After cuddling the not so cooperative blue squirrel, she get up to look around her. A hand on her chin and tilting slightly to the side she began to wonder where the exit was. When she looks behind her, the doors didn't move an inch since they closed, the room, beside the noises of complaint from the blue creature, was calm and peaceful just like when Flora discovered it.
She picks her phone and begin to inspect thoroughly the spacious and dark room. She tries everything, upon placing her hands everywhere she could, on each pillar, paintings, even the solemn statue couldn't dodge the inspection. The conclusion was the same as before, no exit were to be sighted, or if there was one, it definitely wasn't there.
Flora didn't shine for a patience, it was the opposite, quick tempered and hot headed. She finally sit on the ground leaving a big sight of desperation. The squirrel now found an opportunity to avenge its lost pride in all those cuddles, it approached her with its hands behind its back. When it was close enough it started mocking her until it fall to the ground, laughing of the situation she was trapped in.
- Hm... You know you're trapped with me right?
Told Flora to the non cooperative squirrel. It then get up, looking at its nails with a mocking grin while it went to a pillar. There it looked at at Flora like it was saying "just look at me if I can't get out."
It proceeds to take a pose, as if it was about to jump on the pillar and escape from there. It took some steps back before running at full speed straight in the direction of the pillar. Then, it launch its tiny body on an upper part of the column but ended up sliding to the ground. The determined squirrel repeated the operation quite a few times before giving up and sitting against Flora.
- There, I told you, you're trapped with me!
The squirrel used its hands to mimic the mouth of Flora and repeated by miming what she said but with a sarcastic face. One thing she learned from this, this squirrel really have a temper for itself too, just like humans could have. This light atmosphere made Flora chuckle from the situation, the squirrel who was now calmed down and a cute little smile appeared on the corner of its mouth.
- Now I prefer this expression, don't give up little squirrel, we will find a way out, I'm sure of it! But where to start...
After seeing the squirrel sliding from the pillar, she was now sure the same end would await her. It was a pitiful attempt to even try escape from there, she now realizes her own mistake there. She even thought to herself that she should be more careful after this incident. The first one, where she met this fearsome bird, was only saved because another apex predator came at the same time, otherwise she would end up in the belly of it, she was sure of it. Here, she tried to make up a plan about escaping from the roof, situated approximately 8 meters from the ground.
The first one to get up was the squirrel, it began to move its ears from left to right, while moving its head according to where it wanted to listen. The squirrel then finally heard something, Flora was about to ask it something but it did a gesture from its hand just like saying "Not right now."
It was now in front of a painting, the one representing the ocean with all the creatures following one of the Five. The blue squirrel proceed to get one of its big and fluffy ear against the wall, from a sign of its tiny hands it calls Flora to come inspect it too. Curious about what it wanted to show her, she rushes to it, mimicking the gesture. At the beginning she heard nothing, but then after concentrating enough, she heard a quite trickle from behind the wall.

- Water? Then that maybe means there is something else behind this wall... Like a fake wall!
The squirrel thumbs up at her, she decipher a slight hint of mocking behind it but she decided to not confront it for it, after all, it maybe found the exit. They both place their hands against the wall and start pushing in unison, the wall where they were pushing started to lose some cements, falling down to the ground. This fired their determination to both and they are now pushing to their hardest, finally, the fake wall was a door, so it slammed against the wall, both of them were running without stopping in the dark and slippery corridor. Without stopping they saw the end of the passage, ending in sharp edge, they began to try to stop by any means but without success, they're both falling. But from luck or a destined way, it was not from a high place, the concerning part of this new adventure was they were just like on a slide, leading deeper and deeper underground.
Squirrel and Flora hugs each other while screaming from all the air they had. After quite some times they stopped because it was unusually long for a slide. Finally, a light in the distant passage, with anticipation they didn't know where they would end but at least it was better than staying in this closed temple.
Flora fell first to the ground, leaving a "Ouch" as she landed as she could. Then came Squirrel, that fell on her back, happy to not get hurt in the fall. It then proceed to walk on the head of Flora to look closely to what were now surrounding them. A field of crystals inside a cave deep within the earth. With excitement and greed, it launches itself from the head, by stepping on the forehead of Flora, it wanted to take some crystals.
- You could at excuse you after doing something like this!
The squirrel didn't pay attention at all to what she was saying, no, its instinct was now only focused on the crystals of multiples colors. What was funny in this situation was that they had the effect to reflect the form and shape of what's in front of it but by deforming according to the shape of the crystal.
A "Woaw" of surprise escaped the mouth of Flora as she looks around her, mesmerized by all those crystals of colors too. Her attention was now focused on the action of little blue squirrel, it was trying to take out a crystal too big for its size by grabbing it and pushing with the help of its feet. It then gave up and went to a more modest one, suiting, its size and strength.
- Hmm I don't think we should take one, after all they've been forming there for quite some time, don't you think?
The usual grumpiness of the squirrel cam back in an instant and it shoo her from a sign of the end. After insisting with enough energy left in its tiny body it finally was able to pick of from the wall of the cave. It did a little dance of victory, hugging the rock and imagining all it could do with it. What it did not expect from the crystal was the brightness glowing further and further. The little and pale pink crystal was now emitting a worrisome light. Squirrel looked at Flora as if it was asking if it was normal to react like this.
- I don't know, how should I even know?
As she lift her hands with a face full of worries. Squirrel put the crystal back to where it took it, the light was now concentrating in the center of the crystal.
- Run!!
Squirrel rushed back to Flora, hiding behind her legs while its head inspect what will happen next. The little crystal in a little explosion, little but enough to blow a part of the wall where it was inlay. The blue squirrel looked at its hands and touched its face, what would have happen if it held it to the end.
- I guess we should refrain from touching them from now on.
As she turns around to do a moral lesson to Squirrel. It was agitating, pointing behind the back of Flora.
- Yeah I know it exploded, who would have known? But promise me you will not touch it again!
She got her face closer to Squirrel, it benefits of this moment to turn around the head in the direction it was pointing, her mouth gasped. The surrounding crystals were emitting the same feint light because of the explosion. Flora in a blink of an eye, grabbed Squirrel with her right hand and rushed to the opposite side of the soon to be exploded crystals. Soon after a detonation is heard, and a second, followed by another. At this rate, all the crystals will explodes in a chain reaction.
Flora and Squirrel were now running between fields of crystals, where to? They didn't know, but it was the only solution left for them right now.
