Chapter 1 - "Trash" of the Abaddon Family

Chapter 1 - "Trash" of the Abaddon Family

Felix opened his eyes as he heard his alarm clock go off, rubbing his eyes as he stood up and turned his alarm off. He stood up and moved his long-ish blonde hair out of his eyes and slicked it backward, he then walked towards the bathroom in his house.

After brushing his teeth and washing his face, Felix looked at himself in the mirror.

His 6"5 stature which was filled to the brim with muscles, gave him an imposing aura and told those who saw him that he held inhuman amounts of power. His muscles were neither too bulky nor too lean, giving off a vibe of the perfect balance between strength and speed.

Even though he looked at his perfect body, Felix couldn't help but look at it in disdain.

'Even with all my strength, I can't match up to Mages. I'm so weak.'

This was all Felix could think when he saw his body; His weakness.

Felix lived in a world full of Mages, they were the pinnacle of power of his world. They had the power to manipulate the forces of nature, whether it be fire, water, air or earth, all were mere playthings for a Mage. Even the weakest of spells could eviscerate a normal civilian.

Their only weakness is their weaker than average bodies due to Mana Muscle Atrophy.

Felix Abbadon was part of the Abbadon Clan, a clan of Mages who were one of the Top 5 Clans in their country. But alas, he was nothing but a cripple, seen as trash by the family, born without Mana Veins or a Mana Core.

But he wasn't without advantages. Felix had vastly superior physical prowess compared to even seasoned warriors of the sword, the people charged with protecting Mages on the Battlefield. Even at the young age of 6, he could overpower a few men at the same time without much effort. Now that he was 16, he could only be described as beyond human limits in terms of his physical prowess.

But no matter his strength he could not break a Mages Barrier magic, no matter his speed he could not match Haste Magic, and even with his inhuman ability to take hits and heal he could not take a spell head on.

Every day he was reminded of his weakness when he saw his Father's brow full of lines and his Mother's worn out eyes. He never showed it to his parents but he was sick of it all. The weakness he felt, the sadness he felt from his parents' dismay and worst of all how little he meant to the whole clan.

But a beacon of light shines brightest when the night is at it's darkest. His parents had a child when he was 7, a girl, and she was an incredibly talented Mage. She grew up quicker than others and didn't have a weak body. On the contrary, she had an above average human body but not to the same inhuman level as Felix. Her name was Sasha.

She was humble, loving and kind. She also tried to protect Felix from the beatings he'd get from the other young masters of the clan, she admired her brother's immense physical abilities, unlike the rest of the clan who disdained him for it.

By the time Felix was 16, she looked like a 14-year-old teenage girl, despite being only 9 years old. She was something that kept Felix going, he wished to be her defender on the Battlefield, protecting her from all those who wished her harm.

To finalize this, Felix had to go see their Father, the Primarch of the Clan, to have it set in stone, this was the reason he got up so early.

Felix put on a formal suit, a black suit with a white shirt and a thin black tie. After putting on some black dress shoes, he set off for where he planned to meet his sister.

The reason they didn't meet at his house was that he, by order of the Council of the Clan, lived on his own. Apparently, they didn't want him distracting his sister with his "ignorant" ways of improving his body's strength, even if it would benefit her survivability.

He did a light jog, that would put the top athlete's speed to shame, towards the area he had to go to and got there in no time without breaking even a little bit of a sweat.

When he arrived there, he saw a crowd had gathered, so big that even with his height he couldn't see over the crowd. In the end, he pushed his way through the crowd, with ease, out of worry that his sister had gotten into another fight over him.

When he pushed his way to the front of the crowd, what he saw caused him to stop as if he'd frozen in place.

"Hmph! Why do you keep trying to defend that trash? He's only your Brother, you don't need him." A high-pitched, nearing on shrill, voice screamed at his sister who was lying on the floor, blood pouring out of her mouth.

The voice was a young master from another clan, the Azrael Clan, his name was Dante. He was 15 and was seen as a once in a century kind of Genius who was only matched by a few people in his Generation.

The Abaddon Clan and the Azrael Clan wished to unite, so they were planning multiple marriages, one of them being a marriage between Sasha and Dante. Sasha, however, adamantly refused this marriage proposal, solely on the fact that Dante spared no expense when it came to humiliating Felix and Sasha was livid with the fact that Dante thought she'd be okay with marrying such a man.

Dante came here today to convince her about the marriage proposal but as he's a spoiled brat and she denied him instantly because she was meeting her Brother, Dante flipped out and attack her. A fight ensued this and the two of them fought quite viciously.

But even if she was a highly talented Mage, she was much younger than the equally talented Dante, so before long, Dante had beaten her. But the fact was that he kept beating her in whichever way he could. He slapped her, kicked her, spat on her and even threw weak fireball and waterball spells at her.

By the time Felix got here, she looked nothing like the talented and beautiful Mage everyone knew but more like a homeless beggar.

Sasha looked up and saw Felix, her eyes going wide and signaling for him to run away and hide but Felix stood there as a wrath he'd never felt before crept out of his bones and into his body. He started walking towards them.

Soon after Felix started walking, Dante heard his footsteps and looked to see who it was. When he saw that it was Felix, he was overjoyed.

"Ohohoh I get to take down two birds with one stone! What's up trash? Are you angry with me because of this?" Dante's shrill voice grated against everyone's ears, but no one dared tell him to shut up in fear of him obliterating them.

Felix just kept quiet as he kept walking forward, soon he was in front of Dante. Sasha struggled to open her mouth and speak "Big...bro...run away..." her voice was hoarse and weak but her desperation was clearly seen by Felix who felt a pang of pain in his heart.

To everyone's surprise, Felix walked right past Dante and picked up Sasha off the ground. Dante was surprised for a second before rage appeared on his face "How dare you ignore me! Trash!" Dante stood in Felix's path back to where he came.

Felix reached to his sisters pocket on her jacket and pulled out a necklace and crushed it. A signal shot into the sky and instantly a lady shot to where they were. As soon as she landed, Felix shot towards her at unreal speeds, making everyone think he was using Haste Magic.

But he wasn't, this was just his pure muscular strength transferred into explosive power.

The lady rushed to Felix and Sasha but Felix appeared in front of her, surprising her. The lady was their Mom, Charlotte, the Wife of the Primarch. She was shocked when she saw the state of her daughter and looked to Felix for an explanation but was shocked by what she saw.

His usual emotionless face was full of fury, wrath, and hatred. When he was around her and his sister, he usually showed a gentle smile but that wasn't there anymore, what replaced it was a snarling expression as if he wasn't a human but instead a rabid beast.

Felix quickly handed Sasha to his Mom and turned around to face Dante but he was stopped by a tug on his suit. His snarling expression disappeared along with the fury and the hatred, his gentle expression was back as he turned around and looked at his sister.

His Mom had healed her enough to speak so she spoke to her Brother before he did something stupid. "Big bro, please just leave it, you can't beat him! Just please let the Elders deal with this!" her voice seeped with sadness and worry at what her brother was about to do.

"If I can't get payback for you now, I honestly don't deserve to be your Big Brother, neither do I get the right to protect you in the future." He wiped the tears that were pouring incessantly out of his sister's eyes as he showed her a gentle, reassuring smile. "Just remember this okay. I'll always protect you, now and forever."

"I refuse to allow you to do this Felix, let me take him in for punishment!" his Mother's voice was dripping with worry as she looked at her two children. One talented beyond what was believed possible and one filled with so much determination, he could surpass anything, regardless of the lack of advantages for this world he has.

Felix looked at his Mom with a gentle look. "Mother, I've got to do this, for both myself and for my Little Sister. No one gets to do this and get away. Plus, it's a fight between the younger generation, you can't do anything, Mom."

After saying this he gave his sister a pat on the head and turned around as his gentle expression was shredded and replaced with his earlier expression of a snarl filled with wrath and hatred.

'Dante has crossed me for the last time! He's humiliated me all my life, mocked me as trash but this! This time he's gone too far! He will pay the ultimate price for what he has done to my sister!'

Usually, Felix's 6"5 stature's imposing air was suppressed by his humble attitude and he usually slumped about but now, he fully stood up, he seemed like a giant among men. As he walked forward, his upper suit ripped itself apart as his muscle flexed to their max. He kicked his shoes off, liking his bare feet more than dress shoes when it comes to combat.

Felix seemed like some kind of prehistoric beast as he worked towards Dante, giving off a pressure to those surrounding them.

'I'm done holding back! I'm done not doing what I want! I'm done being a weak coward!'

The surrounding crowd backed off as they looked at the furious Felix, even Dante seemed a bit worried. He'd never seen the so-called Trash get this angry and seem this powerful. "Haha! You think you can scare me, trash?!" before Dante could do anymore mocking, Felix disappeared from where he was, appearing in front of Dante.

Fury flooded his blood, making it boil, feeding his body the energy to ignore its limits and surpass them as he threw a fist at Dante who hastily made a barrier in front of him. As Felix's fist collided with the barrier, a massive boom of sound shook every one of the surrounding Mages ears. Dante looked at Felix in disdain but before he could say anything, he heard a deathly sound.

*Crack!*

Minute little cracks were spreading from where Felix hit the barrier, causing a round of gasps from those watching in the crowd. Everyone was shocked by Felix's power, especially his Mom and Sister, but unlike the others, they were also incredibly happy that he had some margin of power now.

Dante went pale and cast Haste Magic on himself as he sped backward. When he looked at Felix again, he realized he was still powering up. Steam billowed off of Felix's skin due to the heat in his body and red lines spanned across his power, following where his veins were, thrumming with his heartbeat.

It was at this moment that everyone didn't associate Felix with a human anymore, he was more like a Demon Beast if anything. Felix's blood red irises shone with bloodlust as he charged towards Dante at an even faster speed than before.

Dante wasn't willing to be left behind, so after he put up a vastly stronger barrier than before, he hurtled fireballs in Felix's direction. Felix easily dodged the fireballs but that was according to Dante's plan. One stray fireball was being consciously controlled by Dante in wait for an opening and he'd found it.

Even if Dante was a brat, he was an unimaginably talented mage and also a very smart guy when he really tried. So he'd got Felix right where he wanted him. The fireball shot towards Felix who couldn't see it and it hit and exploded with a massive boom.

Sasha screamed as she saw it and tears poured out of her eyes; she despised seeing her brother get hurt.

But surprisingly, Felix was relatively fine. He was slightly burnt but he was still running at Dante's barrier. It seemed that the fireball only pissed him off further.

As he got to the barrier he kept slamming his fists into it at a rapid speed, the strength behind each punch seeming to keep on building with each one. Crack after crack kept appearing on the barrier and Dante had been backed into a corner as a building was behind him, so while Felix was punching the barrier down, he decided to charge an attack with his strongest element.

A small blue ball of fire appeared in front of Dante as he channeled all his mana into it, sending out an aura of power and a wave of heat. Felix cared not for the attack that Dante was preparing, he'd already gone full-berserk mode as he kept hitting, kicking and slamming the barrier with everything he could and then some.

Right now, the steam was gone from Felix's body, but the red lines were getting brighter and brighter and thrumming faster and faster, just as his heart start beating faster and faster. His body grew a bit bigger, about an inch in height and his body changed to make itself proportionate to the height.

Suddenly, with the burst a power he felt, the same power that made him bigger, Felix grounded himself, spread his feet apart and slammed his fist into the center of the barrier shattering it. Dante was shocked pale as he saw his barrier shatter before his final attack was finished.

Dante tried to throw the unfinished fireball at Felix but Felix disappeared from his sight and then Dante felt pain in both in legs.

"AHHHRGHHH!" Dante screamed as he crumbled to the ground but he was caught by Felix who lifted him like he weighed nothing. Felix grabbed and then broke Dante's arms one after another, causing Dante to twitch and convulse in pain as froth started coming out of his mouth.

Felix then lifted Dante above his head and planned to slam his spine down on his knee but a mysterious force stopped him and took Dante from his grip.

"What are you doing you savage beast!? This child is an esteemed guest here!" an old man walked out of the crowd. He wore a white suit and had white hair and a white beard. He had an angry expression on his face as he waved his hand and threw Felix into a wall and kept him there in a crucifix-style position.

"You don't know what you've done, you trash!" Said another man, who's appearance reminded everyone near of Dante. And that was because it was Dante's Father, Virgil Azrael.
