What Would You Do For Revenge?
Chapter 2-The Tear That Never Fell
After Cristina and I woke up, we got dressed, and I went to go find a lake to clean ourselves, but when I left, I heard Cristina started screaming. I ran back and saw her on the floor, shivering.
"Honey? Honey, what's wrong?" I said while running to Cristina, when she noticed me, she stopped and hugged my leg. Oh, no. After witnessing her mother and brother die in front of her, she has become dependant on my presence. Should I leave her, she will have a mental breakdown, this isn't good at all.
I sighed and put Cristina on my shoulder. Looks like we have to always be together from now on. If I die, she will surely become a vegetable. I can't let that happen, I promised Cynthia that Cristina and I would live.
After walking around for a while, I heard a waterfall in the distance. Running to the sound of the waterfall, I see two women bathing. I look around for any weapons or dangerous belongings, none, good, and I look around for anymore people, none, good, now to show myself.
Just as I was about to jump out of the bushes, one of the women yell at me.
"Hey, I can feel your presences over there, come out now you perverts so I can kill you over here or I'll kill you over there. It's your choice." She is kinda rude but can't be picky now. I stand up and out of the bushes.
The women are shocked at how handsome I am and Cristina on my shoulder. I just stared at them, waiting for them to do something while also being vigilant of my surroundings. They snap out of their daze and become embarrassed, fumbling to cover themselves.
"W-w-who are you?" Said the one on the right. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, wolf ears, and a fluffy blonde tail. Hmmm, it looks soft, I really want to pet it, she has big boobs, and a slim figure. In would think she was hot, if not for my wife and child dying in front of me, while my daughter becomes traumatized. Quite the shitty circumstances I would say.
"I am Xearos and this is Cristina, my daughter. Who are you people?" I said, pointing at them. They flinched and said.
"Oh, she's your daughter, does that mean you're married?" The one on the left said. She has black hair, black eyes, cat ears, a slim cat tail, and small boobs. She looks like an 8 year old.
I got mad at that question, that's a sensitive topic for now, and forever. I start walking towards them, with a menacing stare, and they start shivering, certainly scared right now.
"Don't ever talk about my wife again, or I will rip your throats out and feed them to you. Understand?" I scared them shitless and they nodded their heads so fast.
With that settled, I undress Cristina and started washing her with the water, scrubbing the dirt off best I can without proper tools. When she became all clean, I dried her off by laying her in the sun for a little. While she was drying off, I undressed and scrubbed myself to, then laying myself to dry. Cristina finished drying, got dressed and sat next to me.
'At least she didn't lose her common sense' I thought. I soon finished drying, and put my clothes back on. With that, we left and started walking forward again, away from the waterfall.
"Wait, where are you going? Can I come too?" Said the wolf girl. I glare menacingly at her.
"It has nothing to do with you." And walk away. Walking aimlessly around, I stumbled into an old temple.
'What the hell are you?' I thought, glancing around curiously, and walked in. The entire temple felt creepy, there were strange hieroglyphs on the walls, floor, ceiling, and even on statues. This was crazy.
After walking around for a while, I made it to the center of the temple. All that was in this room, was a white pedestal and a gray, floating blob of God knows what, on it. I observe it carefully, looking at it from all angles, touching the floor around it, touching the pedestal. Good, there doesn't seem to be a trap here.
"Daddy, what's that?" Said Cristina.
"I have no idea." I replied. When I was satisfied with observing it, I went to throw a rock at it. The rock bounced off of it.

'Hmmm, it looks safe but dangerous at the same time.' I thought. I went to the blob, took Cristina off of my shoulders and touched the orb. At first, nothing happened, but when I tried to take my hand away, it was stuck.
'Okay, no time to panic, let's just wait.' As soon as I thought that, I hear a voice in my head.
'Checking compatibility. Scanning complete, 100 percent compatibility. Synchronizing.'
'Oh no, that doesn't sound good.' I thought and tried to take my hand away again, but when I did, the blob started crawling over my arm, sliding around my body, seeping into my skin and down my throat.
'Argh, what the hell is this? It hurts like hell.'
"Grahhhh!" I yell out in agony. It hurts so much I can cry but tears won't come out. Soon after, I fainted while hearing the voice again, looking at Cristina's crying and panicked face.
"Synchronizing complete. Successfully merged into host. Commencing bodily changes."
An hour later...
*Blegh* *cough* *cough* I wake, puking up blood. My body hurts but not as much as before. I feel tingly. I put my hand on the floor to hoist myself up, and I made a giant crack in the floor.
'What happened, I remember touching that blob and then passing out. Wait, where's Cristina? Oh she's next to me, eyes like a waterfall and snot all over her face.'
"*hic* *hic* Daddy, I was so worried when you fell on the ground, *hic* I thought you were never gonna wake up. *hic*" She said, and throwing herself on me. Despite every urge in my body, I resisted hugging her, this new strength is deadly.
"Hehe, your old man won't let something like this make him kick the bucket. Now, do you wanna go? You're hungry right? Come on, let's get some food." I said, cheering her up and making her embarrassed when her stomach growled. I picked her up and put her on my shoulder as gently as I could.
I walked out of the temple and back to the lake, I wanted to see if my appearance changed, but when I moved, I moved incredibly fast, and next thing I knew, I was outside the temple. I made it to the lake and there was no one here. I can now 'feel' when someone is in a 25 meter radius from me at the epicenter. Who knows what else happened to me. My skin looks like a circuit board, with blue, pulsing lines lining my arms and chest, but the rest of my body is the same, but now I have glowing, blue eyes.
I 'feel' an animal nearby. I run to it and accidentally run into it, sending it into a tree, killing it. It looked like a deer, but with blue fur, it was called and Irth. I drag the Irth back to the lake and make tried to make a fire with a stone and sticks. It didn't work at all, I kept breaking the tools.
Right when I was about to give up, I was thinking how I really want to cook this, and a ball of fire appeared on the Irth and burned it. The flames were blue and turned the Irth into ashes in seconds.
"What the? Did I do that? That could be helpful." I said and practiced willing things to burn and they would catch on fire and burn. Sometimes, I would will the fire to burn slower, and it did. I could control how hot the fires temperature was, and the size.
"Wait, what am I doing, I need to get food. Ok, I 'feel' another Irth in the bushes. Let's do this right.' I thought and walked over to the bushes and poked my head through. I saw an Irth grazing on the grass. I ran at the Irth and grabbed it by the neck, lifting it up with ease, and cracked its neck.
I dragged it back to the lake and skinned it. I set the pelt In the lake to clean it and put it out to dry. I ripped a piece of the Irth off of the body and used my fire to burn it. It was a nice and crispy and I gave the meat to Cristina. I didn't feel hunger thirst, nor exhaustion in this new body. Neat.
After Cristina was done eating, I picked her up and we continued our journey. I vaguely remember where we are and we should be seeing the city Sryinx soon up ahead, maybe we can rest there for awhile.
'With this new power and strength, I could exact my revenge, but I'll need allies for that. There are some people I have in mind.' I thought and saw the Sryinx in the distance. I walked out of the forest and to the city.
