Hello its been a while since I posted a chapter and I apologize for that.
I have been having issues with motivation to get new chapters out. Many of you likely know the feeling of having a hobby that you love but one thing leads to another and it begins to feel like a job.
This isn't a notice to say the story is being discontinued or that its moving authors.
I will going back to chapter 1 and making some story and system alterations. The story and system have grown so much since the beginning and looking back things just don't fit. SO I've decided to go back to chapter one and start a revision.
Everyone on the official Discord, Patreon, Reddit, and twitter have already been made aware of these coming changes.
Additionally to try and help ensure I never have to do this shit again I will be saving Dante's status page every few chapters. In Hindsight I should have been doing this from the beginning but that didn't really happen.
This will make it so if I make a mistake I only have to backtrack a few chapters rather than possibly dozens.
Mainly I will be adjusting the system and thus the story will have to shift a bit to accommodate the changes.

Some stats and their relationships are going to be adjusted. Some stats that never really contributed much stat wise will be given... well let's just give an example.

Luck originally didn't do jack other than be an in story reason to give Dante good things. Then it added itself to his Health, Mana, and Stamina, which isn't to say it added itself to his Con, End, or Int. It just added itself to each of the resource pools.
Now It and the other stats will be scaling more with Rank. Rank was added later into the development of the story and so it seemed rather tacked on. This revision will be to help better integrate these systems into the story and the rest of the system.
Additionally I will be making it so instead of lumping all Exp together, I will have a column for Health, Mana, Stamina, and for general Exp. This way I can better implement the growth system. Every so many of a resource spent the stat directly linked to that resource will increase by 1 permanently.
Growth will be represented by a tiny progress bar. The bar is dependent on the stat value at that moment. So if you have 50% progress to a stat increase but put a point into the stat, the progress will adjust to the new value. Progress is not lost. There will be a tiny increase to the resources you need to spend for each next stat point. But this means you technically never have to spend Stat points on trainable stats if you don't want to.
This all will take me some time to implement so bear with me.
