In the middle of the darkness with Ume phone as their only source of light and sometimes several lights from some passerby's cars made her stood, using a long wooden stick as a stump for her badly bruised right foot and raising her thumb as a signal that they needed a ride. But it was another big vain, forgot about the passerby giving the three siblings a ride, the passerby didn't even slow down just for asking about their condition.
"I hope you die in hell!!!!" Ume shouted for the unknown number of times to another passerby, throwing her walking stick as the car's rear light slowly engulfed by the darkness.
At the same time, Nashi after tirelessly kicked the bike, stomped it, hit it with the rock, vented his emotion out and destroyed the stolen bike to pieces, finally retorting at his sister words of choice. "...It is 'go to hell'."
"No! They'll die and go to hell and die again in hell!" She said, giving Nashi an annoyed look.
Suddenly feeling it was a best decision to leave her be, Nashi turned away from Ume and continued to rummage the pile of iron junk. "...Just give it up and get some rest." He said before he gathered his strength and pulled the thick motorcycle chain away.
His action made Ume pause, she weakly dragged her right feet and slowly walked forward and pulling his brother collar. "How the hell I can get some sleep when you're making all that noises. And what the heck are you doing exactly of all this time?!"
"...Making a weapon." Nashi replied, as he circling the segmented chains composed of tightly joined links, that were often found on bicycles, and sometimes in the hands of people with massive chemical imbalances in their brains.
"And that is the reason nobody is stopping or slowing down you goddamn psychopath!!" She shouted while she was shaking Nashi's body.
Nashi silently pushed her sister away. With a hardened heart, he glared at her. "...Oi, I just save your life." he said as he reminded his sister that the world right now wasn't a nice place.
Clicking her tongue, Ume rolled her eyes as she looking at Nashi. "I didn't ask that." followed by the small muttered as her bottom touched the ground. "...and did you really need to go that far." She said as she looking to the ground, remembered about the fact that his brother forcibly robbing the bike from some random stranger and knocked him down.
And while Nashi was using another chain and tying it down to the iron gear. "...Yes." Nashi said when he heard Ume's small mutter. "...Just shut your mouth and go sleep."
A vein popped on her temple and it didn't take long for both of the hard-headed siblings to throw insults at each other. Even though they weren't the closest sibling or acted like a one recently, he had to admit that somehow in his mind, considering of what he just did to her, she should've acted like a good sister and listened to his order.
The argument heated and slowly the insults changed into the blames. Reasonable or not, as they were blaming each other about whose fault that their parent death Nashi clenched his fist, coldly looking to his own sister and Ume frowned as she glared at him.
Then from the someplace near them, another voice entered their ears. "....Nii-chan, Nee-chan... Pee..." Said Yuzu while she was rubbing her half-closed red eyes and tried her best to straighten her wobbly head.
"...Just go to that corner." Said Nashi, pointing his thumb to his back, signalling Yuzu to go into that direction.
"....It's dark...." Yuzu replied. Half sobbing and still half crying.
Nashi could only sigh when he saw her, but at the same time slightly relieved when he realized Yuzu didn't cry or complain like he thought she would do. "...Oi, Ume, use your phone and accompany her." He said.
Although she didn't want to listen to his brother order, she still half-heartedly did his bidding and accompanying their youngest sister.
While watching them walked to the nearby fences, Nashi silently took a box of cigarette from his pants, putting the cigarette right into his underaged lips, his fingers trembled around the lighter as he tried to light it up for soo many times until the flame finally burned it down. He inhaled deeply, letting the smoke seeped into his lungs remembering all the warnings but not caring. Just as he removed the cigarette from his lips, he blew the smoke into the air as he silently watched a moment of his life sheared away and the ash sprinkled across the asphalt when he flicked the filter.
"...Goddammit." He was hoped this could help him to calm down. But instead of that, what entered his mind right now was his father shout when he found out he was smoking. The lecture from both of his parent, and the regret as he recalling what he just thought before.
...I just save your life now you better listen to my order.
And so did his mother when she gave birth to him, and his father whose worked to give them a fulfilled life. Yet, they never for once trying to force him to listen to their words. Alongside with this was the pain and the disappointment that he felt in his heart when his sister didn't want to listen to him, even though what he did was basically saving her life.

He blankly stared at the cigarette between his fingers. Imagining what his parent felt for the last one year, living and feeding the child that always fought back whenever they gave him an advice. Frowned, his vision became blurry as if he was diving in the ocean without the google. And then he felt the sudden heat near his fingers, the cigarette was almost short enough to burn his finger, and with a little effort, he threw it to the ground and leaned forward to crush it out.
Sighing, somehow he felt a little bit calmed down. While he wondered whether or not it was the work of Nicotine or the lessons that he remembered from his memories, he started to open his status screen and trying to get the gist of it.
There weren't that many significant changes, but one thing did change. He only saw it for a moment but he remembered the number on brawling progress was different. While he couldn't exactly recall what was the former number but right now the number was 6/40.
Nashi settled down, rubbing his chin and learning the rest of the screen. When he began to think about those numbers and terms. No matter how he perceived it, this was very gamey sounding.
But unlike the game, there was no clue or no further explanation about those terms and numbers, not a single one existed.
Sighing, and by accident, from the Mini Map, he saw both of his sisters already finished their business and went into his direction, as soon as they arrived there was no word, they just lay down, pretending that the hard rock was their bed and their hands were the pillow.
"...Oi, Ume, Yuzu, don't sleep just yet and hear me out." Nashi said as he was trying the best of his ability to smoothen his tone.
A few moments later, after he finished his word, he caught a glimpse to some few things.
First, as long as the other party agreed, Nashi could see their floating screens and alongside with this discovery.
Installation begins....
....
Social feature is now installed. Now you can send the message (Up to 150 letters) to a friend within a radius of 1,000 meters from your position. Now you can view the status of your friends, Status will only be updated whenever your friend shows his/her new status. Whenever a friend is dead you'll get the notification.
After nodding in amazement, at the very least Nashi didn't need to worry about the communication problem. Though, after adding each other in their Social feature. without wasting another second...
First, it was Ume's turn. She had Inspect as her feature, allowing her to see the status on the object if she was looking through her circled fingers. Although... she didn't understand about her Feature either. But as she tried to use it for the first time on the Chain-Geared weapon.
Inspect Lvl 1: look through your circled fingers to detect and see the status of any object that has a value lower than 10.
Rarity Type Effect Quality Value Basic Improvised Weapon, Flail +2 Bludgeon Damage 45 1
Then, the list of her Talent was Archery III 30/60, Bow Weapon Mastery II 6/40, Longbow Weapon Mastery I 6/20, and Swimming I (8/20).
After Nashi was hearing about Ume's Talents, a question popped out in his mind, what was the difference between Archery and Bow Weapon Mastery? Well, the most important finding was knowing the fact that Ume did do an Archery and it correlated with her Talents.
Second, Yuzu had Inventory as her Feature.
Inventory Lvl 1: Store up to 10 kilograms of things in interdimensional space, time will be frozen for the stored item, can't store living thing.
As her head nodded in drowsiness, and her eyes half opened and half closed, she showed how Inventory works, using the same Chain Geared object, the object slowly disappeared as it was being sucked into the sudden black hole.
Her list of Talents was Dancing I (11/20) and Persuasion I (10/20)
Still, that was the only thing they could get and understand. And as Yuzu slowly wobbled her head, falling down to the ground, snored with her mouth wide opened.
And from out of nowhere, she opened her mouth and asked something. "Give me your cigarette."
Inwardly sighed, after staring at her for a few seconds, albeit hesitant, he threw the cigarette along with the lighter to her sister. "...If they know about this, I bet they are going to kill me." Nashi spoke, as he watched her trying to light the cigarette up.
Clicked her tongue, after hitting the ground for a few times, the shaking on her hands finally stopped. Though... as the sweetly flavoured filter touched her pink lips, in amazement, she began to lick her own lips, slowly savouring the sweet lingering taste. And without hesitation, she began to light it up and inhale the smoke as deeply as she could.
What followed was Ume's eyes wide opened when the sweet smell and taste turned into a bitter one, then she coughed wildly, exhaling every little bit of the smoke that was trapped inside of her lung, she refused to smile and glared to her brother. (How can he inhale something like this?!) Ume's thought as her finger slowly changed its direction, ready to flick away the cigarette.
But...
"...Oi, sorry." Said Nashi, slightly nodded toward her sister, even though he couldn't understand the reason, somehow he just felt he needed to do that.
"About what?" Ume replied as her finger stopped.
"Dunno, just wanted to say it." Nashi's spoke as he giving her a wry smile.
"Hmph... weirdo, anyway now what? should we take turns keeping watch? I can take the first watch, you can go get some rest."
Hearing her sister words, Nashi only raised his eyebrows and rolled his eyes. "...You even can't stay awake past 10."
"Hmph, you may not know but I can stay past 12 right now. Now just go to sleep, let me do the first watch" She smugly said, and five minutes later she joined Yuzu in their private choir of snoring.
Shrugging his shoulder, somehow Nashi felt a little bit relieved to not one hundred percent believed at his sister words.
