Chapter 5-Bloodsucker

I woke up to Cristina on top of me, punching and smacking me, I don't feel anything but again, it's the thought that counts. A sudden realization hit me, has she hit the rebellious faze now? Ah, how could let it come to this, I'm sorry Cynthia, Cristina hates me now. As I was crying in my mind, Cristina said, with a huge smile.

"The man is here to pick us up, hurry and get dressed, we need to leave. Silly papa." And she got off me. I went to the baths with Cristina and got ourselves cleaned. I got Cristina dressed and she ate breakfast. She finished and we went outside to see a lovely looking carriage waiting for us, and a man in the front seat, smiling and waving at us. I smiled at him and got in the carriage with Cristina.

To my surprise, Bob was here too. He sat across from us, a smile on his face and Cristina hid herself behind my arm, so adorable and shy, hehehe~

"Here will be your daughter's school uniform and here is the school's badge. It shows that you're a student of our school. Upon reaching the school, I will give your daughter an aptitude test and give her another badge that will show what class she will be in, and also her magic potential. This is also the perfect time to enroll as a new year is starting and the entrance ceremony is starting soon." Said Bob and handed me a black, frilly dress with white trimmings. There were sleeves and had two patches, one on each arm, for her badges to go. I stuck the first badge on the right sleeve. The badge had an image on it that looked like a rising sun.

"For certain reasons, she has to be in my class. It will be bad for her if she doesn't, and if you could let hs room together, that'd be great too." I said and Bob raised his eyebrows. He was obviously holding back every urge in his body to pry, but refrained, I salute you Bob, that's a sensitive topic, for now and forever. I might have tried to kill you if you tried to pry.

The travel to the academy was very comfortable. The academy was quite a ways from the city itself, we were attacked by monsters a few times, but the driver took care of them, he's so capable. Soon, we arrived at the academy and, might I add, that it was needlessly huge. Why would you need 19 buildings anyways? And this gate is just, why?

Bob, like he was reading my mind, he might have been actually, and told me about the academy. Cristina, when she saw the campus, forgot to breathe for a second, it looked so beautiful. Gardens here and there, trees over there, bushes over here. It was magnificent.

"There are 7 dorms for each gender of student, a lunch room, the classrooms, the training ground, the principal's office, and the dorm for specials. They are the problemed and troubled students. The dorms are separated by year and you're daughter will be living in the first year dorm." He said and he walked us to the principal's office to have Cristina take the aptitude test. We reached the office and it was very nice. Bob walked over to his desk and pulled out a crystal ball from a drawer.

"Now, place your hand upon this." Said Bob and Cristina complied. It shone red and then blue, with a faint green. Bob had raised eyebrows.

"Looks like your daughter has three elements. A very high affinity for fire, and average affinity for water, and a low affinity for wind. Her water element is a variant, ice. How magnificent, such magic prowess." Said Bob and Cristina looked at me confused then I told her what this means and she had a huge smile on her face and hugged my leg.

"Daddy, are you proud of me?" She said, tears in the corners of her eyes, what's with that face. Now you're trying to give me heart attacks to lower my lifespan. Such a cute daughter, I can't believe she thought I wasn't proud of her, how ridiculous. I will always hold my head high and say that I am happy to be your father. I patted her head and assured that I always was and always will be proud of her, for now and forever.

"Okay, with that settled she can be in your class. Now, tomorrow you will start teaching and she will enroll in this academy. Here is her room key and number and her student identification card. It shows who you are, your name and such, and your rank. Here is her rank badge and class schedule." He said and handed me a black star. I put it on the left sleeve of Cristina's uniform, took the schedule and took Cristina to her room. Apparently, she will have a female roommate. Since I will be living with Cristina also, she could make a friend and be with me. This is good, I need these good memories, I can feel it working.

Her schedule is alright, her classes are like this:

Intro to Fire Magic: 8:00 am-9:00 am

Magic Studies: 9:30 am-10:30 am

Intro to Water Magic: 11:00 am-12:00 am

World History: 12:30 pm-1:30 pm

Intro to Wind Magic: 2:00 pm-3:00 pm

Battle Training: 3:30 pm-4:30 pm

Also, while I'm here, I can look for some powerful allies, taking on an entire country alone would be stupid. Cynthia wasn't royalty herself, but a new king came into power a few years ago that was from her family, making her royalty now I guess. Taking revenge for her, would be killing the king pretty much and that requires allies. I have already been researching in the library about the info on a certain person I want to join me.

He was from a race of demons that were masters with magic and developed a secret and forbidden technique. This man stole that technique and it made him immortal. Now he roams the land and the last seen location of him is in a forest, not too far from here. This is also why I decided to teach here. His name, is Magaki Hoshino and ally number one on my list. He also has a bad history with Sryinx as well, persecution and such. That hero in that book I read Cristina, the demons who killed his parents were from his clan, then that hero became king and persecuted his clan. I assume he would hold quite the grudge.

As I was walking Cristina to her room, we got a lot of stares, there was literally a crowd of people following us. I overheard some of their hushed whispers.

"Who is that girl, so beautiful."

"Ha, in your dreams, who could get someone like her."

"Look at that man behind her, he is so handsome. I wonder is he's single."

"That's probably her boyfriend or something, we should give up."

"You idiots, she probably 7 or 8 years old, are you guys pedophiles or something, and that man behind her is most likely her father, see how they resemble each other? God, I'm surrounded by idiots." One of them said and I looked at them. They might be a good friend to Cristina to make such observations on sight, and thanks for diffusing that situation, I salute you, but if you're male, I'm gonna lynch you, now where are you...

"But I wish he was my father too, so handsome." The person said, a female it looks like, good, if you were a male, I would lynch you if tried to get close to my angel, and I retract my salute, you added fuel to the fire. Now all the females were eyeing me and the men were eyeing Cristina, she looked behind us and saw the stares and hid her face in my leg, no,gah! I'll never get used to this adorableness.

The men fainted and the women drooled. Cheese and rice, she could start wars if she wanted to, not good, I must set her on right path beforehand. We arrived at the dorm and the men cried and the women ran in with us. Cristina was scared of all these people, so I told her the room number and gave her the key, kissed her cheek goodbye and she bolted up the stairs.

I turned around and got bombarded with questions. This was kinda irritating but I am never rude to children, so I sat down to answer their questions.

"One at a time or I'll never come back." As soon as I said that, everyone shut up. One women can up to me and asked a question.

"Who are you mister?" She said, she's cute too, are all children adorable?

"My name is Xearos and I am a new teacher here." I said and everyone started screaming.

"Who was that girl with you?" Someone else said.

"That was my daughter, Cristina, she is enrolling in the academy tomorrow, and I will start teaching tomorrow too." In said and everyone was excited and depressed at the same time. Don't you dare pry into my status younglings. Good, no one did and I answered the rest of their questions, where we came from, what I like, what she likes and such. Afterwards, I said I was living in this dorm, and all the women fainted. With that, I went to Cristina's room to see if she's doing well.

Apparently, the ranks in this school go by year and what badge you have. The badge rankings are, from lowest to highest, a red star, a green star, a blue star, a purple star, a black star, a white star, and a gold star. A first year getting a blue star is rare and only Cristina has ever got a black star as a first year. Makes me happy. You can increase your rank by taking tests throughout the year to see if you grew or not. By their second year, most people are green and by their fourth are blue and by graduating are purple. Some people come out black or white, but only the monsters come out with gold, the people who are peerless in magical prowess.

I walked upstairs and through the bedroom door, to find Cristina on the floor, being hugged by another female, she is quite pretty as well but I only go after mature beauties, not children. She had blue hair that went to her waist, green eyes, white skin that looks like crystal, and two sharp canines sticking from her mouth. A vampire huh, those are rare to see. She must be from a royal bloodline. Oh, she has a blue star, she must be strong.

Cristina looked at me and gave me those puppy eyes, reaching her hand out to me, aww, so cute. I walk over and pick up the little vampire, she looked confused and then sees me and gasps, punching and kicking me. I can kinda feel it, but it's, again, the thought that counts.

"Eek, pervert, let me go, you'll never take my chastity you rapist." She said, flailing  and realized that she wasn't budging me. "Why won't let me go," she struggled a bit more, dropping her shoulders, "Can you please let me go?" She said, twirling her thumbs, aww, so adorable, I set her down and she ran to her bed and covered herself in blankets, embarrassed. Cristina ran up to me and hugged my leg.

"She's scary daddy, she jumped and me and started hugging me, rubbing her face on me, and saying how cute I was, and that she will be the luckiest older sister ever." She said, crying, aww, so cute. I pat her head and pick her up, setting her on her bed and give her her uniform.

"Remember, you always have to wear this at school okay?" I said and she nodded, smiling at the beautiful dress. I smiled and went over to my bed, laying down. Today was quite hectic. I told the vampire who I am and what I am doing here, told her about Cristina and then she told is about herself.

Her name is Veronica, and she is from a royal bloodline of vampires. Her family has excellent magic power, son when her parents found out about hers, they sent her here to cultivate her magic. She is also a first year, same age as Cristina. Neat. We all chatted until it was dark outside and the two girls went to sleep while I got out of bed and started making my way to the forest near here. Determined to start my revenge.
