Chapter 2 - Banished to the Demonic Lands

Chapter 2 - Banished to the Demonic Lands

Virgil Azrael walked up to Felix who was buried in the wall.

*Slap!*

Virgil cast Haste Magic on his arm and slapped Felix at incredibly high speeds. Felix didn't seem to feel any of the slaps as blackness crept over his white sclera, contrasting quite well with his blood red irises.

Seeing his slaps had no effect other than pissing Felix off even further, Virgil stopped slapping and instead spit on Felix's face. "Goddamn trash, who do you think you are hurting my son!?". Unlike his son, Virgil's strongest element was Earth, so he used that advantage and started molding the building wall Felix was in and made a suit of rock around Felix's body, only leaving his head without 'armor'.

Felix kept thrashing around with unbelievable amounts of fervor, he seemed to have truly lost his mind as he kept roaring and growling at everyone present.

The man in the white suit, Tyr, was the head of the Council of the Clan and he had always shown a near unlimited amount of disdain for Felix, always claiming that Felix was nothing but a stupid and barbaric beast. Now he had proof.

"Haha! What did I say? He's nothing but a beast. We will have him killed at once. If you could do the honors, Virgil." Tyr's voice was filled with glee and self-righteousness as he motioned for Virgil to kill Felix. Virgil, not wanting to give up the chance to kill the person who hurt his son, made a fist with his outstretched hand.

The Earthen Armor on Felix started slowly contracting inwards and crushing him.

"ARGGHHHHHH!" Felix roared out as his thrashing increase in power and intensity.

His mother rushed over with a dark expression on her face. "Unhand my son. Now." The air around her billowed as if following the orders of it's Queen, it started lightly spinning, with her at the center, but the pressure it placed on Tyr and Virgil was nothing to scoff at, they could both feel the power of mana thrumming in the wind surrounding them, like a prison of air.

"Miss Charlotte, your son has crippled an esteemed guest of our clan. According to the rules, he should be killed!" Tyr hurriedly said with an expression of fear on his face. "Hmph! This so-called esteemed guest humiliated my Daughter in public, Felix was just protecting his sister!" She spoke with a wrath only a mother could conjure. It spoke of promises of death and pain to whoever would hurt her children.

The wind's spinning speed was picking up and it pushed back all the normal people watching the fiasco. Tyr and Virgil could tell that Charlotte was preparing to fight them both. Virgil looked at her with a vicious glint in his eyes. "She is to be his bride anyway, what does it matter if Dante does something to his wife?! It's your stupid beast of a son who's the problem!" with saying this, Virgil started crushing Felix even faster.

Felix was no longer roaring but the expression on his face was getting more and more twisted with wrath and hatred, his teeth looked like they were getting closer and closer to fangs as he snarled. He pushed his body to the max as he tried to break the rock prison he was in, he could feel his bones cracking and his muscles tearing but he pushed on.

"When my son marries your sister, I assure you that he will torment her every day. Die, die knowing that you couldn't protect your sister." Virgil's face was twisted in sadistic glee as he got close enough to whisper into Felix's ear.

'Power. Power. Power. Power. POWER. POWER. I NEED POWER!'

Felix kept repeating this mentally as his eyes changed further. His pupils became slits, red crack-like lines spread across his black sclera and his Blood Red Irises shone with even more fervor looking like pools of blood.

Deep down in his body, Felix felt a wisp of something. It reminded him of what people described Mana to be like but this was different. Unlike Mana which was described as warm and gentle, this energy was boiling hot and ferocious, like a wisp of magma.

Felix used his mind to control the wisp, finding that it was incredibly compliable with his orders and directed it to where he instinctively felt was best; His Heart.

When the wisp got to his heart, the roar of a Dragon could be heard by Felix and him alone, it seemed to be roaring in indignation, with wrath that shook the Earth and Hatred that flood it. The roar seemed to kickstart something in Felix. His heart went into overtime, pumping at speeds which would instantly kill others and pumping mass amounts of blood filled with little bits of the wisp of energy.

Suddenly, Felix felt like he'd been pumped with gallons of adrenaline, his muscles full of power, his bones indestructible and his blood like magma. He flexed his right arm and broke the rock surrounding it before Virgil could react, and then Felix thrust his hand at the man's neck holding him like a sack of potatoes.

"Fuck.You." Felix's voice was hoarse and rumbled like the growl of an ancient beast. He threw Virgil into the ground towards Tyr who looked at Felix in horror and shock. Virgil went into the ground but kept traveling towards Tyr, leaving a tract of broken tiles in his wake.

Stolen novel; please report.

Felix broke the rest of the Earthen Armor and walked to his sister and mother's side. Both of them looked at him in awe with a little bit of fear; they didn't know whether he'd gone fully berserk or not. But the fear was washed away when they saw the gentle smile on his face.

Even if it did showcase his sharp canines, they could feel the love in his eyes and instantly knew that he would never hurt them. When he got in front of them, he collapsed onto one knee and coughed up some blood; he'd sustained internal damage from the rock armor.

His Mother and Sister clambered to him and held him up, slightly struggling under his massive weight from his size. Tyr was shaking, whether it was in fear or anger, no one knew. But he pulled out a medal from his pocket and crushed it.

Suddenly many black shadows appeared around where Felix was being held up. Seeing this, Felix stood up with strength he didn't know he had and growled at the shadows while putting his sister and mother behind his back, protecting them from any harm that would come.

The shadows were the elite mage soldiers of the Abaddon Clan, the Destroyers. All of them backed one hell of a punch on their own, let alone when there were 15 of them surrounding someone. When Tyr was about to order them to attack and kill Felix, a thundering voice shouted to all those present.

"I hereby banish Felix Abaddon to the Demonic Lands for crimes against the clan, I use my power as the Primarch of the clan to do this without counseling from the Head Advisor, Tyr. No one is to approach Felix Abaddon or speak his name in the clan, ever again." A man at around 5"11 with blonde hair and blue eyes walked to where Felix was. This was his Father, Markus, the Primarch of the Clan.

Sasha, looked at her brother in despair as she heard what their Father said. she struggled to stand up and say something but Felix but a hand on her shoulder signaling for her to stay down. "May I go and get a bag for my things, Primarch?" Felix's tired and worn out voice echoed out in the field of people.

His Father nodded his head slowly as he walked to his wife and daughter. Felix walked away from his crying sister and red-eyed mother and past his slightly shaking Father, he himself was feeling quite forlorn at this entire situation but he soon shrugged it off as he remembered something important; He'd found a way to get stronger.

He could still feel the wisp of energy in his heart and it was slowly but surely getting bigger and denser. He would be back, and then he'd be able to see his family again. He just needed to be stronger than everyone else.

Suddenly he felt a pair of lithe arms wrap around him with the strength to crush a normal man. "I won't allow you to leave! Never!" Tears were pouring out of Sasha's eyes like an unending fountain, her expression was one of pure sadness and worry. "Sasha, I promised that I'd be your protector, didn't I?" Sasha nodded "Then that's that. I'll be back once I'm strong enough." He spoke with a gentle smile that disassociated him and the snarling beast from before.

But even after saying that, Sasha didn't let go, so Felix shuffled around and hugged her back. Sasha fully broke down after this, she crumbled down as her grip on Felix got stronger and stronger. "I'm sorry Sasha..." after saying this, Felix quickly hit her on the back of the neck and knocked her out. He knew how stubborn and tenacious his little sister could be, so this was the only way to make her let go.

He picked her up and passed her to their Father. "Felix, a carriage will take you to the entrance of the Demonic Lands. Goodbye." After saying that, Markus turned away, the shaking from earlier even worse.

Felix knew the pain his father was undergoing, he had to put the clan before his own son. The emotionally pain was most likely crippling.

Felix turned around and walked back to his room. But this time, he walked with a confident gait and his head held high, like he was the natural apex predator of this area of the world. People parted out of his way, in both fear and awe as he walked. Once he was out of the crowd, he jogged back to his house.

Tyr watched Felix run away and felt unease in his heart; he knew he'd pay for this. Especially when he saw Markus and Charlottes barely hidden fury when they looked at him.

Felix soon got home and packed up some books and encyclopedias that he thought were useful, most of them being about medicine and dangerous stuff in the Demonic Lands. On the way out he decided to put a few big bottles of water into his bag along with some rations. While he was at it, he ate and drank as much as he could before leaving.

The carriage was outside his house when he left, so he just got in it. It was an hour-long ride to the Demonic Lands, so he decided to use his medical knowledge to see how hurt he was.

One of Felix's hobbies other than exercising his body was to read books, mainly medical oriented books. Mainly so he could avoid injury when he was training and so he could know weak spots on his enemies, also because nobody really looked out for him apart from his parents and sister, so he had to mend himself when he was hurt because the 3 of them were usually busy.

Felix finished his self-diagnosis and knew how hurt he was: Both arms were fractured in multiple places, same with the legs. 2 of his ribs were broken and 3 were fractured, he still had some nasty burns from when Dante's fireball hit him. He had some internal bleeding as well but the wisp of energy had mainly healed that.

Felix didn't worry about his injuries, mainly because his self-recovery speed was insanely high and he could heal from almost any attack that wasn't incredibly life-threatening. Felix lay down in the carriage and went to sleep, he figured that he could use this time to rest and recover some.

He woke up an hour later from a bang on the door, he rubbed his head as he remembered a weird dream he was having but it soon went blurry and Felix was unable to remember it.

After he got out of the carriage, he was surprised to see that his bones were all healed back to full strength again. He quickly attributed it to the mysterious energy in his heart and stopped thinking about it. He put his bag on his back and looked at the forest in front of him.

The trees were all black with red leaves like the trees had been charred and it was August time. They were also incredibly tall like they'd been alive for innumerable years.

Felix took a deep breath in, smelling what his new home was like and despite his situation and the danger of the Demonic Lands, he was excited. He would get stronger here, he would become the apex here and then, then it was the rest of the world.

Felix walked into the forest with a confident smirk on his face; this marked the start of something special.
