After the awards ceremony, the students went back to class where Aizawa-sensei told them they would have two days off and that the scouting reports from the pros would be ready once they came back.
"Alright, good job everyone. See you." said Aizawa-sensei before leaving the class.
"Oh, two days off, nice. Gives me time to restock." said Tobias as he stood up and stretched.
"You're going to use your two days restocking?" asked Kyoka.
"Mm, no. Just one. I'll push myself to finish it in one and rest in the next."
"Whoa, have you guys seen the news? Apparently, there's a Hero Killer going around, and he attacked Ingenium." said Denki.
"Isn't that Ida's brother?"
"Yeah. No wonder he left during the festival. So sad."
"Hero killer, eh?"
"Don't even think about it." said Kyoka.
"What? I'm not that dumb. I was thinking about helping Ida out. If his brother is too injured for the hospital to help, I could help him. Let me ask Midoriya for his number and leave the message, just in case."
~
"So, you want to hang out?" asked Tobias to Kyoka as they were making their way out of the campus.
"Ah, the girls already asked me to hang out. A little celebration for getting such a high placement."
"Oh, that's cool. Where are you guys hanging?"
"Momo's house I think."
"Okay. Are you waiting for them here?"
"No, we're meeting up at the train station."
"Good. Gives me time to walk with you."
RING RING
"Oh, it's Ida." he said picking up the phone, "Hello."
"Tobias! I need your help!"
"Okay, send me the address." he said before hanging up.
"Sorry, looks like I won't be able to walk with you."
"It's fine. Helping his brother is just as important. Good luck." she said kissing him on the cheek by standing on her tippy-toes.
"Thanks. Have fun. I'll call you or you call me." he said before taking off.
~
"Tobias! Thank you for coming. I need you to heal my brother!" said Ida as soon as he saw Tobias.
"Hey, not so loud. Come on." said Tobias as he moved away from the halls and into a more secluded space.
"Please, I need you to heal my brother."
"Okay, tell me what happened and what's wrong with him, and I'll tell you if I'm able to help."
"He was attacked by the Hero Killer and left for dead. The police were able to find him and bring him to the hospital in time, but he can't feel his legs anymore." he said tearing up and clenching his fist.
"I'm sorry. I'll try my best."
"Thank you. Come." he said before going to his brother's recovery room where they had to put on masks before entering.
"T-tenya."
"Tenya, who is that?" asked his mother.
"Mother, brother, this is my classmate Tobias. He might be able to heal Tensei's legs." he said stunning them both.
"No promises. Some things are too much for me to handle at the moment, but I'll do my utmost."
"P-please. Anything you can do." said his mom, tearing up.
"Okay. Here we go." said Tobias before pulling out a normal card and turning it into a diagnosis card.
Tobias had come up with the idea of using a diagnosis card before using a heal card to lower the stamina cost, after having healed All Might. If he could pinpoint what needed to be healed and specify it in the healing card, then the stamina cost would go down as opposed to an all-around healing card.
Placing the card on Ida's brother and activating it, Tobias received the information that he had received a spinal cord injury between his T1 and T6 that caused damage to his spinal nerves, leading to paraplegia.
"I know what happened to him exactly, but the complexity of what needs to be healed may make this impossible. I don't want you to get your hopes up."
"Anything you can do is more than enough." said Ida's brother.
Tobias then took out a blank card and imagined creating a healing card that only heals spinal cord injuries to figure out the stamina cost. Thankfully, because of how recent the injury was along with the specificity, the card would only cost 75% of his stamina.
Creating the card, and staggering a little at the feeling he would never get used to, Tobias caught himself.

"Are you okay?" asked Ida.
"Fine. Give me a sec." he said regaining his bearings, and placing the card on Ida's brother before activating it. A light appeared before sinking into Ida's brother's body and healing him.
"Done. He should be healed, but as to the when..." was all Tobias was able to say before being tackled into a hug by both Ida and his mother.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you." they said, crying.
"Can't breathe." he said before they let him go.
"Like I was saying, his spinal injury is healed but as to when he will regain his mobility, I don't know. Also, I would appreciate it if you kept this on the down low. Don't really want people banging on my door asking me to heal them, giving them false hope."
"Of course. How can we ever repay you?" asked his mother.
"Forget it. We're friends and fellow heroes."
"I'll never forget this." said Ida.
"Thank you." said Ida's brother.
"Don't mention it. See you later." he said before walking out of the room.

After returning from the hospital, Tobias celebrated with his family before lying down on the bed and sleeping for 12 hours. When he awoke the next day, he skipped his usual training in the morning, ate breakfast his mom had put away for him, and started restocking.
'Let's see. I used a few important cards for the Sports Festival, so I definitely need to restock those. I used two super buff cards, one in the fight with Midoriya and the other in the fight with Todoroki. Considering they buff me to fight on par with Midoriya's full strength and come out unscathed, I would like to have a few more in stock.
Used three shapeshift cards, two mirror force cards, a barrier card, a cage summon card, a trap reveal card, a weapon summoning card, two healing cards, and a diagnosis card. All in all, not too many used. And it's not like I don't have more reserves but I really should restock. I'll restock all the cards that won't take up my entire stamina first and then move on to the others. I'll also take this chance to add some I've been thinking about to my reserves.
Also, I know we have a week between when we choose our internships to when we go off on our internships. I plan to take an internship where I can do some fighting and city traversal so I should start getting cards ready for that. I also need to start permanently buffing other areas rather than just my strength and reaction time. I'll cycle through the other areas only before starting a cycle of them all or focus on just my stamina and stamina recovery. Sounds like I'll be busy and tired for the next week. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers.'

"I didn't think we'd get recognized so much." said Tobias as he and Kyoka entered the class.
"You guys got recognized too?" asked Mina.
"Yeah, a few kids came up to me asking for my autograph on the way here." said Tobias as he sat down.
"A few girls told me I looked cool before running away, all shy." said Kyoka.
"Eh, Kyoka's popular with the girls, I can see that. You do have a cool vibe around you." said Toru.
"I knew the U.A. Sports Festival was popular in Japan, but to think it was to this extent."
DING DONG DING
"Morning." said Aizawa-sensei as the whole class quieted down and sat in their seats.
"Today we've got Hero Informatics class. And a special one at that."
'Ah, boring classes, when will you stop haunting me?' thought Tobias.
"You'll be coming up with your hero aliases."
"Yeah!" said most of the class.
"But before we get to that. Concerning the pro draft picks I mentioned the other day. It's based on who the pros think will be ready to join the hero workforce after another two or three years of experience. So it's an interest in your future, but there is ample time for their interest to wane before you graduate. And any and all offers can be arbitrarily revoked. It happens quite often." explained Aizawa-sensei.
"So if we're picked now, that just means there'll be higher hurdles in the years to come!" said Toru.
"Yes. Now, here're the complete draft pick numbers. There's typically more of a spread. But our top two stole most of the spotlight." he said before a bar graph appeared on the board.
"Looks like you and Todoroki got most of the votes." said Kyoka.
"No surprise there. Still, even though Bakugo didn't make it far, he still got a decent amount of votes. Seems like the pros could tell his battle instincts are good."
"With that settled, whether you were picked or not, you will all have a chance to work alongside the pros. It's true that you all have already experienced more than most, but seeing the pros in action and taking part yourselves will still be worthwhile training."
"That's where our hero names come in!" said Sato.
"This is really getting fun!" said Uraraka.
"They're only tentative, but you still want to pick something appropriate..."
"Or else you'll know true hell!" said Midnight-sensei as she barged in, "The name you'll pick now may be what the world ends up calling you. That's happened to plenty of pros out there!"
"Yes. True enough. And Midnight here will be assessing the sensibility of the names you pick. What future do you see for yourself? The name you choose will bring you ever closer to cementing a certain image because names are capable of reflecting one's true character. Like with 'All Might.'"
"Now, you have 15 minutes to come up with your hero names, so chop-chop!" said Midnight-sensei.
"Do you know what your hero name is going to be?" asked Kyoka to Tobias.
"Yup. Had it since day one. What about you?"
"Don't know. Help me come up with something."
"Okay."
~
"Let's finish up. We can start with whoever's ready!"
"Here I go, Shining Hero: I Cannot Stop Twinkling." said Aoyama.
"Haha, nice." laughed Tobias.
"It'll be easier to say if you take out the I and contract Cannot into Can't." said Midnight-sensei.
"I see, mademoiselle!"
"Okay, I'm next! Call me Alien Queen!" said Mina.
"Oh like from the movies." commented Tobias.
"Terrible!" said Midnight-sensei.
"Tch!" said Mina as she sat back down.
"Me next." said Tobias as he got up to present, "Wild Card."
"Simple and goes with your quirk, but it might give off the impression you're unreliable. Are you sure?" asked Midnight-sensei.
"Yup, I've had it picked out since I knew I had a quirk."
"Okay then."
After a few more went up it was finally Kyoka's turn.
"Soundburst."
"You're all doing great. Let's keep 'em coming!"
~
"Your internships start in a week. For this all-important decision, I'll be handing out personalized lists to those who were drafted. You may choose from among those who scouted you. For those who were not drafted, the list I just passed out contains forty agencies from all over the country willing to accept interns. You will choose one from that list. Each had a different specialty and region. Give your choice some real thought. Submit your choices by this coming weekend." explained Aizawa-sensei before leaving.
"You have a lot to choose from." said Kyoka to Tobias who had a stack of papers a mile high.
"Sigh, I know. Ooh, I could use this as an opportunity to try out a new card I've come up with." he said before taking out some cards.
"What's the card?"
"A divination card. I've always had the idea to create some sort of divination card like those con artists except with cards that work."
"And why are you just coming up with it right now?"
"Divination-related cards are more stamina heavy than some of my strongest cards because they're meant to peer into the veil of the unknown."
"Ooh, are you playing a card game? I'm in!" said Mina.
"No, I'm trying out a new card of mine. Feel free to watch." said Tobias before his classmates gathered around.
"What's the card supposed to do?" asked Denki.
"This card is going to be placed on top of my stack of papers and is going to give me a clue as to what the best choice might be."
"So, it's kinda like a Magic 8-Ball?" said Toru.
"Ehem, ehem, not entirely. A little more accurate. Though by how much, I don't know. It probably won't even work. But the fun is in believing. So, here we go." he said before placing the card on top of the stack and activating it.
The stack of papers began to shine before the card flew in the air and turned into a rabbit before promptly landing on top of Tobias' head.
"Hahahaha!" laughed everyone while Kyoka took a picture with her phone.
"A rabbit? What does that mean?" asked Tobias, the only one in thought as he knew his cards don't fail once they become real.
