"Thanks for walking with me." Fin said quietly, sticking close to Bren as they made their way through the halls.
"No problem, happy to." Bren assured. "You sure everything's okay, though? This is the second time this week. I don't mind at all, you know, but you look spooked." They admitted. "Just checking in that you're okay."
Fin sighed, shoulders slumping slightly. "Yeah. Just...there's been this person in chat thats said a few things. I'm probably just being paranoid."
"Hey, better safe than sorry. People can go rabid for content creators. I'll walk with you until you feel safe, 'kay? Until then, you need to get your mods to boost people like that out. You have every right to block people that give you reason to be wary." They informed.
"Hey Bren! See you at practice later!" They beamed, waving to someone before continuing.
"Anyways, let's get you to your class. I can chill out nearby and come get you once your class is over?" Fin flushed slightly.
"You don't have to. I know you're done until practice today."
"Yeah. Thats why I offered to chill nearby. Might even go bug April." They informed happily. Fin arched a brow.
"You know, out of the four of us I'm starting to think April's most likely to have a stalker." He joked dryly, enjoying how red Bren's face turned under their tan.
"I, um-well-"
"Dont worry. We all know you've got a little crush on her. Well, everyone except April, apparently. For someone who reads so much about love she's pretty blind to it when its giving her the heart eyes right in front of her face."
"I-I dont-heart eyes?!" Bren spluttered.
"Mhm. Pretty sure I caught you drooling once or twice while staring at her." Fin grinned, suddenly feeling in much better spirits as they reached his classroom. "Well, here's my stop. Thanks again!"
Bren stared for a moment as Fin left, only to blush harder as they noticed people staring, quickly hurrying off to find somewhere to wait. "I don't drool." They muttered to themself.
Fin gave a tired smile to Bren as he exited the class, more relieved than he wanted to admit to see that little smirk.
"There's our Finny." Bren teased. "That professor sure likes talking and keeping you guys over, huh?"
"Yeah." Fin agreed, falling into step with Bren as they made their way through the halls. "But she's great and the course is interesting. Can't complain to much when she goes over time while answering a question."
"Guess not." Bren hummed. "You prepared for Nap Day?"
He chuckled. "Yeah, I'm prepared for nap day. I still can't believe that became a thing."
"Aw, your fans love it." Bren teased. "Im still shocked you allowed us to keep using your space for naps in the first place."
"You two idiots need the sleep, especially poor Chad. First time he asked I thought he was gonna cry he looked so desperate. Besides, the cuddle time seems to do you two some good. You're both slightly more civilized afterwards."
"Hey! Don't shit on cuddle time. Psychological studies say you need eight hugs a day for maintainance. Maintainance. I'm a mess. I need more hugs." They defended dramatically. "Bi-weekly cuddles are nessesary for my mental health!"

"You know if you tried that line on April it might work." Fin mused. "Unless Gomez or Fester overhears, then they might just start carrying you around like a little dog in a purse."
"Hey! If I tell them everyone needs eight hugs a day you're going to get the octopus treatment, as well, you know." Fin gave an exaggerated shudder.
"They are touchy-feely enough as is. I cannot imagine having peace if Gomez becomes hyperfixated on peak physical affection for each individual in the household. Besides, Wednesday would kill you for doing it."
"Shit, you're right, she would." They agreed. "Guess that little factoid stays between us." They yelped as they were suddenly in the air, arms crushed around their abdomen as they flailed slightly. "The FUCK, Fin?!" They demanded as Fin just chuckled.
"You said you needed more hugs, I'm just obliging."
"I said hugs not levitation!"
"I cant help you being short."
"You're the freakishly tall one you anthropomorphic coat rack! Put me down!" They demanded, turning to glare at a laughing Fin once released.
"Anthropomorphic coat rack. Thats a pretty good one. Big word for you." Fin teased as he started walking again.
"Yeah, yeah. Laugh all you want." Bren scoffed, spotting Fin's car. "Well, here's where we split. I'll see you after practice!" They informed, jogging back towards the practice field.
A few hours later, Fin smirked slightly as he heard his bedroom door open, Kitty already laying across his lap while Chad was already snoring softly in his bed.
"Hi ya little shits." Bren greeted absently as they passed behind Fin Waving lazily to the stream before unceremoniously yanking the blanket away from a burritoed Chad, ignoring the yelp of confusion. "Scoot over, princess. You're drooling on my side of the bed." They demanded, barely waiting for Chad to roll further over before dashing under the blankets themself and snuggling in.
Fin chuckled, seeing how quickly the two puppy piled in their sleep, as usual. Shortly, a quiet knock sounded before April entered, carrying a cup of tea. "I'll be back on mic shortly, everyone." Muting his mic, he smiled at her "Thanks, I needed that. Don't worry, they can't hear you." She nodded.
"Happy to help. Text me if you want more later." She assured, setting the cup on the desk, careful to only let her hand enter the frame. She hadn't liked the idea of strangers knowing who she was, so Fin had put down a piece of tape on the floor to mark off where to stop to stay out of sight. Of course, that didn't stop the chat from blowing up at the sight of her pale hand tipped with, this week, royal blue and black nails.
"You know, they're all debating what to call you." Fin informed. "Mods haven't noticed a consistent enough trend to determine which to use. Any thoughts?"
April blushed at the mere thought of people talking about her, now absently petting Kitty. "Oh, anything's fine, I suppose. Doesn't much matter since I won't really see it."
"I guess so. Would you like to know once one is picked?"
"Sure, I guess. Well, I'm going to go back to finish some homework. Have fun." She insisted, leaving him to turn on his mic and get back to his stream.
April noticed something out of the corner of her eye once in the hall, stopping to kneel down. It looked like..."Oh, come along, now. I don't think you're supposed to be out here." She chided the spider, coaxing it into her hand before setting off to find Wednesday. "She's going to be quite cross with you, you know. Goes to all the trouble to make you lovely little habitats and you scurry off where you could be stepped on." She chided gently. "Stubborn little critters, the lot of you."
"April? Who are you talking to?" She jumped slightly at Fester's voice, looking up with a sheepish smile as she turned to face him
"Oh, a spider I found. I'm returning it to Wednesday." She explained, letting him take a closer look before he shook his head.
"Wednesday doesn't raise Wolf Spiders. That's not one of hers." Her face paled slightly.
"Its not?"
"No, but its a lovely, large one! Nice and plump. Good incisors. Hairy, too! Grandmama would love it."
"Oh, yes. Lovely. Mind taking it to her for me, Fester? I have some homework I really need to do." She squeaked out, fighting every urge to throw the thing away with a rather unbecoming squeal. Pet spiders were one thing, but wild spiders were another.
"Oh sure!" He agreed readily, scooping the rather large spider out of her hands like it was nothing. "Come on, let's get you to grandmama!"
"Thank you!"
"Happy to help!"
Once he was out of sight, she let the pent-up shudder loose, horrified that she had picked up a random, large, hairy spider. "Ew ew ew ew ew!" She chanted under her breath as she hurried back to her room, determined not to look at any more corners for a bit. Just in case she saw another one.
Also deciding, rather quickly, that it was a good day to double-check that her room was dusted. Just in case a web popped up in the short while she'd been out of there.
