The woman did her best to remain calm and took steady quiet breaths, she didn't want their almost friendly little talks to take such a sharp turn to something inappropriate or degrading just to please the guy; she'd rather get to know him on a more personal level and in a natural way since he was such an interesting being with a twisted and narrow perspective of himself and other living creatures around him.
She wanted to learn his motives, expand on his perception, and show him that humans weren't all that bad; maybe even convince him to stop his egregious ambitions. Herobrine may be a murderous man but he wasn't completely unfeeling and psychotic, he's proved that albeit in unconventional ways. Stephanie believed that anyone could change if they were just willing. Even if it was a foolish thought, she wanted to believe that everyone had a little good in them and that it was never too late for them to turn things around.
However; she feared what he might be wanting to do with her to 'entertain' himself, or what indecent acts she'd be forced to do; though she wasn't too concerned as she had a feeling he didn't have any intentions of hurting her. If it was worship or singing then that was okay, though she had a feeling he wanted something different. Steph's eyes surveyed the room as she tried to think of what to say, but then immediately noticed her book on the couch. She moved over towards it.
"Okay, but first I need you to fix something. You damaged my favorite book, look at the pages." She turned to face the man and opened up the book, she flipped the pages over to the dented sheets and held it out for him to see. "I know you fixed the glass horse with ease, can you please fix this too?"
The white-eyed man gave her an exasperated look.
"Do this and I'll comply with what you want so long as it isn't... too unethical." She finished uncomfortably.
Herobrine reached out and took it from the woman's hands, he held it open with one of his beneath the binding and placed the other over the pages; his eyes glowed brightly for a short moment and the pages of the book glimmered before taking their original unfolded shape in being restored to crisp firm sheets. He looks up to see the mortal staring at him in amazement and bewilderment, even mending a second time still had the lady in awe of his ability. He then closed the thing and held it back out for her to take. "There, it is restored. Satisfied now?" He asked, sounding a bit miffed, wasting his energy on something so small and useless with a power he detested.
"Yes actually." She took the book from him and held it close to her. "Thank you." She then glanced away for a brief moment before sighing and looking back at him. "So did you enjoy the story? Or what you've at least read of it so far?" She asked, feeling a little unnerved to ask him of such a thing but her curiosity was picking at her and she wanted to try and have another normal; yet hopefully full conversation with the god. She wanted to see what he was like over something as simple as a story, what his view was like over a written piece. Maybe the man liked reading for all she knew.
Herobrine huffed as she awaited an answer. "It was interesting, to say the least, but nothing worthy of true notice."
But why? It was an open world of fantasy with so many creative ideas and characters, every chapter bringing about more interest and mystery to the story plot. Stephanie frowned, he just made a rude comment about her favorite book when it was actually very good and had many great qualities. "But you've read at least half of it by the looks of it when I found it underneath your arm earlier. Surely it's good enough to take some of your time and invest yourself in it, right?"
"I only found it interesting enough to read as much as I did because the main characters weren't human or weren't human enough."
'Really?' Stephanie's frown deepened. "Is that really why?" He didn't reply. "Why do you hate us so much?" She asked, tired of this constant openly expressed aversion of humans. It was so petty. She took a step forward and gave him a pleading look with a slight tilt of her head. "You talk so much about hating us, why is that?"
The man scowled and folded his arms defensively. "I don't have to explain myself to you. All of you miserable beings are powerless and a nuisance, that is more than enough of a reason."
That can't only be it, most mobs were nearly on the same; if not under humans on the hierarchy order. And it didn't seem that Herobrine hated animals, though he didn't seem to care about them either. Still, he was using mobs way weaker than him to achieve his goals, undead mobs were easy for most people to slay so long as they had the right gear and strength. There had to be more of a reason. Stephanie hadn't forgotten the records of his deaths by human hands if they were true; so she decided to investigate the matter and see if this was the cause. "Is it because some of my kind managed to slay you in the past?" She asked, to her surprise, Herobrine's expression barely changed, not what she was expecting.
'So the records were false then?' She thought.
The white-eyed man snorted, the glow of his eyes brightened. "As much as I detest the old days of falling to mortal weapons, not even those bring about my wrath over humankind like one reason in particular; though my rage stems from a combination of many reasons."
She blinked and gaped in shock. "Wait, so it's true then? The few accounts of your deaths were real? How are you still alive?"
Hero's expression lightened at Stephanie's reaction. "There were more than a few accounts woman, dozens of times had I been slain; back before I was granted much greater power and true immortality."
"Then how did you come back?"
"That's on a need-to-know basis, 'you' don't need to know. I can't die anymore anyhow. Just know that I've tasted death far more times than the years you currently have in your life, none of my deaths are experiences to wonder about; some were very gruesome so don't ask about the ways I had been slain."
'Well, that is sad.' The woman thought. Her surprised look fell into a more disheartened one, he had been killed quite a lot but she was not in the slightest interested in how he died like he may have thought she was invested in. But still, not even being killed so many times by 'weak' humans brought him such hatred for them? Then what did? "Then can you at least tell me what it is that makes you hate us so much?"
"There are many reasons, but as for the greatest one, I have no need to disclose that kind of information to you." He looked away and shifted his weight from one foot to the other, his voice tones came out softer. "It wouldn't change anything even if you knew."
"Maybe not, but..." Steph paused, unsure of how to proceed with the conversation. This was a big opportunity to get to understand him and his actions and yet she was struggling to find the words to speak, the right way to approach such a touchy topic without making him want to close himself off about it when he holds the reason for genocide right there on his lips. If she knew why then maybe she could try to work it out with him; maybe get him to change his mind somehow. It was wishful thinking to pry for more details and yet she knows that if she does then he'll bring an end to the matter, he may even leave or get aggravated over it.
Now wasn't the time she told herself with much disappointment; sighing quietly and lifting her gaze to find his eyes now looking back at hers. She hated being so useless and throwing away the chance to possibly fix things, but he did not trust her nor care to open up. Maybe if they were friends then he'd be more inclined to, but that's probably not going to happen; she lived for his amusement now, and nothing more she reminded herself.
"Nothing." She said with a low tone and wandered over to her bookshelf, placing her favorite book back into its place. "Thank you for moving me to my bed last night, almost forgot about that. Kind of got a little too busy and at one point laid my head down, bad idea on my part. I didn't mean to leave you out there waiting on me all night." She said, moving her hands over the bindings of her books and making sure they were neatly stacked and tucked away on the shelf. "I won't do it again, or I won't try to. You're welcome to stick around if you wish, grab something to eat from the kitchen if you want." She stared blankly at her books in the hope of a response, but the man had said nothing at all. It made Stephanie feel a little nervous by his silence, she finally moved her eyes back towards him and slightly jumped in place when she found him right at her side and a little too close once again.
"W-what do you need?"
He leaned towards her a bit, now moving his arm and resting it on the corner of the top of the bookcase with his gaze fixed on her. "What I need is for you to stop stalling and give me what I want, I want to be amused. But first, you promised that you'd make it up to me for obeying your request and for not coming out last night and leaving me to stand idle for hours, I want what is owed to me." His voice tones came out softly.
'Oh right, that.' "Well, what do you want?" She asked nervously.
"I think you know."
The woman shook her head. "I can't give you the annihilation of the human race, that's what you want, right?"
Herobrine huffed. "I don't expect you to run around and start slaying your kind, you're physically weak, weak-willed, and too loyal to your moral code. Of course that is not what I want from you, don't feign ignorance. You know exactly what I want from you." He glanced down at her hands.
Touch. She had something else in mind though, not entirely sure if it was something she should do; but hopefully, it would please him more than enough since he did keep himself hidden from her brother and not kill him like he wanted to. Not to mention she inconvenienced the guy, a god no less and he didn't punish her for it. She turned to face him and her heart began to speed up; feeling anxious underneath his daunting stare. "I'll give it to you, I just ask that you close your eyes and keep them closed until I'm done." She asked with much discomfort to her tone, her fingers fidgeting in growing apprehension. "Don't ask why, it'll... make it easier for me."
The man gave her a puzzling look, she was trembling. Why? It's not like he was fully pressuring her to give him what was owed, at least not yet. He didn't feel like asking questions or care to know why, just as long as he gets what was his, has his fun, and be off with his own business. Herobrine decided to comply and closed his eyes, letting out a low breath of air, hoping it was worth obeying the mortal again.
With those eyes no longer fixed on her, Steph somewhat calmed herself and moved closer to the man; her heart was racing and she felt very anxious though she stuffed it down with her resolve to please him. With a deep breath, she began moving her hands up to the sides of his jaws but was hesitant to just grab on. She took her time and soon pressed her palms against the sides of his face, Stephanie felt him jolt a bit in surprise from the touch and gently pulled his head down toward her; thankfully he moved as she guided him. She then closed her own eyes and slowly brought her lips up to meet his, just like the first kiss she had with him; she was still greatly terrified and struggled to keep herself from quivering.
The woman moved her lips against his a few times and he began to move along almost immediately, though the man's lips were firm; there was a gentleness about them in how they moved with and nipped at hers. Herobrine turned his head to the side a bit and parted his lips for her when he felt the tip of her tongue brush against him, his nose softly poked into her face in the nearness as he leaned in more. As they brushed and tugged at each other's lips for a long moment, Stephanie slipped inside of him and almost immediately felt the weight of his body coming against her, pushing her into the bookcase, his chest pushing into hers, hands moving to the sides of her waist as he leaned in more to bring her in closer, deeper; his tongue finally met and enwrapped hers, tasting her.
But just as quick as the contact was made Stephanie pushed him away from her and out of his grasp while taking a few steps away from him, face rubescent and heart drumming loudly in her chest as if she had just run a marathon. She didn't know why she chose to kiss him like that or at all really; such a way was meant for a proper time and place to be intimate with one whom she loved, not this man who was bound to kill her sometime in her very near future. Yet she felt drawn to him even in that passionate sense, not because of his power or appearance; or even because she thought it would surprise him.
The fact that he tried to get so into it, however, blew her mind. It was his willingness and capacity to return the kiss with the same intensity that drew her into the moment; perhaps too far into it. She thought he hated humans, so why respond in such a manner? Was the man 'that' deprived of physical contact? Or was his curiosity greater than hers?
Though the contact was brief, she hoped it was enough to satisfy him for what was owed.
Herobrine gaped a bit as she pulled away, her eyes couldn't even look into his as she tucked her arms against her chest and swallowed thickly; struggling to keep her composure. He did not expect her to kiss him, let alone go further with it than the first one she gave; and though she didn't go the whole way with it, he got more than anticipated. He got an exceptionally slight taste of the woman and almost felt disappointed that it ended so quickly, yet it felt good that he got even such a small sample. He'd witnessed humans doing this kind of affectionate act for years and never understood why it had become such an integral part of their bonds with each other; now he knew.
It was intriguing how such a small act brought so much excitement and desire to be so close to the woman, such energy from all the contact made him feel as if he had just won a hard-fought battle and was claiming his prize. He softly chuckled. "Hmmm, no bite this time?"
"I didn't need to." The woman replied, taking in a deep breath, still reeling from what just happened.
"Why engage me with that of all things then? I expected a few touches, nothing more. There are a few reasons why humans partake in this little ritual or custom rather, there doesn't seem to be a fitting reason why you would choose to do so. So why?"
With another deep breath to try and calm herself, Stephanie finally made eye contact with him again and spoke. "Well maybe for the same reason why you tried to return it and go for more, simply because we wanted to. I know you like physical contact with me, there's no denying that anymore. This leads me to believe you don't have many social or physical interactions with others, or at least haven't in a long time. You really seemed to like the first attempt of a kiss back at the first challenge, then there are all those flirtatious teasings over the past few days. A kiss seemed like the appropriate choice that would ... satisfy you, or that was what I hoped. However; I didn't intend to go too far with it." She says as she absentmindedly rakes her fingers through her ponytail. "I kind of got too into it myself, I slipped when I got lost in the moment." She finished more quietly.
Herobrine grinned. "You made a good choice then Stephanie, I did consider it to be satiating despite how brief it was." He leaned in towards her and whispered. "You taste good." The white-eyed man chuckled as the woman went wide-eyed and turned away in embarrassment. "I wasn't in control of that tongue of yours, nor your choice to make up for the inconveniences, but I can say that I deem it good enough to forgive you for making me waste a few hours of my time."
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"Don't say it like that." The woman muttered quietly, still facing away.
"There's no need to feel embarrassed, you should feel proud instead. It's a rare occurrence for anyone to make me feel this elated, this strange feeling. Keeping you alive continues to prove that I made a good choice in taking that deal of yours woman, I'm usually always opposed to keeping you humans alive."
"Don't I feel special?" Stephanie replied with a low disappointed snarky tone, gazing at the floor."Like I did anything to deserve such 'mercy' your 'mightiness'."
Herobrine snickered. "You continuously surprise me and amuse me, that's much for one of your kind. It's mostly not the type of amusement I expect, but it does satisfy me."
Stephaine sighed, Herobrine was so obnoxiously arrogant and rude about everything it seemed, not caring at all about who he was hurting or considering what others felt aside from pain. ... Or not caring enough. She corrected her thought since he had taken and kept her end of the deal so far, saved her life, apparently affected the rate at which she healed of her bruises and bite, had decided to spare her brother a nearing horrific scene, and fixed her glass ornament. Though none of it was out of the kindness of his heart; it was still something rather than nothing when all he could have done was just initiate his plan from the start and be done with it for her town and people.
There was indeed something warm beneath all of his stone for her to still be alive even now when he seemed so adamant with his conquest before meeting her, Herobrine was like a diamond buried deep down in the deepslate under hundreds of thousands of tons of stone and dirt. Not impossible to reach, but one that needed a lot of digging to find, and she was sure she'd never have enough time to reach that warmth.
She continues to wonder why Notch would let him take over, especially if the tragic tale of Iron Gate was anything to go by. Still, the Chains of Binding was an interesting bit she learned of. If there was anything to subdue him then those would be a considerable option... should they even exist.
The immortal grew bored of her silence, he did not come to her house without a reason. It's time to have a little fun. "Well now, Stephanie Serene Stonewall."
How did he-? Steph thought before looking back at him in a bit of surprise.
"Now that I have your full name at my disposal and my collection of special powers, I think I'll have much fun entertaining myself with you." Herobrine grinned as he raised one of his hands and a mist of white energy formed in his palm.
"What do you mean 'collection of special powers'? And what does knowing my full name have anything to do with it?" Stephanie asked, now feeling anxious about what the man may have in store for her. She had no idea what to expect but only knew that it probably wasn't going to bode well with her seeing as Herobrine would be entertaining himself through her. Such a thought was truly concerning; especially with that mischievous look on his face.
Herobrine chuckled darkly with a toothy grin, eyes flaring in excitement. "It would be a waste of time to try and explain it to you. You wouldn't understand all of the intricacies, and how everything truly works on every level in the system. There are the laws of function this world abides by and the laws of code that cannot be broken or changed without certain properties in place, and yet few creatures with the right access can manipulate them to an extent. Myself being one of them." He laughed again as the woman gave him a look of disconcernment. "There's a lot of information that far exceeds your comprehension, things that go beyond your very flesh and blood, even your soul. It's a shame that the only other one who could talk about it and know anything about it isn't around anymore. It took a long time to grasp every detail for myself; but after hundreds of years, I now have nearly a full understanding of everything in this world, the physics, limitations, the unseen workings, and lines of coding. As well as knowing how to alter that code to my benefit."
Stephanie shook her head, now feeling confused and more frightened. "You're losing me, coding? What is-"
"Exactly," He interrupted. "You don't know anything about how this world and everything in it works, so asking why I have certain powers and need your username for them isn't something I should try to explain, not even on the most basic level since even that is complex. I simply do not have the patience for that, instead, I'll just break it down to something nice, short, and simple that a human like you can understand." He arrogantly gestured. "I have powers that are considered command powers or just 'commands' for short. When I received the ability to use these commands I could not apply these powers to humans unless I had their full name, even a simple name of a human specifically has much importance in this world and is bound to the very fabric of it. So long as I have access to a mortal's original username whether it has been changed or not, I can then enforce a command onto them and have it performed without fail. This, however; does not apply to mobs that have gained too much intelligence and experience, as they become flagged mobs and their names do not work through my commands. Though I can take control of low-tier mobs, this power does not stem from commands but rather my original abilities."
"Wait, you mean you could force enslavement or mind control on us?" She swallowed nervously.
"No, not quite like that; but that would have been fun to use. Maybe then seeking the names of mortals would actually be worth it. It's not as simple as me telling you to get on your knees and you do so against your will; that would have been an excellent power to abuse, but it doesn't work that way for you beings. I have many abilities that I can have you undergo though, powers that can greatly affect you, even kill you. Would you like to experience some of them?" He asked with a hand held out towards her.
Stephanie would have said no, but she knew he was going to anyway so she did not protest and just took a deep breath. "What choice is there when you're holding the power over me anyway?" She said softly, fearfully.
Herobrine tilted his head to the side a bit, frowning softly, his arm dropped to his side. "Hm, I was expecting you to at least protest; but acknowledging your place and your submission pleases me. I might have to show you more than just the negative sides to my commands for that, especially one of the better ones." He said, his smile returning.
'Great.' Stephanie thought and watched as Herobrine's eyes suddenly glowed brighter. In an instant she felt as if her body had become weightless, she lost balance and was expecting to fall to the floor facefirst but instead, she started drifting upwards toward the ceiling. Her eyes went wide as her back connected to the ceiling of the living room with Herobrine staring up at her in amusement; the brighter glow in his eyes was gone. "W-what is this?" She asked with gritted teeth as she tried to pull herself away from the ceiling but failed to, her limbs felt pinned to the hardwood surface. She felt like she was glued to it or that gravity had reversed on her.
Herobrine feigned disappointment in his expression and his voice tones. "What, don't like the levitation effect?"
"Lev...itation?" The woman muttered through her teeth, not exactly enjoying being invisibly pinned so high up and fearing to fall at any moment.
"Well, I suppose you can't move much like that. It's a good thing you live with a roof over your head; otherwise, you'd just keep going up."
"Can you please... let me down?"
With a glow of his eyes, she instantly felt the effects of full gravity and fell to the floor with a loud thud. Stephanie groaned in pain from the fall. Her arms tried to keep her face from hitting the floor first and took the brunt of the fall as did her knees. She slowly pulled herself off the floor with a pained grunt as the man laughed at her, She frowned; that was quite careless of him not to warn her or try to catch her. It still amazes her how he could at one point be kind enough to move her to her bed when she fell asleep at her desk, but in the next; so rudely drop her and enjoy her pain and mock her with laughter. She wished he'd just get bored and leave already.
"No complaints? I'm impressed," He said as he placed his hands on his hips and beamed down at the woman shakily trying to get up off her knees. "So what do you think of such a power? Let me know how it feels to be used as an instrument of my entertainment, I'm curious about your opinion on the matter." His eyes glowed again as Stephanie opened her mouth to comment.
Her lips moved, but nothing came out. The woman blinked in shock when she tried to speak, a hand moved to the base of her throat. She knows she was trying to tell him that she didn't like being used and to take it easy on her but now it's like she can't speak. She tries again to talk but cannot hear her own words and Herobrine can't seem to hear her either as he stands there with a smug look, a devious expression.
"What was that Stephanie?" He held a hand at his ear. "I didn't quite catch that, You'll have to speak up if you wish for me to hear you." He chuckled as the woman tried to talk to him but no words were heard, he was just enjoying the sight of her growing irate as her lips moved but no words were spoken. "Don't like being muted? Well, at least it's better than my 'kill' command." He said darkly. "It would be so easy to kill you, wouldn't need to lift a finger." The woman froze in place, her eyes widened in horror. "Must be terrifying to you to know I can take your life by my very will alone, it is as simple as that." His twisted smile grew as her expression dropped and fear flooded her features, she shook her head back and forth as he laughed. "Don't worry, I won't use such a command on you; it'd be boring to end it all here when you've been such an interesting mortal. Wouldn't you agree?"
Stephanie had nothing to say about that, even though she couldn't speak at the moment she wasn't about to accidentally provoke him to go that far or have him accidentally initiate such a command. It was indeed a very terrifying thought he could just have her die where she stood all because he had her full name. Herobrine was much more scarier than she thought, especially with these commands. Where did he even get these powers? How did they work?
Hero's eyes glowed again. "You know, I've always wondered what it would be like for a human to drown outside of water; let's try this effect." The woman shook her head back and forth again.
Blue-violet eyes went wide in horror and almost immediately Stephanie felt as if all the air in her lungs had vanished and had been replaced with water, she immediately felt the sting of drowning and instinctively tried to cough it up, but nothing came out of her mouth. Even though she was surrounded by air she felt like she was suffocating, she could not breathe no matter how hard she tried. She put her hands around her throat and struggled to take in oxygen, each second without air brought more ache and pain to her lungs, her limbs quickly began to hurt from the effects and she lost the energy and focus to stand. A growing burning sensation filled her chest and tears of pain started trailing down her cheeks; she collapsed onto her knees shaking in place.
The white-eyed man's elation faded as she sank onto her knees and curled in on herself at his feet, he expected to enjoy her show of struggle or for her to make a begging face at him to stop and yet didn't. His eyes glowed and the woman sharply inhaled and then coughed roughly and loudly, refusing to move from her place for a few minutes as she struggled to regain composure and strength to move; let alone speak. "Perhaps that one was too much for you?" The woman finally tilted her head and looked up at him, her cheeks wet from tears and her tired eyes filled with dread and pain. "You look like you could use some energy, a refresh of sorts." His eyes flashed again.
Stephanie gasped as a swift rattling sensation formed within her chest and spread out through her limbs in seconds, almost immediately she felt the energy to stand and her lungs no longer ached. It felt like she had consumed a few tonics of stamina and health and their effects were immediate instead of waiting several minutes for the effects to begin as normal. She lay in place for a minute to catch her breath, she then used her sleeve to wipe her face before moving to stand up on her feet, she almost didn't want to look at the man for the painful drowning sensation he put her through, but at least he didn't leave her to suffer it so she'd tolerate him and hope he finishes having his fun soon. This was not fun for her, that much was certain. "T-thanks." Her voice came out sounding a bit hoarse, but she wasn't muted anymore thankfully. She really shouldn't have thanked him but feared that not doing so would anger him, her life is in his hands and it would not be wise to displease him in any manner.
"Hm, what else to try with you?" Herobrine asked himself as he tapped his chin. "Ah, I have an idea." His smirk returned.
At first, it didn't seem like anything was different to Stephanie, he kept his grin though. "What did yo-you do?" She said with a slight cough.
"You know, you look a lot better with red hair."
His words shocked her. She then grabbed her ponytail and brought her hair to the side of her neck to see that it was indeed a deep shade of burgundy and no longer an autumn brown. 'He can do that?' Her eyes dart back over to him and she quietly huffs. "Well, at least it's not hurting me like the last command, but I would like my hair in its original color. ... Please?"
Herobrine chuckled. "Let's make this more interesting, if you come over here and touch me, then I'll restore it."
He was up to something and Steph knew it, it would not be that simple. The woman had no idea what he was about to do but had no choice but to participate in his antics, despite her pain and growing anger with him; she chose to cooperate. She flicked her hair back and steeled herself for the unexpected. "Alright then," She flexed her fingers and reached out as she stepped toward him; he was just a few feet away. As soon as her fingers were about to connect with his chest, however; she suddenly appeared in her room on the other side of the house, right next to her bed and by the single window in her bedroom. Stephanie blinked as she looked around, she had been teleported away. "So this is the game you want to play now?" She said with a flustered expression. Steph then walked through her door to see Herobrine near the front door with his arms at his sides and that cheeky grin, he was proving to be mischievous this time around. Thankfully it wasn't causing physical harm.
She walked up to him and stretched her hand out at him as she neared, but again as she neared she blinked and found herself far away from him; only this time in the kitchen by the sink. "Real funny." She said as she charged around the countertop and ran at him, clearly out of patience with what he'd done to her already.
The man enjoyed her wasted enthusiasm, he always liked a good challenger who didn't give up. "You think you can get me?"
Just as her fingers reached him Stephanie found herself in her bathroom, now touching the mirror in place of Hero. She huffed in aggravation as she stared at her vexed reflection. Her facial expression lightened, red hair didn't look too bad she thought briefly as she thought of what to do; it was pointless to try and run at him.
"Oh mortal of mine?"
The woman blinked, she thought she heard his voice in her head. It couldn't have been from her imagination... could it? She thought.
"What are you doing in there? Admiring yourself in the mirror or what? And yes, I can talk through your mind; another little command to utilize."
"That too?" She said quietly. 'Can you hear me in my thoughts as well?' She asked in her mind but received no response. 'Hello?' Nothing. 'You're a weak and pathetic god you know that? Acting like a bored child, making me play all of these ridiculous games.' Again nothing, there's no doubt in her mind that Herobrine would have raged at such words, so it didn't seem as if he could read her mind thankfully. Still, invading her head is just so intrusive. Stephanie walked out of the bathroom and back into the living room to see the white-eyed deity looking so smug.
"You've proved to be a clever woman from our first challenge, remember? Got any smart ideas on getting me this time?" He arrogantly challenged and took a deep breath.
She thought to herself for a moment as she stared at him, then it hit her and she gave a smirk of her own; making Herobrine give her a suspicious gaze in return. The woman was in no rush to go pointlessly charging again, she had another idea for his little 'game'. There was no forgetting how he tried to reciprocate the kiss, nor how he acted when she touched him a few times before.
Stephanie made her way close to him slowly with slow steps, swaying her hips a bit as she neared him. She then stood before him and folded her arms with her look of confidence, just a few feet away with an inviting gaze. "Oh, I have ideas Herobrine." She said as she turned and ambled away from him and into the kitchen to the countertop. She reached out and took an apple from a bowl that she had bought earlier, then held the fruit in her palm. Her fingers gently slid over the smooth surface in an almost seductive fashion; all while also dragging her index finger slowly along the curve of the fruit as she held it close to her face. There was no doubt in her mind that he watching her intently, she could practically feel his gaze. "Unfortunately, I don't think any of my plans are going to work; so I think I'll just touch this fruit instead. It won't send me away." She finished in a whisper.
Her words and actions must have done something to him, in the blink of an eye, she was now in front of Herobrine with her wrist in his hand; palm empty. His gaze was fixed on her and his smile was gone. "You little temptress." He muttered under his breath, annoyed with defeat by simply crumbling under the charms of the woman; her finger he'd rather have on him than the apple.
Stephanie used her free hand to trace her fingers along his clothed chest, making his smile return from the touch. "I won." She couldn't believe it worked, and here she thought her feminine charms were useless and that he couldn't be 'manipulated'. Was this man a liar? Or did his defense break that easily? Perhaps he was not expecting such a move? Or maybe he really wanted the touch even if it was brief and would require surrendering his pride? Whatever it may be, didn't matter; his grin looked far more natural and less villainous this time around, a welcoming change.
He watched as she withdrew her hands from his chest and grip and looked up at him, his eyes glowed, and her hair changed back in an instant. "There, hair restored."
Stephanie looped her hand behind her head and moved her ponytail out at the side of her collarbone, it was back to its soft auburn color.
'What an interesting man.'
"These commands are quite impressive powers. So, what other powers do you have over me?" She asked, now genuinely interested in them so long as they weren't harmful. This was a good time to get to know the god and more about him, potentially increasing his interest in her and taking one step closer to gaining his trust.
Herobrine grinned. "Curious are you now?"
"Very."
