Clarrisa watched with bated breath. The two most popular boys in the entire school were about to unleash their full force against each ohter. Much had changed in the past week since super powers had come randomly to the student body. Those who had them now ruled everything from the front office to the library, to the football field to the cafeterai and even the basements below the theater. But powers like this cannot coexist for too long before they clash and cause all out war!
Jose Santiago, the expected valedictorian and prom king, wide reciever, and head of the Key Club squared off against Redeem Jackson, lead singer of the school’s gospel choid club, student body president and all-around beloved prankster. Jose commanded power over the winds while Redeem had the power of pizza.
“Rachel is going with me to the prom, Redeem! Just accept that! There’s no reason for your corpse to fly on the flapole today!” Jose shouted, the football team backing him up. Even if many of the didn’t have powers.
“Oh come on pizza face, Rachel is a bif girl,” Redeem laughed, flashing his milky-white grin. “She can choose for herself who she’s going to the prom with!”
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“Who are you calling pizza face<” Jose began asking, just as his cheeks sprouted pepperoni slices and mushrooms. Clarrisa could smell the savory flavors from yards away!
Jose pointed at the tall black kid and screamed, “You’ll pay for this!”
A blast like a hurricane whooshed from the breezeway to slam into Redeem. He summoned a large extra-sdish pizza with stuffed crust and anchoives which completely rebuffed the wind.
“Eat some of this!” Redeem shouted back, creating pizza shuriken. He flung them with expertise, but Jose’s well placed gusts knocked them aside.
One footblall player transformed into a living boulder, begging Jose to let him smash Redeem. Before Jose could say a word, the ground underneath the team turned to extra cheese, soft and piping hot! They howled as they sank up to their knees in all American cheddar goodness. Jose used his winds to levitate over the battlefield. He glared imperiously down on Redeem.
“Oh no,” Clarissa whispered. “They will destroy everything!”
Jose called down a category five hunado. Redeem created a boiling pizza bomb. There were too many innocent bystanders. They would get roasted and flunf into the atmosphere! She had worked all week long to prevent anyone from knowing her secret. But these rivalries and fueds resolved with powers had gone far enough. The school had become overrun with clique leaders acting like warlords and nerds getting their revenge, and bullies acting even worse. Enough was enoguh!
