dejection.

That explains one of his history, which is more mature and intense to everyone else. This is a long history of his past, explaining the reasons why he moved here in Illea.

Next morning...

"Yeah, I know... you two also need a residence right? Since our employees need a rest in your building too."

V replied after he helped them packing, then a few movers already called him earlier to warn him about leaving early, along with the office of the residential building that they are having a renovation for twenty days and will release a commercial to rent. That's why they need to have a plan now. "Thank you for the help, V. Are you sure you can lead the team to the staffs' residence?" Floyd asked with concern, placing a box full of her music files and composed scores inside the moving truck.

The said man smiled, putting his hands on his hips. "Yes, don't worry! I can tell Zen later, it's the time when he decided to show his project to the clients," he replied calmly, pushing his sunglasses when the sun was glaring. Floyd took a deep sigh before putting her last box filled with the clothes and some of the hats. She couldn't believe she will be staying with her boyfriend, although she wanted to find another place for herself to stay. "I'll write a post soon on Instagram, too."

"Yeah, that's great! Thank you, Floyd."

After the three of them head to the mansion, Floyd began to install her instruments in her study room that was supposed to be her sleeping space, and hers. Even the room has a wide space and cozy atmosphere to be in, it could fit the grand piano, the shelf, her black-colored desk with the computer, amplifier and violin standing support. As they bid farewell to V before he could go back to his work as the construction is done, Floyd plops down on the couch. She already put the posters and displayed the music stands, and placed her special photographs on the wall. 'Wait, what do couples do anyways?'

Floyd thought deeply, wondering as her hand pinched her chin when she was thinking. Is it just being friends, but in couple? Her hand slapped her cheek in return to break her long, deep thought until she was trying to fix her violin score that were written by her. "From what Sally told me, when you had a boyfriend for a first time--you have to keep doing your normal activities and follow his daily routines together, because the most important thing in a couple is how they knew each other," she muttered on the chat log with her friend from her alumni group, before she saw Zen sat beside her and she laid her head on his lap. "Hello, handsome~"

Zen raised his eyebrows at her, showing his mischievous smile as his fingers caressing her light blonde short hair with dark blonde tips at the end tenderly. "Hey, how was your day?" he asked, placing a kiss on her forehead. "Sappy~ What are your other intents now that we're currently living together, huh? Hehe."

The young violinist said a she giggled cutely, staring up at him innocently while enjoying the contact. This isn't the side that she would imagine once they are staying together, of course she couldn't be resisting that attractive smile that is Zen. It's totally opposite when she had gone into her 'negative' side--moody, clingy, depressed, irrational, scared... just what the hell? No wonder she's such an emotional wreck like him, somehow dealing with her feels like dealing with a baby; soft, small and sensitive. Yup, that fits the description of him. Even this experience could encourage him and others how couples are the same yet so different, they can make up their own mistakes. "So, have you moved on yet?"

Floyd hummed when she was holding her phone, before she replied as she look up at him. "I already did, but... his girlfriend suddenly texted me this," she said, revealing the chat log between her and Robin's girlfriend--and the nickname is revealed.

Alice: Floyd, can I know when will you date again? I've heard about what happened in the past, both of you are best friends and always together--to be honest, it's quite sad. But what makes me jealous is what kind of heart Robin never realize about your feelings towards him, even he's dating me as well.

Floyd: Uhh... we don't talk anymore.

Just a simple answer, yet Alice keeps asking her whether she will get back together with Robin or not--just when will the damn chick, no a woman move on from their texting issues? Just when the hell Floyd has a lot of patience and ignoring this type of question, especially when she was busy composing the songs. This behavior is rather the most ridiculous thing to hear, besides this nonsense isn't funny any longer and its irritating. "Just ignore her," Zen suggested after taking her phone, gritting his teeth in annoyance and handed back to her. "I honestly wasn't expecting that."

Floyd nodded, so she muted her chat just like what she did with Robin--before she moved on with her life, Robin never really seen Floyd in his true intentions--even if she tells him that she is madly in love with him. How didn't he realize what kind of heart, a single romantic kiss? Those words were so cliche and has some sense of pathetic quotes, except seeing the wrong sides of him when Floyd was trying to help him. Now, she finally moved on and find her happiness along with her crush, who is actually her hero and now her boyfriend. "By the way, Zen. Are you hungry? I can make some lasagna and Neapolitan pizza if you like," she suggested.

"Really? I would like some, since you're an Italian. Especially the pasta recipe your aunt taught to you, seems delicious."

Floyd chuckled, and giving him a punch on his arm. "Fine, I'll play my music now," the young musician said, opening up the Spotify mobile app as she plays her playlist then connecting to her speakers. Zen always admired Floyd's innocence, cheerful nature yet has her weak points once in awhile. But, he had to admit that everyone has a complicated life. Sometimes, he still hears her crying during midnight, or she was the night owl that sleep late--and his suggestion of his hobby aside of photography and art made her distracted.

Zen could smell the delicious flavor of lasagna after it was out from the oven and resting on the metal pot, followed by the frying noises of the pan and the sizzle was coming out. He managed to take a fresh pictures around the kitchen, before sitting on the stool next to the kitchen island. For once, after being busy for two hours, Floyd set out the plates and sliced the baked lasagna out to cut it in few pieces. "Floyd, we're sleeping together, right?" he confirmed.

Ah, there's the blush. Her face turned deep red as she was trying to fan herself. Why would he ask such kind of a question? Floyd couldn't help but felt nervous, gulping a little until she went to the fridge and grabbing the coke can, along with the beer they bought. "O-Of course, Zen... what are you talking about?" she answered--she laughed a little and she opened her soda and drank a little, ignoring her flaming hot face while trying to brush it off. 'How cute, she's blushing from just a question of sleeping together,' the male photographer thought, pretending to scroll on his phone. Zen couldn't hide his amused look at her, waiting for her response and wondering what if a couple often do the same thing.

For those who in Illea, it's common for couple who merely dating are staying together in one mansion like they're ready to be married for the second year relationship. Zen usually takes his time to seduce her, like teasing her or purposely making her embarrassed by asking some weird questions, aside giving her kisses or massaging her legs due to her sitting position during most of the music time, the photo shootings and so on.

In their bed, Floyd was sleeping in a rather weird position--with a pillow above her head and blanket over her entire body. Zen was shocked at her sleeping posture, in which he only heard the yawn from his girlfriend. This made him grinned, gently scooting closer to her and making sure that she's fully asleep; then he picked her up, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and his arms held her underneath her thighs and below her upper back. Good thing that Zen's body mass isn't quite light like the way she was. His gaze softened a bit and he pressed his lips on her forehead before whispering. "It's okay... you'll be fine... I'm here."

There were tiny amount of her tears fell off from her eyes after staring at the photo of her deceased parents with her after graduation day, and not far there was the gravestone. She used to visit her parents' tomb after Robin is meeting his current girlfriend, alone. Deep down in her heart, this relationship she and her new boyfriend is pure bliss. All she ever wanted is nothing more but to be loved and cared, treasured and even this place is quieter than she can remember.

***

Floyd opened her eyes when she realized it was a dream and flashback where she has been, she was back in her residence in the city of Eden--making her sitting up and rubbed her eyes. The violinist check over the time from her smartphone, noticing it was 06.00 AM. She noticed the similar SLR on the nightstand, making her remember it was a gift from Zen. "I thought it wouldn't be there…" she muttered, before she felt someone slept beside her, the hand was resting on her lap and the other resting on her right shoulder. Her eyes widened once again as she see the photographer, sound asleep without worry—even her heart feels fluttering inside. Her cheeks burst into red flames as she tried not to make a noise, trying her best not to get distracted and slowly getting up and put the blanket on his sleeping figure.

Ever since they met each other, their relationship was growing into a fond. Once again, she felt sorry to even mention their friendship, but then Zen felt so much comfortable, making her happy to see him in the morning. As she went to the washroom, she quickly did her morning routine before she returned to the bedroom, staring at his sleeping figure for one minute—it takes effort to contain her squealing over him. She plops on the bed as she slides back under the blanket, until a mumble from his lips. "Breakfast is in the kitchen..."

A laugh of delight escaped her lips, pulling her slouching and blushing figure closer to him. She feel so comfy, despite being here--she felt the strong feeling when the butterflies flew inside her stomach, and her face almost melted by the blush. 'How I'm supposed to tell him that, damn... I feel like I've known him since we were born,' Floyd thought, as her fingers poked his cheek. She tried her best not to touch his face too much, because his expression would be neutral--or even sad in her opinion. A hug will be safer, she thought while she nuzzled her head against his chest, letting his steady breathing lull her to sleep. There, it's comforting enough... this is what a girl wanted.

No doubt she does feel a little clingy and protective, however, Zen do not mind to let it slide off. "Aww... don't you want me to play violin anymore?" she whispered softly, although his embrace became firmer. "Again... sure, it's enjoyable."

Floyd suddenly realized a huge change from him, he's more tolerant than ever--he hardly makes a comment or an insult at her... at all. She couldn't help but snuggling up more on him, before leaving a kiss on his cheek. His scent is definitely attracting, this makes her being more comfortable than ever that caused a yawn. "Wait, baby..." he told her, keeping his arms wrapped and pulling away. That nickname and gesture made her shudder in some place, seeing his amber irises was wide. "What am I doing, with my hands—shit, you're driving me crazy."

"Ohhhh... that's really a thing, huh?" Floyd giggled at him, seeing he was hiding underneath the blanket. Of course this brought her embarrassment and confusion on how cute he was behaving. Although, Zen showed himself after a few minutes of muffled frustration, whining and snarling. "Look, Floyd..."

He shifted and put his hand on her nape, pulling their foreheads together with half-lidded eyes. "Today is weekend, right?" he asked, since he really need a holiday from his clients. She nodded with an exhausted sigh. "My schedule has been settled last week... thanks to you," she replied, rubbing his back when he rolled over the top of her. "Wait here, let me take a shower first."

Floyd stared at his well-built figure as he getting up from the bed, then going towards the bathroom. She couldn't help but grinning, her expression showing more obvious than ever, especially seeing him glancing at her with a chuckle. "Do you find me a sexy man now, after two months?"

"Um, yes? At least your muscle isn't so thin yet," she called out. Not giving a fuck anymore, the young artist approached the door. "Well, why can't I stay in the shower?"

Zen stopped himself from getting more exposed, as he turned around, knowing she was watching him. To hell with the privacy; he wanted her to focus on himself, although this wouldn't be usual. Like come on, they already saw themselves not in the clothing either because being hot and sweating--who can resist that? No one, except Floyd. "Don't be too smug... geez, I'm hungry. I'm gonna get our breakfast," she said, leaving the room so she could get something to eat.

After that, Floyd began her violin practice in her music studio room while Zen is editing the photos in his photography studio. In those times, Zen had to meet up with one of his clients to discuss about the project progress and will inform him tomorrow regarding the deadline, now his client wants extra photos in there. Which meant Zen would have to re-take it and meet the client. It's sorta bothering him, but not anymore. After four hours, both of them ate lunch together—in a dessert shop that she got spoiled with ice cream crepes, there was a concert hall across the street with a lot of crowds forming, and eventually the show will begins soon.

"Huh, what a curious looking building..."

"Hey, remember the date last two months?"

Suddenly, it slipped out of her tongue and of course, it makes her slapped herself internally on what she did. Yet, the confusion look from his amber eyes under the long bangs of his dark brown hair gave her the hint. "Oh, the opera? Yes, I remember," he told her as she grinned, showing her front teeth. "T-This is so random but... do you want to... have a dinner? Or instead the tea in this teahouse and a dessert shop with me, later? I know you're busy, and—um—"

"That would be lovely."

Zen cut off her sentence, giving the reply she expected--which followed by a chuckle. "Floyd, you're so cute. You have no idea how much I love you, my dear," he added, which leads to her stutters. "I've already done my projects, don't worry about that. Plus, even though the meeting with the client is a hassle and they demanded too many things, but seeing you... calmed me," he continued. Their communication is way better than before, until Floyd put her hand on the table to hide her smile. "Ever since we live together, you've given me so many things that had never come from anyone else. I'm guessing it's because I had become obsessed with you, that's why I... I-"

He was getting a bit lost of words, before he admitted. "... loved you more than ever. Floyd, stop biting your lip. It's hard for me."

Both of them could had not realized that they were staring at each other, feeling nervous on what will happen next. Floyd and Zen exchanged a deep kiss with love, their hands intertwined. There is no space, but they always feel a sense of privacy between them. And then, a gasp came out from them after the contact was broken. "I forgot that we're in public," she whispered, giggling once she finished her coffee. "It's fine, time goes by fast... Floyd, the show is starting soon."

Meanwhile, someone was searching the previous photos from Floyd's Instagram and Twitter that was reposted by Davide, who's a friendly ex-colleague of her. The person was clicking the photo of her kissing someone in a romantic moment on the internet, he seemed like familiar and immediately recognized. Although it was posted public, some of her fans didn't really care... since Floyd was already an adult and more famous, almost being in the headlines. The others never want to say anything further regarding Robin, except the last day of 2019 during the new year's celebration; Robin and his girlfriend were kissing passionately when the moment was getting real sweet.

Floyd dismissed the tabloid like usual, she always ignores some alleged dating rumors even hers--she was posting a status on her phone in the opera--showing the stage with the golden lights and red velvet seat; showing an intertwined hands but not revealing the true person; a hint for her fans and the rest of the world--that she's dating someone. She captioned it:

'I can't help but to think, even falling for him

I'm the happiest woman, don't even try to mess with me

Because he's always by my side, supporting and loving

When I wake up and I know I have him.

Love you, my dear. I don't know what I could do without you.'

Then, she clicks 'Send', shrugging and putting down her smartphone on the table. Later she felt a hand holding hers, making her glanced up at him. She rubbed his fingers gently, causing him to lean towards her. He hummed that sounded like a purr, before giving her a peck on the lips. Not gonna lie, Zen's new hairstyle of his dark brown hair that is short below his neckline--leaving his long bangs over his amber-colored eyes and retained his pale complexion. He also wears glasses now, making him even more handsome that she couldn't resist. As Floyd has this kind of thoughts in her mind, she had to check the tabloid related with her scandal in the opera. "There was an old one from last two months, we were spotted in Illea? Didn't we manage to sneak away to the café alone?"

"Maybe you're thinking nothing of it," he assured her, rubbing the top of her left hand gently. She couldn't resist him either, because his face is addictive. "I'm still thinking about our relationship, though... as in, we've become lovers after living together. Guess we both have crush on each other, right?" she whispered, smiling slightly. They had been best of friends, and if they not fall for each other since college era—a lot of things could be happen. "I know, but what's the problem? When you found your love, it's not the end. You only thought it ended, it is only just the beginning," he said, still thinking whether a compliment is going to work on her--due to her low self-esteem.

Then, he added. "You are one of a kind, don't compare yourself. Just be yourself, Floyd... or should I call you, Miss Christina? Or, Mrs. Young?" he teased. Floyd pouted, before she turn around to face the performance that will began. "Stop... comparing me, if you cared," she grumbled as her voice strained, she gripped his hand hard--then, suddenly the audience clapping loudly after the music concert begun. This distracted the musician, raising her eyebrows and wondered of the excitement. "It's started..."

Their time became more longer, Floyd was being focused on every musical ensemble scene along with the actor while Zen is glancing at her. Seeing her enjoy it, he can't help but chuckle along with his other hand grabbed his smartphone to edit some of his photos; they was enjoying their time in the opera. "Floyd, look over here."

Both of them smiled for the selfie photo taken by his device, it's look like a dream ever since that moment happens. She always wonder where was the old Zen gone, would that make his heart less frozen now? Floyd wanted to tell her love story when it happens, just the truth about the past. Sooner or later, he will found out. Is this... his true personality? Unlike before, he gets mad when someone touching his private item without his consent or did something to him, except his lover. Which would be the real side of him? Will her prediction come true, that his heart becomes warm towards her? Even he can't resist to her anymore... that's why he loves her whole-heartedly.

After the performance is over and ended with a magnificent applause, they were in the hallway as Floyd walked beside him with their hands linked, with a smile on her face. 'I'm glad that she move on from Robin, seriously when I saw that she has been trying to reach out for him--it took him a deadass four months to respond? The fuck. This is their decision of being together, the shit, I'm never seen Floyd being miserable for weeks,' Zen thought, still maintaining his stoic expression when he pulled her into a hug. For his whole life, he always been close yet distant with someone—this goes the same for Floyd but for herself, she couldn't quite believe that... 'their bond was very similar and closer compared to Robin'.

"Baby, maybe we should date somewhere after this," he proposed to her, as she felt his slender fingers brushed her cheek. "Where?" she asked curiously, before giving him a nod and grinned sheepishly. He gave her a shrug, before his lips pressed against her temple.

They began to walking together as the snow had fallen with their breaths visible from the cold weather. Their time might was limited due to each their busy schedules, mostly his photography business would busier than ever. "So, how's your training in becoming a virtuoso?" he asked, looking straight ahead as his other hand was grasping his umbrella. Floyd was clutching the handle of her violin case, looked up at him in a shy, nervous manner. Even though her own face had been tinted with a slight flush, she soon lifted her head with a smile.

"I'll do just fine, like usual. My performance last night had been a success," she said softly, as he huffed lightly from her words. "You're very confident, bold and technically talented on stage--but in real life... you're a baby," he retorted, which it does make her growl again. Even though they were a different person as different circumstances. Sometimes, they don't care because it would happened sooner or later. Before the night falling, the rest of the day had passed. Every little moments was still had gone without thinking, sometimes—it only showed how unpredictable their minds could be in relationship. "In case you're not able to perform, what will you do?" he asked.

Floyd pondered for a moment, swinging their intertwined hands as she answered with a smile. "I could be a violin teacher, I got certification as an assistant lecturer anyway," she replied, but that got him really speechless until his cheeks tinged in deep red. Without knowing what to say to her, he gulped. 'Oh boy, Floyd is an assistant lecturer back in college... is she...? What the actual fuck...'

"Zen?" she called out softly, chuckling.

His mind keeps filled with thoughts, a brief tingling pain striking through his stomach. "Floyd... you're really... such a good-to-know-person," he stated in a strained tone, as he could not deny what she just said—of course, things could get much harder and stressful between the two. While they continued walking forward, they saw the familiar looking musician on the street—looked like Robin and his girlfriend is holding hand together.

All of this comes flooding back once Floyd seen them—Robin and his girlfriend, but Floyd remain a stranger and smiled a little. Zen simply hold her hand and they do walk further aways from them. Floyd stayed silent, trying not to cry in front of him and it's a hard feeling—staring at them, yet ignore them. It's because Zen know about the situation and he wouldn't force her to explain, since it always happened when they were running around trying to keep everything simple and then it comes to the worst. Now that they were in the park, Zen put his hands on her cheeks and staring at her. "Take a deep breath," he commanded, before the musician did obey him. No words could explain it, her eyes locked on his like watching someone special who would be sincere and lovable, this is not a dream that she wish or gonna die without romance—in addition, the feeling of his warm hands is way better than trying to kiss someone out of desperation, yet felt alone. The next moment she felt were the arm wrapped around her waist, she couldn't resist as he pushed himself towards him—shoving his muscular figure against her shorter body. There's no need to be left alone while enjoying the scenery, she didn't feel worried anymore, although someone that seemed to not to give a care of others. That feeling was mutual, an exchange between their love—something that Floyd could had not imagine before.

It's a sensation, a surprise and he knew how to make her blush and turned her off instantly, even losing all self-control is driving her crazy for him. Floyd calmed down from her panic attack, she wiped her tears as she glanced up at him, hearing him humming with a slight smile—to calm her down, knowing this before it's too late. Zen had stayed with her throughout their journey, helping and protecting her during hard times. "Zen... sorry about that, it was..."

"No, Floyd. It's gonna be okay," he cut off her sentence, pulling her towards his chest and closing his eyes. "I've never felt such a thing like this, darling... the chance we can't deny, a thing that we couldn't go back."

With him comforting her and having a good time with him are a peaceful moments, aside from the sounds of wild critters and the fountain being turned on with the water flowing. "Floyd, if you ever saw him... pretend that he's not important enough. Focus your thoughts and feelings about us, friends and fans, understanding what you're dealing with, I know the things that you had lost and loved. This is not an easy road, your path becomes harder, but I'm not stopping you," he explained, which she nodded as her expression gone soft. This made him stare at her with full admiration, before he cupped her chin to make her look up at him. "You got this, honey. You can do it."

The moonlight casts into their eyesight, as his beautiful lips pressed onto hers—pulling her even closer into the gentle kiss, which Floyd kissed him back with hands on his shoulders. Gosh, it's just another few months their relationship would be much more official. And, he never afraid to kissing a girl so suddenly. Ever since they had first confessed their love, the young photographer couldn't help but thinking how it's so easy and they kissed a lot. Meanwhile, Robin and his girlfriend were walking past the park together, staring down at the floor. "Did you saw your best friend?" she asked Robin.

"Uhh... maybe, yes."

Both of them was silent, their minds were filled with so many memories together until things turned upside down. But, that doesn't mean their lives was over. Everything could be turn into a tragedy or joy, someday. They stopped walking, Robin pulled her into a hug—his hand stroked her short brown hair as she blinked and about to ask, before she placed her arms on his upper back. However, his eyes widened upon seeing Floyd being kissed by her lover passionately. As Robin felt intense jealousy overwhelmed him, his eyebrows narrowing when his teeth grinded against each other. After Floyd and Zen ended up kissing, the young violinist was giggling while resting her head on his shoulder, not really caring about their surroundings. Once again, they both didn't let each other go, locking and looking directly into their eyes

Robin didn't know why, he only saw Floyd as a best friend--but now, seeing her with someone that could give more love and care, it ached his heart. This was a side of Robin which she didn't want to show her and no one did, it was his true and hidden emotions. Was the rejection made her change? How he can't take his eyes off her? Or his feeling? Or, was he... pretending all the time? He was one-year younger than her, yet he couldn't fight off the envy with a frown. "Robin."

His name was the last thing she called, until Robin let out a light laughter. He shook his head, facing her while grabbing her shoulder gently. "Sorry, I can't really see her without the drama—I should stop, don't I? It's okay, I will tell her that I'm happy... by moving on."

Those were the strong words that led her on their first encounter—meeting each other again after all these years.
